    Vela 5
    Bony 21
    Perez 54 (PEN)

Vela opened the scoring in our first Champions League match of the season, running in behind the defence to slot into the bottom corner. However, Bony equalised, smashing into the top corner after a long ball up field. Perez won it from the spot after Barkley was brought down rashly.

    Match 5

    Everton 0-1 Newcastle
    Delph 74
The only goal of a dull game came when substitute Delph picked up the ball and ran at the defence. The defence backed off and he was able to fire into the bottom corner.

    League Cup Round 3

    Newcastle 3-0 Derby
    van Dijk 27
    Riviere 48
    Ferguson 73

    Simmed.

    Match 6

    Newcastle 1-0 Liverpool
    Kampl 89
In an extremely tight, end to end game, we got the win very late on. The ball was played through and Kampl was able to run onto it and slot into the bottom corner. Liverpool had played well and really didn't deserve to lose.

Champions League Group Stage Match 2

    Lokomotiv 0-2 Newcastle
    Aarons 23
    Bony 72

Aarons was finally able to prove that he is a worthy replacement for Balasz in this match, completely running the show and opening the scoring after beating 3 defenders. He then turned provider, crossing in from Bony to head home and settle the win against the Russian side.

Yeah the killing part was just me messing around since you mentioned you were thinking about killing him haha I agree on the dream part. I had that in mind because I watch The Walking Dead and I've always thought that I would be super pissed if after all those seasons Rick wakes up in the hospital from the first episode and realizes it was all a dream haha

I didn't mean a brutal murder in the hands of two billionaires, I meant something like a car accident haha. The dream thing is a very cheap way to get a character out of trouble. Maybe Corleone will get depressed and he'll resign and never coach again? Or he could start a mafia. I don't know yet.

Or he could apply for a new management job and beat the dynasty you have created with Manchester United

But in that case he wouldn't return to Verona, which is what I want to do, unless they offer him a job but it won't be the same because the team would be so much different compared to the one I had before moving to ManU.

              FIFA 15 | PS3 | Season 2 | 2015-16

              The Swans

              December 2015

              Group Match 5
              Standard Liege 0-6 Swansea
              Ings 24' 90' Bony 28' Delph 39' Shelvey 48' Montero 57'

              MotM: Danny Ings

Knowing that we needed to win to have any chance of finishing first we went out hungry for goals. Ings eventually scored after having several good chances early on. Delph played it into him and he turned before skipping past Arslanagic and placing a low shot past Thuram. Bony played it out wide through to Ings who used his pace to stay ahead of Andrade before sliding it across back to Bony to tap in for his 15th in all competitions. Delph played a one two with Bony before sprinting round Teixeira, who went to ground, leaving Delph time to pick his spot to get the third goal. Hayes made 2 halftime substitutions bringing on Gomis and Shelvey for Bony and Delph. Shelvey made an instant impact stepping up to strike home a free kick from 30+ yards past a hopeless Thuram. Shortly after they hit the post, Montero got on the end of a Gomis through ball and made it 5-0 with his strike. Redmond tore off down the right wing eventually cutting in along the end line and crossing it. The keeper dived out getting a little touch on the ball causing it to hit off Gomis and into Ings' path. He got it in off the post from a tight angle to finish the game 6-0.

"What can I say? Absolutely brilliant. What a way to start the month! Danny (Ings) was fantastic up front. Winston (Reid) and Nathaniel (Clyne) were rocks at the back. Jonjo (Shelvey) was great when he got his chance at halftime off the bench. His free kick was sublime. This puts the pressure on Lazio to beat us to top the group."

              Match 15
              Swansea 1-0 Sunderland
              Delph 27'

              MotM: Jordi Amat

Delph picked up the ball on the left about 10 yards inside the Sunderland half. He passed it across to Gomis who quickly passed it on to Ings. Diakite had come out of his position to tackle Gomis leaving space for Delph to run into and get the ball off Ings. Jones tried to intercept the ball with a sliding tackle on the edge of the box but he missed leaving Delph free to pick his spot past Pantilimon. That was enough to get the win for Hayes' team.

