Question 2. Yes, hell yes. Sometimes it's terrible and sometimes it's better but it still lags a lot. Fix your game, EA.

Who's up for a Fifa 16 wishlist? This is my list for career mode:

    - Training

A possibility to train your players and work on their playing style and stats. You could change their position and improve their passing, for example.

    -In-depth contracts

    Buy-out clauses, bonuses etc.

    - Better press conferences

Real questions and cut scenes like in NBA

    - Better interaction with players

    Again, like in NBA.

    - Youth squads and reserve squads

Like it says above, a possibility to have reserve squads.

    - Stadium upgrades

At least on the generic stadiums. It's annoying when you play in the PL with a stadium which has a capacity of 10,000.

    - Sponsor deals and ticket prices

Possibility to negotiate for money with sponsors and a possibility to raise ticket prices like in old Fifas.

    - More scoutable countries

    - More leagues and at at least the CL teams

    - Licenses for the Champions League and the Europa League

That's everything that comes to my mind right now. If you have any wishes go ahead and tell them.
The CL and Europa licenses are owned by the PES developers, I forget who that is right now. And that is the only thing PES has going for it right so I don't know if they will allow EA to purchase that exclusive license.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I'm on PS4 and the only time I've seen my menus lag was when the next match is in the Europa League. You know how in the first menu you have the league table on the bottom right corner? I believe that is what causes it to lag as it has to load the Europa league group. It never happens when the upcoming match is in the league or cup, only when it is Europa. I played FIFA 14 on PS3 and that was lag galore, so I don't mind that little lag in a Europa week that much especially since I know it'll go away.

I think Konami makes PES. They have the rights to the Champions, Europa, and also the Libertadores which is why FIFA has to make generic names. EA slacks off for anything, even to negotiate licenses.

Yep, Konami. I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. And Konami also got the exclusive license for the Brazilian league.

          TOON TO THE TOP
          SEASON 3
          PS4

          FA Cup Round 4 Replay

          Newcastle 4-1 Bournemouth
          Bony 22
          Gosling 24
          Bony 39
          Anita 64
          Anita 76

          Simmed.

          Match 24

          Swansea 0-2 Newcastle
          Bony 17
          Perez 65 (PEN)

We took the long trip down to Wales hoping to regain some form in the league, and we started off brightly, Bony holding off his man before turning and firing into the bottom corner against his former club. The Ivorian didn't celebrate as a sign of respect for the club that brought him to the forefront. Perez then made it 2 from the penalty spot, Barkley dragged to the ground to win the penalty. Swansea rarely threatened and it was an easy win for us in the end.

          Match 25

          West Brom 0-1 Newcastle
          Perez 63
The only goal of the game at the Hawthorns came through Enzo Perez who fired in hard and low from the edge of the box to find the back of the net in what was a relatively dull game.

          Match 26

          Newcastle 0-3 Manchester City
          Negredo 13
          Negredo 34
          Fernandinho 45

This match went badly. Medel and Perez had gone on international duty and I had not been given notice of these unscheduled matches. Without them, the team felt so much worse, we were lacking the rock hard tackler and the excellent playmaker. Negredo opened the scoring, heading in from a good cross before he was able to fire in on the rebound to double the lead. Fernandinho made it 3 just before half time, smashing into the bottom corner from 20 yards. The second half had a better display from us, but not good enough to come back into the game.

Champions League Last 16 Leg 1

          Real Madrid 2-1 Newcastle
          Modric 54
          Yanga-M'Biwa 58
          Ronaldo 82

Just our luck. To win our group, only to get drawn against Real Madrid in the next round. Modric opened the scoring for Los Blancos, tapping in from close range after Bale destroyed Clichy down the wing. We equalised soon after, Yanga-M'Biwa heading in from a well placed corner to get us a crucial away goal. Ronaldo won the leg for Real late on, finding the bottom corner after some good play between him and Kroos. We played well and I am confident we can beat them at St. James' Park.

          FA Cup Round 5

          Newcastle 4-0 Aston Villa
          Ronaldinho 19 (PEN)
          Riviere 42
          Coloccini 45
          Ronaldinho 74

          Simmed.

