Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
FIFA 15 - PS3 - Season 1
Lazio 1-3 Juventus
Ledesma 58'
Pogba 13' Vidal 49' Llorente 66'
MOTM: Autoro Vidal (9.0)
Coming into this game the Old Lady topped the league en-route to a 4th consecutive title. They got off to a promising start when De Vrij blocked Paul Pogba's first effort but the Dutchman wasn't quick enough to get up before the young star put the ball past Marchetti. Our first opportunity came with Candreva hitting the post from the edge of the box. It was just inches away from being the perfect response. The second half began terribly, Chilean, Arturo Vidal dribbling through the defence, much too easily, and shooting in off the left hand post. Searching for a goal we pressed forward and it was our captain and leader Ledesma who got it with a first time finish after beautiful inter play between Klose, Ledesma and Parolo. The summer signing from Parma slid the ball across the box for Ledesma to tap in past Buffon. We couldn't get another though and Spanish international Llorente scored with rebound after his initial effort had been saved.
Parma 1-2 Lazio
Cassano 21'Paletta 44'
Paloschi 44' (Pen) 45'
MOTM: Alberto Paloschi (9.2)
Cassano cracked a penalty off the bar early in the game letting us off the hook. The same man however eventually put us behind with a strike from inside the area. We made a breakthrough when Paletta brought down Ederson after a smart turn from the Brazilian. The 29 year old was promptly shown red. Alberto Paloschi stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way, leveling the game. Anderson then played a quick one-two with Paloschi before shooting and Paloschi was the first to react, knocking in the rebound. The two quick fire goals from the 25 year old dramatically changed the game right before halftime. The striker should have had a hat trick however when he and Djordjevic missed late chances to extend the lead.
Lazio 3-3 Atalanta
Parolo 20' Keita 40' 51'
Bonaventura 31' Denis 42' Boakye 76'
MOTM: Balde Diao Keita (7.6)
Klose had an impressive game grabbing two assists while Candreva teed up the third goal. The German gave a deft through ball for Parolo who struck it first time to score. Terrible defending from us allowed Atalanta to equalize through Bonaventura. Then a low cross from Klose set up the second for Keita to take the lead. Denis made sure this lead was short lived after more poor defending. Early in the second half Candreva played the ball around the corner for Keita who finessed it by the Atalanta keeper. The Nerazzurri tied it up once again when Marchetti wasn't decisive enough allowing Boakye to finish.
Inter 2-4 Lazio
Alvarez 45' Osvaldo 52'
Candreva 26' 50' Parolo 43' Keita 55'
MOTM: Lucas Biglia (8.4)
Despite not scoring Klose had an impact for the second game in a row. He managed to assist twice again. Candreva got us off to the perfect start when he was first to react to the rebound from Parolo's edge of the box strike. Parolo converted his next chance, Klose holding off Vidic and slipping him through. The midfielder put Silvestre on the ground and finished powerfully past Carrizo for a two goal lead. Bad luck would strike however when Ciani misheaded a ball allowing Ricky Alvarez in to pull one back for Inter right on halftime. To restore our two goal cushion Lucas Biglia sent in a peach of a free kick and Candreva timed his run to perfection heading in for his second. But another individual error cost us another goal. De Vrij was caught on his heels, after controlling a high ball, by Osvaldo who took it off him and scored, continuing his red hot form. Balde Diao Keita capped the game off with a first time shot from the six yard box after Klose picked him out. That was his third goal in two games. A massive win against the second placed team to end the month on a high.

My Thought's
We have been in remarkable form with only 2 defeats in our last 10 games and have pushed Bayern all the way this year. With 4 games still left to play we have secured Champions League football which is a huge achievement for the club and although we may have overachieved this season we fully deserve it. With a chance to get to the Deustcher Pokal final we will be fully focusing on that and although it is still mathematically possible to win the league we know it is extremely unlikely that Bayern will lose 3 out of 4 games but if they somehow do, we will be there waiting. A highlight of the last couple of months has to be Martin Odegaard netting 4 against Schalke, it was a great individual performance by him and probably one of the teams performances of the season. He is already becoming a vital part of the first team and he was a complete steal for the £1,500,000 fee we paid for him from my former club Bor.M'gladbach. Speaking of Bor.M'gladbach, they currently occupy the 3rd relegation place and looks like I may be having the last laugh this season.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Apologies but I lost track of where I was in my Leicester career whenever I remembered to update so I will just do a quick summary. We went through November and December mainly losing and drawing games. There was a real lack of inspiration from any of our strikers. The only positive player at this point was Kasper Schmeichal, earning man of the match almost every game for the saves he was making. We went out of the FA cup first round to Hull 2-0. Again, no one looked like scoring. We signed odegaard on loan from real Madrid and for Angelo Henriquez (ST) in a swap deal. Unfortunately, they did not supply us with the impact we required.