"That was a really satisfying win. After the goal fest on Thursday this shows that we can grind out results too which is very pleasing from a manager's perspective. Jordi (Amat) did really well today in the heart of the defense. Fabian (Delph) continues to do extremely well in midfield as well."

              Match 16
              Wigan 0-0 Swansea

              MotM: Ali Al-Habsi

"We just couldn't score against a terrible Wigan side. Their keeper was unbeatable with his 10 saves. We completely dominated them. I just don't know what happened. I fear that we missed an opportunity with this game."

              Match 17
              Swansea 1-0 Norwich
              Redmond 72'
              Martin 29' s/o

              MotM: Nathaniel Clyne

The team started brightly and things swung even more in our favor when Russell Martin got himself sent off in the 29' for a late challenge on Bony. Hayes switched up to a 4-4-2 Narrow Diamond to try and get a goal. Which it did with Redmond bagging against his former club. Clyne found space on the right and came all the way into the box before his cross picked out Redmond allowing him to volley home. This was a vital win after dropping points against Wigan in our last game.

"We created chances but again couldn't take them until Nathan (Redmond) managed to stick one in. This was a very important win after only drawing last time against Wigan."

              Group Match 6
              Lazio 2-3 Swansea
              Biglia 28' Lulic 45'
              Bony 3' Berahino 9' Delph 19'

              MotM: Jonatan Soriano

A big game that got off to a great start as Montero weaved around the box before passing to Bony who finished it into the corner. 6 minutes later Berahino broke away with his pace and stuck in the rebound off his saved shot for his 17th in all competitions. Delph then added his name to the score sheet with a beautiful curling effort. Lazio caught us out taking a quick free kick on the edge of our box and Biglia pulled a goal back. Lulic got a top corner rocket of a shot from the edge of the box on the stroke of halftime. This 1 goal win was enough to secure top spot on goals scored. Lazio will also join us in the last 32.

"We beat them on their turf as I said we would last time. Saido (Berahino), Jordi (Amat) and Simone (Scuffet) were all very good today. We grabbed top spot from them tonight as well so that makes the victory even sweeter. I've just heard our opponent will be Celtic which I am relishing."

              Match 18
              Everton 1-3 Swansea
              Oviedo 90'
              Delph 32' Montero 76' Ings 81'

              MotM: Fabian Delph

Delph carved his way through the Everton defense from midfield and then slotted past Robles. Delph was involved again playing a great through ball to Montero who managed to get in around Coleman and Mirallas and he placed it past Robles with a first time shot. Ings added the cherry on the cake when got inside Jagielka and fired another past Robles. Unfortunately Clyne sprained his ankle in the build up and had to be replaced by Fernandez. Oviedo scored a consolation goal in the 90' when we were opened up and he put it through Fabianski's legs.

"A really good win against a good side. I'm disappointed that we let in a late goal and didn't get a clean sheet but we got the result which is what matters."

Nathaniel Clyne will be out for around 3 weeks with the Sprained Ankle he picked up against Everton.

              Match 19
              Swansea 3-1 Manchester City
              Bony 30' 54' Berahino 47'
              Silva 23'

              MotM: Wilfried Bony

Silva was fed in behind our defense before he placed it past Scuffet. Bony equalized with his 13th of the season after Redmond sped off down the right wing and then passed it across to Bony for an easy tap in. Hayes' famous halftime team talk worked again when Redmond sped off down the right wing for the second time and he cut inside along the end line before pulling it back to Berahino for his 14th of the campaign. Bony not to be outdone notched his 14th in the league when Ki got himself into the box and again passed across to Bony who had found himself space. A Bony brace and a solo Berahino effort sealed a memorable victory over City.

"Another big scalp to add to Chelsea's. It was a great performance again against another top team. Wilfried (Bony) and Saido (Berahino) chipped in with more goals. Ki (Sung Yeung) was great in the center of the park and Nathan (Redmond) did really well on the right wing."

I like your writing style and the way you describe the games. It was a good month I think with you winning the games you should, except for that disaster at Fenerbache, and then getting a point against both Chelsea and City is very respectable. Your still top of the league and that's what matters! The 3 way shoot out for the 2 qualification spots adds some drama which is always fun to read!