          Match 27

          Sunderland 2-4 Newcastle
          Bony 43
          Ayoze 51
          Delph 62
          Rodwell 66
          Rodwell 76
          Perez 90 (PEN)

The Tynewear derby, one of the most important games of the season, and what a game it was. Bony opened the scoring just before half time, flicking it past his man before firing into the bottom corner. At half time, I made 2 substitutes, bringing on Ayoze and Delph to rest Bony and Barkley for the League Cup final. Ayoze made an immediate impact, pacing down the wing before cutting inside and firing it through the keepers' legs from a tight angle. Delph then scored to make it 3, once again beating Pantillimon at the near post, powerfully blasting into the top corner. Rodwell pulled one back excellently soon after, a great one two to move into space before finding the top corner with pin point accuracy from 25 yards. He then put Sunderland back in the game, heading in on the rebound of his own shot that Begovic struggled to deal with. However, Altidore got sent off for a rash tackle and that meant Sunderland failed to threaten. In the last minute, Ayoze was brought down and Enzo Perez stepped up to fire in from the penalty spot.

          League Cup Final

          Newcastle 2-0 West Ham
          Kampl 14
          Perez 30 (PEN)

The League Cup final, our second in as many seasons. The match at Wembley got off to a great start, Kampl blazing down the wing before cutting inside to smash it goal-wards. The keeper got 2 hands to it but failed to save the powerful effort. Perez then scored a penalty, however it was a dubious call, Bony going down extremely easily. The rest of the match was quite dull, Barkley headed wide a couple of times and Valencia forced a good save. Our second league cup trophy!

Sorrryyy!!! I forgot the table again!

Guess I'll need to experiment a bit with sliders.

@Moose can you post your slider set when you get some time?
Like Keano said, I've been using the OS Community Sliders from the EA Sports FIFA forum, with some minor alterations from what they have posted there. I will actually PM you the exact sliders I'm using, and I can send them also to anyone who wants to see them. Really, if anyone wants to see them just let me know and I can post them in this forum. They are full-manual in terms of controls and I'm playing with 15 minute halves on World Class at the moment, because I think it plays more realistically than Legendary.

The sliders do a great job of being both challenging and giving you the best representation of what you see on the weekends in terms of realistic play style, so hopefully you give them a go.

It was better than I imagined! It was my first time out of the country. Came back with a Tico jersey I must admit! Was up there to be in a buddy of mine's wedding and it was a pretty amazing vacation for me and my fiance.

                        FC St. Pauli
                        FIFA 15 - Season 3

                        Die Freibeuter der Liga

                        October 2016

Bayer Leverkusen 2 - FC St. Pauli 3
                        B04 - Kruse 35', 49'
                        STP - Bacuna 37' (Pen), Storm 78', Werner 90'
                        MOTM: Werner

Kruse took a touch left around his defender and hit a shot that brushed off the near post and in. Rubin was pulled down from behind in front of goal and Bacuna stepped up and converted the penalty. Kruse added another with a header after Tah positioned himself poorly. Werner played Storm through to the right side of the goal who then cut it back around the defense and firing a left footed shot to the left side of the goal. Werner dribbled in from the left wing, beating 3 different defenders, and fired a shot to the bottom right post to win the match.

                        World Cup Qualifying
                        Denmark 2 - Czech Republic 2
                        DEN - Eriksen 32', Schone 80' (Pen)
                        CZE - Necid 18', Moravek 76'
                        MOTM: Cech

Necid received the ball just outside the box and used two quick touches to get around the defender and fire to the left post. Eriksen equalized with a great run up the middle and a first time strike to the top right corner. Krejci crossed it from the left side of the box to Moravek's head. It went wide and Darida tracked it down just in time to cross it back in for Moravek to head home this time. Schone converted from the penalty spot soon after to force the draw.

                        World Cup Qualifying
                        Czech Republic 3 - Ireland 1
                        CZE - Kolar 68', 89', Horava 80'
                        IRE - Long 27'
                        MOTM: Kolar

Long opened the scoring after following up McGeady's shot off the post. Selassie found Vydra running on the right side of the box who then laid it off to Kolar for the tap in just in front of goal. After a corner, the ball fell to Horava's feet at the top of the box and he fired it to the bottom left corner. With little time left Selassie attacked the right side of the box to draw the defense and laid it off between two defenders for Kolar to place to the bottom right corner.