The next few months were awful, barely winning any games and slipping down the table. We literally had no one scoring goals, or anyone in midfield creating many changes. We ended the season in 15th, which was too close to relegation for my liking. But with two big strikers: Kokorin and Austin coming to the club on free contracts next season, we will hope for a higher finish.
Sorry for the brief update but honestly not much happened this season. Lets hole for a turn around next year. A detailed one will be focused on for Leicester City season 2.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Founded in 1922, York City Football Club are based in the city of York, North Yorkshire. The "Minstermen" have participated in League Two, the English 4th division since 2012-13 after gaining promotion from the Conference Premier.
Season 2014/15 - A new beginning!
Playing on 15 still, I'll be taking over York City with the intention of changing the lower league club into an English and hopefully, European powerhouse.
With only 170,000 to begin with and a board that is strict when it comes to finances, I'll be heavily reliant on youth, loans and free transfers to strengthen my squad for now, though that will have to wait until January when the transfer window opens.
I'll update before and after each transfer window.
Current Squad
Spoiler1 J. Mooney GK 56 25yo
2 M. McCoy RB 57 25yo
3 O. Illesanmi LB 57 23yo
5 J. McCombe CB 59 29yo
6 D. Parslow CB 55 28yo
7 M. Coulson LM 60 26yo
8 L. Summerfield CM 61 26yo
9 W. Fletcher ST 60 23yo
10 R. Penn CM 60 28yo
11 S. Miller ST 61 26yo
12 J. Carson RM 62 21yo
14 L. Montrose CM 56 25yo
15 K. Lowe CB 60 28yo
16 D. Winfield CB 59 26yo
17 B. Halliday RB 59 18yo
18 T. Platt CM 56 20yo
20 L. Meikle RM 57 26yo
21 B. Hirst ST 51 16yo
23 J. O'Hanlon ST 55 18yo
24 M. Ingham GK 57 33yo
25 R. Jarvis ST 58 27yo
29 E. Sinclair ST 58 26yo
30 S. Coulthirst LM 57 19yo
31 B. Olejnik GK 63 27yo
38 S. Zubar CB 61 27yo
39 J. Hyde ST 60 24yo
The board have stated they expect a "high finish". I'll be playing a holding 4-3-3 with the wingers cutting inside to get onto their stronger foot. Youth scouting in England is in place and I also have scouts searching the UK for potential pre-contract signings to strengthen for next season.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I chose Hamburg, but the Bundesliga presentation just doesn't sit well with me. I've decided to go with Levante for several reasons. This year's kits are sharp, but there is room for a great story. Levante are definitely Valencia's second club, but Keylor Navas' transfer to Real Madrid in 2014 was a pivotal moment. It sent a message to hot prospects around the world: come play for us if you want to join one of the big boys someday.
But what if Levante could go a step further? Instead of developing talent to sell once they peak, what if Levante used those players to become one of the heavy hitters? Those are the questions my career will try to answer. It all starts with a major stadium renovation and ends only once we've gained a place among the European elite.
In terms of transfers, I want to keep things fairly realistic but still impart my own flavor. I don't to make it too easy to assemble a top squad, but I also want to avoid a situation where I can't sign anyone who would improve the team. That's where my guidelines and restrictions come into play. I hope to make the career more enjoyable and last longer.
• One of my youth scouts will cover Spain, and the other two will cover Spanish-speaking countries in the Americas. I'll be limiting the number of players in my academy at any given time, too.
• I will be running a 23-man squad this year as I always do. Half the squad (12/23) will have Spanish nationality. The other 11 will be the best we can find at the prices we can afford. Players who are likely to know Spanish are welcome, but talent and mentality are the most important factors. I'm also limiting myself to one free transfer per season.
• I won't be allowed more than 2-3 future legends, who are players that I don't want to sell for any price. Everyone else has a price. Any player who tops goals, assists, or clean sheets will be sold to the first big club to ask about him.