A strong finish to the campaign. The first 3 games and 3 wins set you up nicely. I suppose drawing 0-0 in the last 2 games was slightly disappointing but as you said Valladolid fell out of it completely giving you a relatively comfortable 7 point win. You also got to the Copa Del Ray final which was a great achievement! I'm looking forward to see how you cope with La Liga and the Europa league.

A month full of wins! I'd call that a success. Top of your World Cup Qualification and Champions league groups after 2 games each puts you in a strong position. Obviously you are only 6th in the league but there is still plenty of time to turn that around. And it is only 5 points off top.

I loved the way that you did the Buxton move and also the keeper swap at the end. I really like the way you write in the manager reactions when he's on the touchline during the games. It's really nice. You also started well advancing in the cup and then getting 7 out of 9 available points is a very solid start to the league campaign. I wish you luck with the rest of the season.

8 wins from 8 is a great month! The City win just really topped it off and then getting to another cup final. Gregory seems like a great keeper for you with his 27 clean sheets and Ciftci is storming ahead in the golden boot race. Cowan-Hall is also doing great with those 15 assists. I loved using him in my Wycombe career back on '14. You have a massive lead on 2nd place!

I know how you felt in those first 3 games as it happened to me last month too. You stuck with it though and your class eventually showed in the rest of the games. Benzema and Lacazette both chipped in with a couple goals which is good. You also have a fairly big 11 point lead on Chelsea and I think you'll be able to score 2 or 3 past Dortmund in the 2nd leg. The quarter finals of the FA Cup is good also. So you are going well on each front.

                          Season 1 Millwall: May:

                          Matchday 45:

                          Middlesbrough – Millwall (2-3)
                          • 35’ Ciftci (0-1)
                          • 40’ Briggs (OG) (1-1)
                          • 41’ Cataldi (Ciftci) (1-2)
                          • 47’ Bamford (2-2)
                          • 50’ Ciftci (PK) (2-3)

Recap: The game between Millwall and Middlesbrough was a very entertaining one with a lot of goals and chances and some of the goals were pure wonder goals like the 2-1 goal by Cataldi that he scored with a screamer right from kick-off from 40 yards out.

MOTM: Nadir Ciftci: The Turkish striker had a great game in which he scored two and assisted to one and if the Middlesbrough goalkeeper hadn’t had such a great game he could have scored a few more.

Matchday 46: (Last of the season)

                          Millwall – Rotherham (3-0)
                          • Lingard (Martin) (1-0)
                          • Ciftci (Martin) (2-0)
                          • Ciftci (Cataldi) (3-0)

Recap: In this last game of the season it was the champions Millwall and the already relegated Rotherham United and with this in consideration it was no surprise that Millwall just cruised through the game and won it with 3-0.

MOTM: Nadir Ciftci: The winner of the golden boot in the championship ended the season on a high with him scoring two goals to put his goal tally at 30 goals this season.

End of the season Press Conference:

Q: How does it feel to have been promoted to the BPL?

A: It feels amazing! I have to say that I didn’t expect us to reach the automatic promotion places but I’m really proud of my team.

Q: You didn’t only reach the automatic promotion places you won the league in amazing fashion with the second placed team 47 POINTS! Behind you, you must be really proud of that achievement.

A: Well yes Of course I’m proud of my team for having such an amazing season but by how much we win the league isn’t really something that I put too much emphasis on instead it’s the fact that we stayed undefeated for the whole season that makes me most proud since it shows that even when it was clear that we would win the league we didn’t slow down which shows how good my players character is.

Q: The Millwall fans have been chanting that Millwall are the best team in the Championship ever after you picked more than the previous season record 106 points that Reading previously had. Are honours like that something that you or your team care about?

A: Well of course it’s always fun to break records and make the fans have something to be happy about but frankly not so much since both me and the players have our eyes set higher than getting championship records. For example I am much more proud and happy over us winning the Capital one cup and by doing that qualified for the Europa League.

Q: You have had some players this season that really have performed out of their skin in your like for example Top goal scorer Nacir Ciftci and the best goalkeeper in the league Lee Nicholls, What do you have to say about their performances?