FC St. Pauli 0 - Hamburger SV 0
                        MOTM: Adler

A disappointing draw at home for St. Pauli as they were the better team all match. They out-shot Hamburger SV 11-5 with 8 on target. In the end, a lot of missed chances came back to haunt them. Hamburger SV's keeper takes home the MOTM honors in an otherwise unexciting draw.

                        Europa League Group Stages
FC St. Pauli 2 - Aalborg BK 1
                        STP - Ahlmann 47' (OG), Werner 53'
                        AaB - Wurtz 36'
                        MOTM: Larsen

Wurtz was able open with a header on a corner just as the keeper was about to punch it away. Khedira get himself free to the right side of the goal and fired back across to the far post, but the defender was able to get a foot on it, but only to tip it into his own goal. Werner played the ball to Khedira on the right side of the box who then crossed it back in for Werner to head perfectly into the top right corner for the winning goal.

FC Koln 3 - FC St. Pauli 1
                        KOE - Matuschyk 7', Risse 37' (Pen), Ujah 55'
                        STP - van Nieff 16'
                        MOTM: Matuschyk

A great bit of passing led to Matuschyk getting the ball in front of goal and hitting it first time to the bottom right corner. Van Nieff then answered back with a beautiful free kick from 25 yards out that froze the keeper and settled in the top right corner. Risse then converted a penalty after Hallberg brought the attacker down in the box. Ujah then had the ball taken away by Tah before inexplicably getting away with tripping him to win the ball back and firing past the keeper.

                        Deutscher Pokal
                        Braunschweig 3 (1) - FC St. Pauli 3 (3)
                        EBS - Raman 8', 80', Khelifi 113'
STP - Wils 38', Mateusz Mak 42', Henn 103' (OG)
                        MOTM: Raman

Raman opened up with a great strike from the top right side of the box into the top left corner. Wils showed some good skill to get past the defender and hit a left footed shot to the top right corner for a goal in his senior debut. Wils then got the the left side of the goal once again, sending a cross this time that Mateusz Mak was able to slide and tap in. Raman equalized late in the match with a right footed shot into the top right corner. Michal Mak attacked to the left side of the goal and went to cross it across the goal, but it was deflected by a defender back into the goal for an own goal. Khelifi and Stanek raced to the ball and Khelifi barely beat him by sliding and directing it past Stanek and into the empty net. Stanek vindicated himself in the penalty shootout saving 3 of the 4 shots to secure the win.

                        1899 Hoffenheim 0 - FC St. Pauli 3
                        STP - Michal Mak 5', Çiftçi 13', Werner 60'
                        MOTM: Rakovsky

Michal Mak used his speed to get around the defense on the right side of the goal and fire a hard shot past the keeper. Çiftçi got the ball just past midfield and spun around one defender before using a quick touch to get around another defender to the right and go through on goal to hit it back to the left post. Michal Mak used some nice skill to dribble in from the right wing and pick out Werner on the back post for an easy header.

St. Pauli Player of the Month

                        Timo Werner

The newest man at the club showed why St. Pauli forked over a club record transfer fee. Scoring 3 goals, and getting involved the build up for several good chances this month, Werner showed how dynamic of a player he can be. The future is bright for this player at St. Pauli, and months like this will be expected to become the norm for him.

                        Press Conference
Q: You had a solid month outside of the game against FC Koln, but you managed to move yourself up to 5th in the table. How happy are you to move into those qualifying spots for the Europa League?

A: I'm ecstatic to be there, but we were there at several points last season and finished in 8th. This is a good start since we obviously have to be good enough to get there at some point, but it needs to be maintained. I am happy with the improvement so far though.

Q: A good win against Aalborg BK has you ahead of FC Twente on goal differential for second in your group. You still have to play each club one more time to finish out the group stages. How important is it for you to advance to the knockout stages?

A: It is absolutely vital in many aspects. The financial part is obvious in what it can do for the club in terms of improving the squad or the youth academy. The bigger importance though is more of a psychological one. I feel we are good enough to be competing at a high level in this competition, and to move past the group stages will do lot for the confidence in the players to believe the same.

