So I started up the Newcastle Career earlier on today and my first transfers here were the two guys I hoped to get in Zakaria Bakkali and Nathaniel Chalobah. I put Bakkali right in the starting XI to get him to develop and I believe he can play first-team football here right away. I loaned out Chalobah so he can also develop and along with a few other young players.

I simmed the friendlies and in one of the games, Krul got injured and is out for the next 4 months. Yanga-Mbiwa also got injured and he was out for a few weeks too. I played 6 games today lol and we've won a few, lost maybe two and drawn two. I'm only at the end of September but hoping to get Ross Barkley in January. Kind of regret the Chalobah signing since I kind of want Barkley more so I might end up selling him.

so i made it to the aperura finals and have 5m transfer budget and 60k wadge budget, the window just opened...

what are suggestions on a CM/CDM young or old that i should go after

thinking about Will Hughes from Derby or Alfred Duncan from AC Milan, Goretzka from Schalke.. maybe a move for Pirlo.

So I have career mode ADD so what I did was to create my own team and put them in football league 2 in England. Not only did I do that but then I took all the teams from the rest of the world and put them on England. It makes for a very fun and quite difficult career mode. So far I'm only in my first season but it's deff gong to be challenging to win and get promoted to the EPL. I'm currently undefeated right now but that task is going to be difficult to manta in with AEK Athens undefeated in first and then independiates undefeated behind me along with other teams it's deff quite fun

A quick update on my Everton career mode. I continued my impressive run of Premier League games without a loss by drawing 1-1 at home to United. This was swiftly followed by away to Sunderland, where two late goals from Lukaku and Afobe secured me all 3 points. Next was an FA Cup game, at home to... United. Yup, again. I rested the majority of my players (aside from Chamberlain and Lukaku) and entertained United in a high-scoring game. 3-0 up inside 45 minutes, I conceded a very late 1st half goal. As soon as the second half started, United had scored once more to make it 3-2. I made it 4-2 with 20 minutes to go, and in the 90th minute United scored once more to break down my two goal cushion. Amazingly, I also scored with the last kick of the game to make it 5-3 and win. 3 days later, we were at home to Atletico Madrid for the second leg of the Champions League inal 16. Losing the first leg 1-0, I knew we had to score at least once to progress to the next round. Luckily, 2 goals either side of half time from Naismith secured a 2-0 victory and progression to the Quarter Finals (one of my board objectives fulfilled). The next game was at home to QPR, which I simmed and won 2-1. And finally, I began the first leg of my Champions League quarter final, at home to... United. Jesus christ United. A 1-0 win was all we could make, meaning it would be a nervy game in the reverse fixture.

Anybody else having problems with Chamberlain, Varane and Barkley not growing?

Ive been playing Football Manager for what seems my whole life so 90% of my scouting knowledge comes from that but yeah my chelsea team is perfect all ive done is add lewandowski loll

Objective: Make A Run For The Playoffs
Record: 13/5/4 1st place in Apertura Standings

Here is a quick backdrop. Added 18 teams from MLS to Chile League, kept Chivas & San Jose in MLS, added Orlando City to Chile.

Added the top Chili teams into the Columbian league, replacing lower level sides to MLS.

Wanted to Create the best set up for the South American Champions Cup and include MLS sides.

3 teams from MLS, 3 from Columbia, 4 from Brasil, 4 from Argentina, 2 from Mexico

Orlando City Advances to Face LA Galaxy in Finals
After losing at Seattle in the semis 3-2, we were able to bounce back in the 2nd leg at home and win 2-1, advancing by higher seed tie breaker (#1).

We will face 3rd place LA Galaxy in the finals for a chance to qualify for the South American Champions League

in a game we should have probably won, we will head back to LA in a 4 weeks for the final 90 minutes, all level.

Oztunali from Bayer Leverkusen and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Bayern Munich were two of my favorite young CM/CDM players in my first manager career. I preferred Hojbjerg because he's a rock in the midfield. He developed some great passing and long shot abilities on my squad, but both should be affordable on your budget.

For those of you playing a manager CM with a low/mid-level club, are you finding seasons 2-4 to be the toughest? It seems like if you do well in the first season the AI forces unrealistic scenarios on your club.

In my first CM it was Adryan getting homesick despite being the highest paid and most important player on my squad. In my current CM it's my best CB (Paparatto) deciding to retire at 30 years old despite growing +1OVR and asking for more money during the season.

For those of you playing a manager CM with a low/mid-level club, are you finding seasons 2-4 to be the toughest? It seems like if you do well in the first season the AI forces unrealistic scenarios on your club.

In my first CM it was Adryan getting homesick despite being the highest paid and most important player on my squad. In my current CM it's my best CB (Paparatto) deciding to retire at 30 years old despite growing +1OVR and asking for more money during the season.

Now my best player, Diego Valeri 77OVR CAM, says he can't stay at the club any longer with 5 days left in the January window. No specific reason and his moral is very high. Hopefully, I can send high counter offers that other teams won't match and the board doesn't sell him for 50% of his value like they did to me with Adryan in my first CM. But, really, the logic in this game sometimes

havent got that far in my CM with Orlando City yet. but I hope Adryan doesnt get homesick, had 13 goals in Apertura along with 7 assist, both apertura league highs.

First game of Clausura he had 4 goals against Toronto, missed a PK too lolol

They start with £31 million, I sold dead wood, Turan because he wanted to leave for about £15 million and I got quite a bit of money from the Champions League. Remember this team was built over two seasons!