A: First of all, Football is a team sport and neither Ciftci nor Nicholls would have been able to have such good seasons without their teammates performing as well as they have so I think it’s wrong to focus on the individual players but yes as you say they have been amazing but so has every player in our squad.

Q: Do you think that your squad have what it takes to be able to compete in both the BPL and the Europa League in the upcoming season?
A: Well I think that we have the foundation in the team but we might have to widen the squad a bit to be able to cope with competing on two fronts.

                          FA – Cup final:

                          Preview:

This years FA – Cup final is between Stoke City and Millwall. Millwall has previously played at Wembley two times this season against BPL giants Manchester City and Chelsea and have won both these games and if you also take into consideration that they still haven’t lost a single game this season out of 59 you have to say that Millwall are going in as slight favourites despite them playing a league below mid-table BPL side Stoke City.

                          Press Conference:

Q: How does it fell to be here at Wembley again this season for your second cup final?

A: It feels great I never expected that we would win one domestic cup and now we our only one game of winning both and ending our season undefeated.

Q: Considering your amazing season you are going in as slight favourites in this game despite you playing a league below Stoke at the moment, do you think that’f fair?

A: Yes, I do. When you have had such an amazing season like we have had with winning the league in amazing fashion and winning the capital one cup and beating several of the BPL giants on our way here you have to be considered favourites going in against a mid-table BPL side.

Result: Millwall – Stoke City: 2-0

Recap: It wasn’t a cup final that will be remembered for ages due to it frankly not being very entertaining game but the Millwall fans didn’t care about that at all. Thanks to the disciplined performance from all Millwall players they managed to stop pretty much all attacking play from Stoke and then scored the goals thanks to great counter attacking play. The Millwall fans stayed for hours after the game just signing and chanting the players and the coaches’ names.

MOTM: Shaun Williams: The Millwall central defender had a great game in which he dominated the Stoke central striker Mame Biram Diouf that didn’t even get a single shot away and he was also essential with his passing ability in starting our attacks.

                          Top Scorers
                          1. Rooney (Man Utd) – 4 Goals

                          3. Ciftci (Millwall) – 3 Goals

                          Top Assists:

                          3. Caballero (Man City) – 2 Clean Sheets

                          End of season review:

There really isn’t much to say about this season except that it went above all expectations and even hopes that we had going into the season, no one would have expected us to reach automatic promotion and definitively not go through the whole season undefeated and setting a new point record by crushing all opposition in the league.
Our performances in the two domestic cups were also completely unbelievable with us reaching the final in both by beating several of the BPL giants and then also winning both finals to win the cups and by that we also qualified for the Europa League in the upcoming season!
So all in all it couldn’t have gone any better!

                          Player of the season:

The player that has been the best in this amazing season is the Turkish striker Nacir Ciftci. He was the clubs most expensive signing going into the season with a price tag at £ 1 700 000 which at the time seemed like a lot of money for someone only playing in the Scottish league but the new manager assured everyone that he would be worth it and considering how this season have went with him scoring most goals in both the Capital one cup and the Championship in which he scored 11 goals more than the person in second place you have to say that he was right.
Ciftci was vital in Millwall making such an amazing season as they had an the Millwall fans will hope that he stays in the club for years to come.

                            CA Osasuna 2014-2015 Squad Review

                            Starting Eleven (4-3-3 Holding)
                            * = Youth Academy Player
                            ** = Player Growth Status
FORMAT= Position - Name (nationality) (overall + age) (growth)

                            GK - Asier Riesgo (Spain) (73 OVR 31yrs) (+2): 9/10
                            38 Appearances - 14 Clean Sheets
The vice captain really solidified himself in goal as he shoots to keep his starting spot going into La Liga. He's 31 years old already, but he still grew in overall this season and his performances back him up. I don't think we'll have the goalkeeper position as a priority in the upcoming transfer window. He has earned a chance to show himself at the top division.

                            RB - Javi Flaño (Spain) (69 OVR 30yrs) (+2): 7/10
                            38 Appearances
He's certainly not Elliott Hewitt, but he still had much to offer in attack. He wasn't one to send in crosses which is why he doesn't have any assists, but he was great in getting the plays started and supporting Sisi on the wing. He should still have his place in the starting eleven next season, but I'll be looking into younger players to prepare for when his time at the club ends.