Q: You had a tough match against lower division Braunschweig to advance in the Deutscher Pokal. Were you surprised that the match had to come down to penalties before being decided?

A: I will admit that I was a little surprised. We can't afford to take anyone for granted. Look at us last season, that was proof anything can happen in this competition. I think this will be a good wake up call to take every match seriously going forward though. Luckily Stanek was unbelievable in the penalty shootout and saved three of their attempts. I don't think something like this will happen again though.

                          Dagenham '18-19 Season
                          October Update

Champions League - Group State, Match 2
                          Marseille - Dagenham (1-1)
                          Ilesanmi 12' (Elito)
                          Mendy 29'

Recap: The lads without Reyna are really starting to get something going on but Marseille's goalkeeper, Steve Mandanda, was outstanding gathering 10 saves. Luckily for the Daggers Galatasaray also managed to get a draw vs Bayern so this didn't hurt too bad.

                          League Match 7
                          Dagenham - Crystal Palace (3-2)
                          Williams 26'
                          Locadia 45' (Victor Andrade)
                          Ward 52'
                          Monzon 69' (P)
                          Nimely 72'

Recap: Dagenham's trend of struggling against opponents from the Championship continues though fortunately they were able to get a victory in this one. The Daggers twice came from behind, turning the game around with a two-goal sequence in a three-minute span midway through the second half. Alex Nimely continues to come up big for the Daggers, making his contract situation something to follow.

                          League Match 8
                          Tottenham - Dagenham (1-1)
                          Elito 45'
                          Bale 81'

Recap: The Spurs continue to be a thorn on Dagenham's side. They pressure the ball like no other team and their combination of skill and speed creates a lot of problems for the Daggers, who seemed to be on their way to an important victory before Bale broke free on a counterattack, leaving all the defenders behind him and easily converting against an exposed Leali. The Italian goalkeeper, who isn't having a very good season, earned MOTM honors in a game where the Spurs outshot the Daggers 15-8 (8-4 on goal).

                          League Match 9
                          Dagenham - Chelsea (0-0)

Recap: It would be difficult for the Daggers to be upset with this result given that they had a very tough time getting any shots off. Instead they will get credit for managing to earn a point against the league leaders by keeping possession for 63% of the game.

Champions League - Group State, Match 3
                          Dagenham - Galatasaray SK (2-0)
                          Wilkinson 25' (Vilna)
                          Nimely 90' (Victor Andrade)

Recap: Dagenham finally gets on the winning column in the group stage by thoroughly outplaying the visitors from Turkey, who didn't even get a chance to get a shot off. Dagenham meanwhile scored twice on 14 shots (9 on goal) while keeping possession for 59% of the game.

                          League Match 10
                          Everton - Dagenham (1-3)
                          Barkley 10'
                          Nimely 22 (Victor Andrade)
                          Victor Andrade 53' (Nimely)
                          Molinaro 90+' Elito)

Recap: Another come-from-behind win by the Daggers in a game Alex Nimely got the start over the stamina-starved Jurgen Locadia. Nimely continues to shine whenever he's put on the pitch (which is quite often even if as a sub) but appears to have rejected a recent contract extension from the team.

Capital One Cup - Round of 16
                          Dagenham - Arsenal (2-1)
                          Wilkinson 32' (Victor Andrade)
                          Locadia 47' (Elito)

                          Traore 81'

Recap: The Daggers once again defeat the Gunners with a superior performance in all but the last 10 minutes of the game. Dagenham opened up the score on a scrappy counter attack that saw Luke Wilkinson run box to box, never breaking pace, and receiving a perfect pass from Victor Andrade in the middle of the box to one-time it home. They were unable to add to their lead until the beginning of the second half when Elito streamed down the left wing and crossed a perfect ball to Locadia's head for the 2-0. The Daggers managed the game from there but Arsenal got on a groove towards the end resulting on Traore's goal. That's all they would be able to add to the score, and Dagenham moves on to Quarter Finals.

