In my Exeter cm, when I was in the lower leagues, I could not for the life of me play well against Portsmouth...now it's Chelsea but I get where you're coming from.

The Leicester City game with 'We should give the fans refunds for the tickets this game was so boring.' underneath it made me laugh. Have you been fustrated by the lack of consistancy? Being 5th in the league is still a great achievment at this point but do you feel like you could have been higher in the table based on your performances?
Thanks! I'm pretty happy with my signings so far as for the FA Cup I was disappointed to lose I think it will help in the long run to focus just on the league. As for Bournemouth well I guess I will have to try something else out next time I play them. I'm happy with where we are in the table for sure, but it is mainly because other team have slipped up as well. If we we had continued how we played the first part of the season it would not be so tight.

It was good to get some points this month while also seeing Doumbia put some in the net, we are going to miss him come next season because I doubt he will be available for a reasonable fee based on performances for us this season. And thanks we may need it if it stays this close!

      Starting XI (4-4-2 Diamond Wide)

      Martinez

      Gardner

      Burke ------------------ B. Moore

      Byrne

      Arteaga-------McKay

      ___________________________________

      League Match 34
Newport County - Plymouth Argyle (2-1)
      Gardner 7' (pen)
      McKay 66' (Binnom-Williams)

      Carey 85'
      Dall'Oglio 80'
      Holmes 83'

This was a key showdown between the top two teams in the league. A win by Plymouth would had put them in serious contention for the league title but The Exiles were able to hold them off to all but pave the road to a League Two title. The Pilgrims had twice as many shots as the home squad but weren't as effective with their opportunities, only hitting as many shots on target as Newport. A gorgeously-executed free kick from Carey near the end finally put the visitors on the board but it was too late by then.

      League Match 35
Bristol Rovers - Newport County (0-4)
      Leadbitter 30' (OG)
      Collins 69' (Rodman)
      Collins 89' (Dall'Oglio)
      M. Miller 90+

Taylor 9' (Bruised shoulder, out 9 days)

The B-squad is officially en fuego. With just two days of rest following an adrenaline-charged game vs Plymouth it was The Exiles' second squad's turn to get on the pitch and they showed just how much they have grown since their early-season struggles. Aaron Collins technically got a hat-trick since it was his strong header in the 30th minute that bounce off the Bristol goalkeeper and then reflected off of Leadbitter to open up the scoring gates. Even seldom-used Mark Miller got on the scoring sheet with what we believe was his first goal as pro. Congrats to the youngster from Ireland on the feat.

      League Match 36
      Newport County - Stevenage (5-3)
      Tonge 4' (pen)
      Byrne 10' (Arteaga)
      Burke 21' (Arteaga)

      Marriott 48'
      Arteaga 50' (Binnom-Williams)
      Byrne 70' (Binnom-Williams)
      Byrne 73' (Holmes)

      Whelpdale 90+'

We probably should had foreseen how weird this game would be once a penalty kick was called inside of 5 minutes. The fans at Rodney Parade got treated to 8 goals, 5 from their squad each of which received an assist. In the end fans were singing Mark Byrne's name, the Irish who has had a career season in '16-'17 and reminded everyone of it with a hat-trick, taking home the game ball. Was it a sloppy game? Absolutely, but it was also very entertaining.

      League Match 37
Exeter City - Newport County (0-1)
      Byrne 7' (McKay)
Giles 23' (Bruised elbow, out 5 days)

Byrne continues to make his case for team MVP by scoring the only goal of the game to push The Exiles closer to achieving promotion. The bigger news was that Giles' injury will only keep him out for a few days, he seemed to be in a lot of pain when the injury happened.

      League Match 38
      Morecambe - Newport County (1-3)
      Wildig 28'
      Collins 64'
      B. Moore 79'
      Thuram 90' (B. Moore)

The Exiles' B-squad can't be stopped, won't be stopped, even if Martinez makes a mistake every now and then throws a weak ball right into the opponent's strike to partially trail 0-1. Aaron Collins is closing out the season in a very good note and Bondz Moore continued the good start o his career by scoring his first goal as a pro then netting his second career assist to help Thuram seal the deal for Newport.