                            RCB - Miguel Flaño (c) (Spain) (74 OVR 30yrs) (-1): 8/10
                            38 Appearances
The captain played a very important role in the squad this season and as far as overall goes he's still the best player we have. He didn't miss any matches, other than the B-Team matches, but for some reason he still went down 1 overall. He is still in my plans for next season, so I hope the game is nice to him in the offseason and he doesn't lose more stats.

                            LCB - Raul Albentosa (Spain) (71 OVR 26yrs) (+1): 7/10
                            20 Appearances
His height and strength are phenomenal. Whenever a cross was sent to his man I never had to worry. He would always win the aerial challenge. He was also very solid with standing tackles, but there were a few times when he would be caught out of position when I wasn't controlling him and it sometimes led to goals. His stats are still growing so I hope he can improve his positioning next season.

                            LB - Liassine Cadamuro (Algeria) (73 OVR 27yrs) (+0): 6/10
                            32 Appearances - 1 Assist
                            **On Loan From Real Sociedad
He was brought in on loan before I started the career so I didn't really have a choice with him. At the end of the season I began to slowly push the loanees out since they won't be here next season, and that's when I noticed how much of a difference Marcos Alonso makes compared to Cadamuro. Cadamuro was good at defending, naturally a CB, but in attack he left too much space between himself and the LW which only complicated things for the winger. He will not be signed on a permanent deal, not because he's non-Spanish, but because he does not fit my playing style at the moment.

                            CDM - Victor Camarasa (Spain) (72 OVR 21yrs) (+3): 8/10
                            40 Appearances - 1 Goal & 5 Assists
Camarasa started with the B team and then moved his way up to the first team. He has been very consistent even at CDM when his natural position is CM. He will most certainly not be replaced next season. He may be moved to a different role, but he will stay with the first team.

                            RCM - Oier (Spain) (70 OVR 29yrs) (+1): 8/10
                            38 Appearances - 5 Goals & 11 Assists
Oier really surprised me. He played the preseason with the B team and then moved up to the first team for the first match of the season. With him on the field the team finally clicked, and he kept his spot from then on. He's naturally a CDM, but I like him better at RCM since he's a box-to-box, and I prefer my CDMs staying in the defensive half. He only grew by one in overall and he's almost hitting his thirties. He was still our top assister so he will be staying with the club.

                            LCM - Roberto Torres (Spain) (70 OVR 26yrs) (+3): 9/10
                            37 Appearances - 12 Goals & 8 Assists
The CAM was our attacking mind in midfield and when he was on his game he was unstoppable. As we got closer to the end of the season his form became to drop. He was always in "good" form on the squad report menu, but from what I saw on the field he wasn't the same. I need him to get forward as much as possible and at the end of the season he stopped doing that. He was our second top assister and our third top scorer, although most of his goals came from the penalty spot. He is a homegrown player and a local, so he will be staying at the club next season.

                            RW - Sisi (Spain) (73 OVR 31yrs) (+0): 6/10
                            38 Appearances - 5 Goals & 7 Assists
He starts off as an extremely fast player, but EA was harsh on him and his physical stats were decreasing all season. Most of it may be due to his inconsistency. He could play an amazing match one week and then disappear completely from the next. For next season I may try him out at LB, since that's the position Osasuna have been using him IRL. I'll need a good RW to make that move though.

                            ST - Guillermo (Spain) (72 OVR 22yrs) (+4): 9/10
                            38 Appearances - 28 Goals & 6 Assists
What can I say other than he's our top scorer. He has been the biggest surprise for me in this career so far as I really didn't expect this young striker to be as good as he has been. He wasn't even my first choice target when I purchased him! He still managed to become my top striker and the league top scorer. There were a few matches where his markers overpowered him, but he has been growing extremely well so I'm sure he will be able to continue his form into La Liga as the season progresses.