                          4. Galatasaray SK - 2pts

After losing half of their games last month Dagenham was very happy to get through October undefeated. They moved up 3 spots in the PL standings although they failed to gain (but also didn't lose) any ground on the league leader. However, they did jump two spots in their Champions League group to position themselves for qualification to the elimination rounds in the second set of games in the group. They will probably have to face Bayern without Yordy Reyna but the Peruvian star should be back for the games against Galatasaray and Marseille. The Daggers' next opponent in the Capital One Cup will be Nott'm Forest. It's taken a while but the starters are really settling in with John Jones as part of the group, ironically just in time for Reyna to come back to the lineup. As mentioned in the recaps, whereas at the beginning of the season Nimely was a target for sale - going as far as being offered in transfer negotiations, the Englishman has now become a key member of the squad and the club has decided to offer him a contract extension since he's set to become a free agent at the end of this season and could agree to a pre-contract in the upcoming winter transfer window. Unfortunately Nimely has rejected the club's offer and it'll remain to be seen whether the two sides come to an agreement or if the relationship is damaged beyond repair.

In academy news the first reports from our scouts in Venezuela, Croatia, and Netherlands have come in and additions have been made to the group. Let's take a look at the youth squad:
                          • Fernando Romero (LW, 63-67 OVR, 88-94 POT): 16-year old from Uruguay who is undoubtedly our top prospect at the moment. There's a chance he will be played at striker in which case he could contribute as early as this season, but he'd probably benefit more from a full season in the academy.
                          • Victor Soriano (GK, 51-65, 71-93)*: 15-year old from Venezuela who is highly regarded and has a chance to become a special youngster in the PL if he sticks in the academy for a couple of seasons.
                          • Damiano Janse (DEF/MID, 38-48, 71-91)*: 15-year old from Netherlands who early on projects to be a defensive midfielder.
                          • Dean Murphy (LM, 64-68, 81-87): 17-year old from Ireland who projects as a complete midfielder with excellent ball control. Technically gifted.
                          • Nathan Kenny (RM, 63-67, 83-89): 17-year old from Ireland also described as technically gifted and also projecting as a complete midfielder.
                          • Sean Foran (LM, 62-66, 83-89): 15-year old from Ireland who is the fastest out of all the Irishmen in the academy. Our midfield could be 75% Irish in the near future.
                          • Esteban Navarro (DEF/MID, 43-55, 70-90)*: 15-year old from Venezuela who is also expected to stick around one of the midfield positions.
                          • Fabrice Mengual (RM, 56-60 78-84): 16-year old playmaker from France who actually projects as more of a CAM.
                          • Pablo Escobar (CAM, 60-64, 74-80): 17-year old from Venezuela who likely won't improve much more this season unless he stays in the academy until May.
                          • Matthieu Maupay (CAM, 57-61, 74-80)*: 16-year old from France finally settled in at a position. Described as an attacker.
                          • Ciaran Kavanagh (CM, 58-62, 72-78): 16-year old from Ireland who also projects as a technically-gifted CAM.
                          • Magnus Gerndt (RW, 53-57, 72-78): 17-year old from Sweden who may not progress much more in the academy unless he remains there for another full season. It's possible he may be promoted in hopes he'll receive a loan call this upcoming winter.
                          • Cesar Miguel (CDM, 52-56, 72-78): 16-year old from Venezuela who is defensive minded. He needs another season in the academy.

                          * Denotes recent addition to the academy.

                          Perdomo 85' (Escobar)

Comments: A 2-game trip to the African nation produced mixed results after Richard Paez mixed in a different lineup for the first game. As feared, Perdomo's absence from the first game was as noticeable as his presence in the second game. Also of note is that a kid from Dagenham's academy, Pablo Escobar, made his first contribution to the score box with an assist in the last game. He hasn't been too impressive in the limited minutes he's seen on the pitch, he's 17 after all, but he's shown some flashes of being a significant contributor to the national team in the future.

                          Opponents in November:

@Jamie Not having Enzo really did hurt you. Just goes to show you that the most important players are always the ones who feed the scorers, not the scorers themselves. Unless the scorer is Suarez or Messi.

@Moose I'd really appreciate if you could post them up here. I'm not too thrilled with the stock set on the Community Sliders thread, so I'd love to see what tweaks you've made and give it a try.

@Tex Hope you had a great time in CR. I've heard so many great things about the place. Glad to see St. Pauli in touching distance of the top four. That big win against Bayer really put you in a great position heading into the next 5 or 6 games. You could potentially overtake them and open up a healthy lead, too.