• There will be a financial takeover ahead of my first European campaign. It is bonus money that must be used right away on 2-3 top players instead of half a dozen prospects.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Hi guys, how's everyone doing??
I haven't been updating as much as i should be since FIFA 16 came out and I was fancying a new career mode since I won the Barclays premier league with Exeter City (don't worry, I'll still keep that save for a later date) but I decided I want to get back into the swing of things. Not too extensive and detailed but just for a little bit of fun that hopefully you all will find amusing.
I am going to try my best with THE WORST TEAM IN FIFA!
Yes, i did do a career with Athlone Town so you're probably saying "cabee, you've already done that.." well no i haven't!
I've taken two to four of the worst players from each position and have put them into one team! If i had chosen the very lowest, my whole team would be just packed full with 17 year olds so i've thrown in some older players to make my time even harder! I've also tried to make the potential of each player the lowest it can be... No player in my team has 50 overall or above and the highest potential i saw was 55 if i remember correctly. This is going to be fun! *sarcastic*
Here is my team:
GK :: Sam Ramsbottom :: 18 Years Old :: 42 Ovr
GK :: Barry Richardson :: 44 Years Old :: 43 Ovr
RB :: Daniel Tobin :: 17 Years Old :: 44 Ovr
RB :: Tom Holland :: 17 Years Old :: 44 Ovr
CB :: Ellis Redman :: 17 Years Old :: 41 Ovr
CB :: Justen Glad :: 17 Years Old :: 44 Ovr
CB :: Fahad Aljohani :: 26 Years Old :: 49 Ovr
LB :: Khalid Al Dossary :: 28 Years Old :: 47 Ovr
LB :: Mohammed Al Asaf :: 29 Years Old :: 49 Ovr
CDM :: Musharraf Al Ruwaili :: 28 Years Old :: 43 Ovr
CDM :: Kim Young Nam :: 23 Years Old :: 47 Ovr
CM :: Paul Tisdale :: 41 Years Old :: 41 Ovr
CM :: Khalid Nasser :: 23 Years Old :: 45 Ovr
RM :: Harry Agombar :: 21 Years Old :: 48 Ovr
RM :: Nam Ki Cho :: 23 Years Old :: 48 Ovr
LM :: Piotr Zemlo :: 18 Years Old :: 40 Ovr
LM :: Francisco Lima da Silva (Doka for short) :: 29 Years Old :: 48 Ovr
CAM :: Connor Martin :: 17 Years Old :: 47 Ovr
CAM :: Kerim Avcl :: 24 Years Old :: 49 Ovr
ST :: Ciaran O'Connor :: 17 Years Old :: 47 Ovr
ST :: Dominic Knowles :: 22 Years Old :: 48 Ovr
ST :: Ahmed Al Gizani :: 23 Years Old :: 49 Ovr
So bad, eh? I'll be starting in the English League 2 and updates will hopefully start soon.
P.S. As far as transfers go; i'm making none. All of my new signings will be youth squad players that have been picked by my one star scout(s).
UPDATE: Wow. I just won in my first friendly against my old friends GFC Ajaccio. Paul Tisdale's scored our first goal from a penalty! The result was 2-0 to us due to winning two penalties.

End of Season Thought's
What a season this has been. I am disappointed that we didn't win the Deustcher Pokal, especially to lose it so late on, but I can not take anything away from what a good season we have had. We had a couple of standout performers this season, obviously Bundesliga player of the year Felix Wiedwald who managed 20 clean sheets in the league. Izet Hajrovic finished with an impressive 7 goals from midfield as well as 2 assists and up front Aron Johansson had an impressive goal return of 11 as well as 5 assists. There was also some remarkable solo performances such as Martin Odegaards 4 goal haul against Schalke. We will look to build on this seasons success and hopefully win our first piece of silverware next season. We have the Champions League to look forward to so it is going to be a long, tough season ahead of us but I am confident that the players are able to step up to the challenge.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
..ok guys, here's a tip for you: Don't try to get a player on a 2 year loan deal with an option to buy. Because you're unable to offer them a contract after those 2 years. I tried it with two players now, both of them keep declining contracts, no matter how much money I offer them. As soon as you run out of time to offer them an contract, you'll get an email from their 'club' saying that the player returned to them. But the club's name was 'TEAMABBR15_262143' twice in a row.
here's the proof:
Looks like EA manages to break new things every year.Last edited by OkDoei; 10-13-2015, 10:06 AM.Current FIFA 16 Career Mode(s):