                            LW - Miguel De Las Cuevas (Spain) (73 OVR 28yrs) (+1): 7/10
                            38 Appearances - 7 Goals & 6 Assists
The guy is talented, there's no doubt about that, I just haven't found the right way to use him. After the Barcelona match he came into his own and started contributing with goals and assists. Pretty much all of his goals and assists came in the second half of the season. IRL, Osasuna rotate him and Torres between CAM and LM since they're both CAMs and they can both play wide. For next season, I may switch them and see how they do. Torres has shown he has the attacking mindset and can assist goals, while Cuevas has superior dribbling and ball control skills. In the offseason the game already gave him a small decrease in physical stats. I hope it doesn't decrease any more than that so I can get to see him at LCM at the top of his abilities.

                            CA Osasuna B Team (4-1-3-2)
                            * = Youth Academy Player
                            ** = Player Growth Status
FORMAT= Position - Name (nationality) (overall + age) (growth)

                            GK - Roberto Santamaria (Spain) (67 OVR 30yrs) (+0): 7/10
                            14 Appearances - 9 Clean Sheets
The B team doesn't concede as many shots on goal than the first team, so Santamaria didn't have as many chances to show his talent. The goalkeeper is unhappy with his playing time though, so for next season I may look to bring in another goalkeeper for the B team.

                            RB - Iñigo De Frutos (Spain) (64 OVR 20yrs) (+1): 6/10
                            12 Appearances - 1 Assist
De Frutos is naturally a CB, but I had to play him at RB due to his constant unhappiness with his playing time. Much like Cadamuro, he wasn't able to contribute in attack but he did make the effort to push forward several times. I will look to loan him out next season, or play with three at the back so that he can be more comfortable.

                            RCB - Jon Echaide (c) (Spain) (68 OVR 27yrs) (+3): 8/10
                            14 Appearances
One of the main reasons why the B team had so many clean sheets was this guy. He developed into a real good captain and held the defense together. He will stay with the team for next season, but will play the same role.

                            LCB - Ignasi Miquel (Spain) (68 OVR 22yrs) (+2): 7/10
                            6 Appearances
He was brought in to play with the B team and he delivered. With his height he won most of his aerial battles and he had decent growth for the amount of matches played. If he continues to grow this way, he may become our starting centre back for the first team in the future.

                            LB - Marcos Alonso (Spain) (68 OVR 24yrs) (+3): 9/10
                            20 Appearances - 2 Goals
He struggled to adapt, but once he did he became an important player for the B team. He is great at overlapping and coming back to defend. He also has a good long shot which is always helpful. I'm still on the fence as to whether he will stay with the B team next season or be promoted.

                            CDM - Raoul Cedrick Loè (Cameroon) (72 OVR 26yrs) (+2): 7/10
                            26 Appearances - 2 Goals & 3 Assists
He has the best defensive stats in the whole team, but he's very slow. When he stays back he's very difficult to get past though. For the first leg against Barcelona I chose to use him at CDM and it paid off as we won that match. In the second leg I played Camarasa and we lost, just barely going through on aggregate. He spend the whole season with the "threatened" status due to Camarasa's signing, so depending on how his status is next season I may have to transfer him elsewhere.

                            RM - Jose David Ramirez (Mexico) (64 OVR 19yrs) (+1): 7/10
                            21 Appearances - 4 Goals & 1 Assists
The young Mexican only improved his mental stats in his 6 months with the club, but I still see a good future for him. Even with his low overall he made it look easy to dribble past defenders down the wing and even scored a few goals. He crosses the ball frequently, but usually only Manuel Onwu can finish them with a header. He also became a regular sub with the first team as his speed allowed us to play more attacking football. Next season he will play the same role.

                            CM - Mikel Merino (Spain) (64 OVR 18yrs) (+0): 7/10
                            16 Appearances - 2 Assists
Another surprise for me this season. This homegrown player really does play above his overall and was a great option to have. He defends well and controls the midfield. His only flaw is that he did not grow in stats at all. I may try to loan him out so that he can grow, but I don't think his growth would be significant. I'll most likely keep him in the same role next season and eventually have to sell him. EA did not give him a high enough potential to plan long term with him.