@Rabbit Much better showing with Dagenham. You're just 3 points off that coveted fifth spot, and a bit of continued consistency will have its rewards. Good luck going on from here.

From what I understand (and I may be wrong), they can't negotiate the licences until expiry. Konami sealed the rights when FIFA wasn't as big as it is now i.e. before FUT took off. That's why it hasn't happened yet, but FIFA 16 or 17 should carry those licences.

                              Summer '15 Transfer Special

                              Departures

Jeremy Helan was the first casualty of my culling process. I sanctioned his transfer to Blackburn Rovers for just £425k, and while that was considerably less than his actual value, I was more concerned about getting unhappy players off the wage bill. We also allowed Glenn Loovens to join Real Zaragoza in Spain for just £250k. They'd just been promoted to the first division, so they needed bodies in the squad, and Glenn hadn't played for us in months. Adthe Nuhiu and Gary Madine both joined Burnley for a joint fee of £1.2 million, while Kieran Lee sealed a deadline day move to Birmingham City for £700k. I wanted to offload Chris Maguire and Jacques Maghoma as well, but there were no takers despite the club's willingness to let them go on the cheap. They'll both remain with the squad. No doubt that Chris will complain at the first possible chance, which is why I have put him with the reserves. I expect Jacques to train with the first team and behave. He'll have limited role until we find him a new club later in January.

                              Arrivals

Gary Mackay-Steven signed on a free transfer from Dundee United. We really have a gem in this lad. He can dribble like a wizard, and he's not a bad shot. I don't see him organising play or creating openings for others. He's a very direct player, a lot like one Eden Hazard. I can see him picking up a few goals and assists, but his main task will be to break down defensive teams that don't seem like conceding any space.

We also got Fabian Delph on a free after he left Aston Villa last month. He's extremely athletic and agile for a central midfielder, and he's got the right combination of pace and technical skill. The only downside I can see are his M/H work rates, because he would be a fantastic H/H box-to-box midfielder. I'll be playing him either at the base of midfield or behind the number 10, but I can also see him at left back in a pinch.

We loaned Diafra Sakho from West Ham because we needed a third striker in our first team. Sakho scored well over 10 goals for West Ham last season, and I think he can do a good job for us. Given the competition for places at his parent club, who bought Alexander Kerzhakov to supplement Enner Valencia, Mauro Zarate, Andy Carroll and Modibo Maiga, it was a brilliant opportunity for both us and the player.

Gael Bigirimana was with us last season, and he was so poorly rated by Newcastle that we got him for just £250k, which is the only money we spent this window! He has a fantastic range of assets ranging from stamina and vision to passing and defending. Gael will only improve with time, and I hope to see him one day play for England while with us.

I still needed to fill my reserves with players I could call on without getting a message every week about how they're unsatisfied with their limited playing time. At this time, our academy is not yet ready to fulfill that role, so I had to turn to the kindness of my colleagues. One call to Jose Mourinho at Chelsea got us Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jeremie Boga and Todd Kane on loan. Ben Amos came to us courtesy of Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, and Arsene Wenger offered us Benik Afobe for the season.

There were some big contract dealings at the start of the season. Stevie May was bumped up from £15k per week to £25k as a reward for his 14 goals last season, while Caolan Lavery got a raise from £5k per week to £15k after a scintillating start to life in the Premier League. Jack Stobbs has been given a chance to prove himself, having been kept with the squad rather than loaned out. He'll be given opportunities throughout the season, and a call on whether or not to extend his contract will be made at the appropriate time. Sam Hutchinson is also down to the last 12 months of his existing deal, which we will try to extend before the end of the calendar year.

EDIT: I was given £6 million in additional funds, bringing my initial total up to £7.8 million. However, I have to finish mid-table and make a cup QF. I go into September with £5.6 million and £36k in wages, which I plan to utilise in January once everyone has had a chance to show me what they can do at PL level.

Im gonna say this right now I HATE the Bundesliga 2 in Fifa 15. It reminds me of the Dutch league in the way that you have your top 3-4 teams then you have a big gap between 4-bottom of the table. It just does not seem realistic to me but You guys voted for 1860 Munich so I'm gonna deal with it. Hopefully I dont screw this up like I did with my "Catania" CM