      League Match 39
Burton Albion - Newport County (0-4)
      Arteaga 21' (McKay)
      Arteaga 41' (Burke)
      T. Moore 49' (Gardner)
      Gardner 69' (Binnom-Williams)

      Binnom-Williams 44'
      Byrne 55'
Giles 5' (Dislocated shoulder, out 8 weeks)

NEWPORT COUNTY HAS CLINCHED PROMOTION TO LEAGUE ONE! They did it by putting on yet another dominating performance against a team fighting for a playoff spot. In a strange turn of events The Exiles players did very little celebrating on their accomplishment and Marccelino explained their reaction in his post-game presser. "It's always great to accomplish goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the season but to the lads this was almost a given at this point, so they are elated about promotion but their heads are already thinking about bigger things. It makes me proud to be able to say that about them. We'll make sure to celebrate our promotion but we shouldn't lose focus in our remaining games, winning the league title is definitely something I want."

The only black patch on such a joyful game was academy-gem Jack Giles suffering yet another injury that may keep him out for the rest of the season. Bondz Moore is expected to fill in at LM.

      League Match 40
      Newport County - Northampton (0-1)
      D'Ath 37'
      B. Moore 86'

Welp, so much for not getting complacent. The Exiles lose in league play for the first time since late December and go scoreless in the process. Bonds Moore made a young kid's mistake near the end of the game on a tackle that will cost him one game and the club will consider promoting Ben Potter from the academy.

Review: I expanded the stats above a bit to illustrate just how involved Binnom-Williams has been in our offense from the left back position as well as to further illustrate what a fine season Mark Byrne has been having. Many wonder why I don't promote Gordon from the academy or maybe give recently-promoted Salo a bigger role and the truth is all Byrne has done this season is establish himself as must-start for the club. So long as he's on the roster, it'll be impossible not to start him. But the biggest news of course is PROMOTION! Definitely happy to get that done with a good number of games left after going through agony twice at the end of last season. I really feel like this squad will be able to compete for promotion to the Championship next season so I'm definitely eager to get there. Yes I want the league title too but I anticipate locking that up with a few games left and I'm trying to decide whether to (after clinching the title) continue to play the regulars in the remaining games so some like Arteaga or McKay can get a golden boot or use those games to get a better look at some of our depth. Let me know what you think about that.

I always appreciate your comments on our academy and I gotta say it's starting to take pretty good shape. Have there been new additions you ask? Why yes, of course:

      - Clark Gordon (CM, 66 OVR, 85-91 POT): Arguably the club's top prospect at the moment, the kid from Scotland recently turned 17 years old growing to 5'7" and 156lbs. He projects as the future replacement for Mark Byrne, but as the Irishman is having a hell of a season the club is in no rush to promote this kid.
      - Kjetil Ringdal Støvland (ST, 54 OVR, 84-94): This 16-year old from Norway immediately goes into the discussion for top prospect at the club and the board, Marccelino, and the whole coaching staff is elated to be working with this kid in the academy. Already 5'7" and 156lbs, Støvland is physically strong and possesses outstanding acceleration, aggression, jumping, and strenght to with stamina that might allow him to play a full 90-minutes. Developing him consistently will be key.
      - Nicolai Fernandes (LB, 64 OVR, 87-93): Another new gem in our youth squad is this 15-year old from Denmark, undoubtedly someone who might debut for the club before his 17th birthday and who enters the conversation for best prospect at the club. Only average speed although we hope he'll continue to develop that, and a already an average defender. Youth coaches are ready to develop this talent.
      - Gregorio Miranda (LB, 55 OVR, 75-94): 16-year old from Argentina is actually right-footed and may project as an option at RB. Skill-wise he's currently similar to Fernandes but not as advanced in his development.
      - Hikaru Ichigawa (CDM, 58 OVR, 75-94): 15-year old from Japan is no longer the only Asian prospect in the academy. He's currently 5'1" and 141lbs but he's defensive minded and we are very excited about his future.
      - David Fox (RM, 57 OVR, 78-84): One of the youngest members of the youth squad is this 15-year old form Scotland standing at 5 feet tall and 125lbs. Crazy agile, our scouts are very intrigued by how much progress he can show if he commits for a couple of years in our academy and he's shown good progress as of late.
      - Hayato Matsuki (GK, 53 OVR,72-92)*: The first goalkeeper to join the academy is this 16-year old from Japan currently standing at 5'11" and 178lbs. His teachers in Japan raved about him and he's shown some good flashes for us so far.
      - Tafari Hunt (CB, 52 OVR, 71-91): The newest English addition to the academy is this 17-year old standing at 6'2" and 167lbs. He already possesses outstanding physical skills for his age so it'll be up to us to develop his craft as a defender and he has been performing well in training so far.
      - Juan Pablo (LW, 54 OVR, 71-89): A second Argentinian prospect is the 17-year old shorty (5'5", 136lbs) who makes up for his size with quickness and swiftness. We're intrigued about what he can offer for us.
      - Magnus Dahle (LB, 55 OVR, 76-82): This 17-year old from Norway is no longer evaluated as a top prospect but he's working hard to regain that status. At 5'11" and 167lbs he's a better defender at the moment than an offensive asset.
      - Patrick Brennan (LW, 52 OVR, 75-81): This Irish prospect recently turned 16 years old and has grown to 5'2", 150lbs. He continues to show flashes but still needs a lot of development.
      - Marc Fox (CAM, 53 OVR, 72-78): This now 18-year old from Scotland is described by scouts as a playmaker. He may be a late bloomer but we look forward to grooming him.