                            LM - Julian Luque (Spain) (66 OVR 23yrs) (+3): 7/10
                            42 Appearances - 4 Goals & 6 Assists
                            **On Loan From RCD Espanyol
He was a really good option to have from the bench and he also played really well with the B team. I have a $700k option to buy from Espanyol and with his growth this season he's now valued at $875k. His performances justify the purchase, so I'll try to activate the option to buy and see how it goes.

                            RS - Manuel Onwu (Spain) (65 OVR 27yrs) (+2): 8/10
                            33 Appearances - 14 Goals & 6 Assists
He's fast, and great in the air. He was our second top scorer this season and when he was out due to injury you could tell. He was also a regular sub with the first team and whether it was in a central or wide role he usually made a difference. I'll try to keep him with the team next season, but with Guillermo on the roster his chances of first team football are slim.

                            LS - Jose Garcia (Spain) (60 OVR 18yrs) (+1): 8/10
                            23 Appearances - 7 Goals & 3 Assists
Even at his low height he was still able to knock in quite a few headers and he adjusted to the striker position really well, naturally being a CAM. The only thing that disappointed me was his growth. He's 18 years old and usually finished matches with high ratings, but his stats don't reflect it. I hope to keep him with the team, but if things start to get difficult I might have to loan him out and bring in an actual striker for the B team.

                            LM - Cedrick (DR Congo) (70 OVR 23yrs) (+1): 6/10
                            19 Appearances - 2 Assists
                            **On Loan From Real Betis
He was brought in on loan before I started the career. With Ramirez's arrival and De Frutos' complaints, his playing time diminished. He was still a good player to have on the bench due to his exceptional speed, but I will not be bringing him back next season.

                            CF - Karim Ansarifard (Iran) (66 OVR 25yrs) (+0): 5/10
                            14 Appearances - 4 Goals & 1 Assist
He missed the last few months of the season due to an ACL injury, but before then he wasn't on good enough form anyway. He was unhappy with his playing time before his injury, so I'll try to transfer him next season.

                            CM - Maikel Mesa (Spain) (64 OVR 23yrs) (+3): N/A
                            7 Appearances - 1 Assist
I didn't see enough of him to make accurate judgement.

                            ST - Federico Palacios (Spain) (61 OVR 20yrs) (+2): 7/10
                            8 Appearances - 1 Goal & 2 Assists
He was actually quite good despite his low overall. He was only at the club for about 5 months though so I wasn't able to see much of him. I will try to bring him back on loan next season but this time with an option to buy.

                            CB - Unai Garcia (Spain) (61 OVR 22yrs) (+0): N/A
                            3 Appearances
He started out as the RB for the B team since it is listed as his secondary position, but he tore a muscle early on and then De Frutos' complaints prevented him from seeing much time on the field. Both of them will be loan listed.

I renewed his contract so that he will come back for next season, but I will transfer list him so I may reinvest the money in another team.

                            Conclusion
For next season I will try to bring in a CDM as a priority. I have one in mind that I tried to sign on a pre-contract agreement last season, but he refused to sign with a team from Liga Adelante. Now that I'm in La Liga I will try again. I'll also be scouting for young Right Backs. I have one in mind that was unfairly stolen from me, so I may try to sign him again too since he will have more playing time with us. Other than that, I'll need a back up goalkeeper and possibly a RW/RM depending on how good my pre contract signing Ferreiro is once I get to his full stats next season. There is one winger I would like to bring in since he is always sold every time I read a career on his team in the forum, but I'm sure he will be way out of my budget's reach.

                            Any feedback is appreciated!
                            Thanks For Reading!

Koo got the ball to the left of the goal and sent in a cross picking out the man that Tah was meant to be marking in Baumgartlinger for the easy header. Buchtmann sent ina corner that was headed by Michal Mak but saved by the keeper. After the ball ping ponged around for a bit, Çiftçi finally finished it to equalize just before half. Nedelev sprinted past Buballa on a back post run and tracked the ball down and volleyed it to the right post for the winner.

FC St. Pauli 3 - VFL Wolfsburg 3

Werner received the ball on the left wing and attacked the middle before firing a shot to the right post to score just 4 minutes into his St. Pauli career. Lacazette lost Tah in the box and was able to head home a cross to equalize. Arnold got the ball in the middle of the box and laid it off quickly to Vierinha on the back post for the easy goal to take the lead. Yoell van Nieff then stepped up and converted a penalty after Khedira was brought down in the box. Van Nieff then went to clear a cross but hit directly to Malanda's feet on the back post and he finished easily to take the lead. Khedira dribbled towards the middle of the box before threading it through to Çiftçi up the middle for the equalizer in the 90th minute.

Hertha BSC 2 - FC St. Pauli 2
                              BSC - Kalou 45', Plattenhardt 64
                              STP - Michal Mak 4', Çiftçi 60'
                              MOTM: Gatt

Çiftçi ran onto the ball on the left wing and sent a cross into the box that Michal Mak was able to volley out of the air for the opening goal. Buballa foolishly kept Kalou onside and he struck the ball past the keeper to equalize just before half. Werner played Çiftçi through up the middle and he struck it first time off the post but followed the rebound and tapped in it for the lead. Plattenhardt cut the ball to his right to avoid Sobiech's sliding challenge and then placed the ball to the top left corner to secure the draw.

                              FC St. Pauli 5 - Hannover 2
                              STP - Rubin 20', 26', 30', Çiftçi 38', 90'

                              MOTM: Rubin

Storm fought past two defenders on the left side of the goal before playing it across to Rubin to tap in on the back post. Yoell van Nieff played Michal Mak down the right wing who took a shot off the post that Rubin was able to follow up and find the net. Çiftçi used his pace to get past the defense and go in on goal before taking a shot that was kept out by the keeper but fell right to Rubin for the sliding tap in. Gießelmann played a perfect ball to Çiftçi on the left side of the goal for a first time strike to the right post. Stindl attacked all the way to the end line left of the goal and played the ball back to the top of the box for Joselu to finish just before half. Pander then added one of his own on the left side of the box that went off the keeper's hands and in. The ball was played way ahead to Çiftçi on the counter and he took advantage and calmly beat the keeper.

St. Pauli Player of the Month

                              Nadir Çiftçi

Nadir Çiftçi shone in the opening month of the new season, scoring in all 4 matches. His final tally of 5 goals salvaged a couple points for St. Pauli this month.

                              Press Conference
Q: A new season had you start off to mixed results. There were a lot of positive and negatives to be seen. How do you feel about the first month of this new season?

A: I think your description is a fairly accurate one. There was some good, and some bad. Unfortunately the bad was the same thing we've been struggling with going back into last season, and that is the defense. However, we have brought in some new players on that back line this season, and some transition time is to be expected with that. It will be a priority moving forward, but I expect it to get better as we get comfortable back there.

Q: While the defense has struggled, your attack has been in great form. What can you say about your scoring in the first month of play?

A: I think we owe a lot of the early success to the play of Nadir Çiftçi. He has been in fantastic form, and scored in each match of this first month. A lot of what we do is going through him right now, and if he were to go down it would alter our game plan significantly. We are lucky to have a player of his quality with us.

Q: With the first month in the books, and based on your 8th place finish of last season, what would you say is a reasonable goal for your squad this season?

A: It would be disappointing to finish anywhere outside of the top 6 this year. We were lucky enough to qualify for the Europa League through other means, but this is a club I want to consistently be playing in European competitions. The only way to guarantee that is to find a way to finish in the top 6 each year. That will be our new goal, and I see no reason as to why we shouldn't be able to.

@Cruzerr You seem to be doing well. Loving the write-ups, great work!

@Chico My man. Well done on winning the league by a healthy margin. I like the 'no offence' bit when you were criticising the league directors! Interested to see how you handle the summer window. I'm curious as to who these mystery targets are!

@Jamie Looks like you're getting the boys back on track. Aarons is quickly developing into an impact player for you.

@Keano Excellent spot to be at halfway through the season. It should be a fantastic run for the title with Arsenal and Chelsea. I'm interested to see if you add anyone in January considering where you are in the league and Europe.

@Falaph I'm convinced you're playing on Amateur! How did you manage to drop just 8 points in the entire season?!

@Tex Not the best of starts, nor the worst. It's a good platform to build on, especially since you're bringing some new boys into the side.