With Giles' injury and B. Moore's suspension we decided to promote Ben Potter, who will get a start in the next game against Fleetwood Town. Gary Woods requested and received promotion, he's likely to be a loan candidate next season.

And that's all for this update, if I'm honest I'm a bit surprised than in almost 2 years I have yet to receive an offer to manage an international team. With an Italian head coach I've been hoping for the chance to coach an European club but I'd consider any offer at this point.

      Moving on!

I'm not sure if this was the first time you were doing it for some reason but it was a big change for me so I had to let you know. But back to your CM I'm not shocked the big guns are starting to throw some money at you for your studs although it does shock me they're not willing to pay up for Lanzini. That was a fun game against Stoke and I thought you got a bit lucky getting the win, especially down to 10 men, although I disagree with Simp on that being red-worthy. Obviously I'm a fan of the Brooks signing and he should be a stud for you for a few seasons.
Hey, I'm all for constructive criticism so believe me I don't take any offense to it. I have been doing the live episode strictly in this entire career mode for the transfer windows, but for the next transfer window maybe I'll just stick back with the voiceover. I like to spice it up and try to not just use one style, so for this I had been doing the live videos just for the transfer window, because I think the live commentary just keeps it fresh when you can see actual reactions like I'm the manager on the touchline. But I greatly appreciate knowing things that may not be as enjoyable about it so thank you! Glad you're still following along, as I have so big money stuff in the works!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I’ve been having trouble finding how I want to update and run my career mode for you guys. I want to keep things detailed, but not to the point of the posts are either super wordy, or super boring. Short, simple, and to the point is the format I am looking for. I’ve been toying with video editing (see: Juventus career videos), but this was really just something to do for a break from my (main) Arsenal career mode. I was running the page over at Dynasty Nation (http://www.dynastynationnetwork.com/...cer&u=JHedges2) but it just didn’t seem to get enough traffic/feedback despite A LOT of time/effort put in.

With that said, this post will be a bit longer, as I intend to update you all on where I stand with Arsenal; as I currently am in July of 2016 managing England in the Euro 2016 tournament. The ‘English related’ champions of 2015/16 are:

          Champions League: Manchester City
          Premier League: Arsenal
          FA Cup: Manchester United
Capital One Cup: West Ham United

BPL Player of the Year: Petr Čech (12 clean sheets)
BPL Golden Boot: Wayne Rooney (21 goals)
BPL Manager of the Year: Hedges (Arsenal)

Promoted for 2016/17: Burnley, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest
Relegated for 2016/17: Sunderland, Watford, Bournemouth

          ---------------------------------------------

          Squad Update

I always disable the first summer window as I want to begin with as close to accurate rosters as possible, so my first transfer window was Jan. 2016. The biggest splash was a deadline day deal for Gareth Bale (£51M) from Real Madrid. I was only able to use him a few times, as I lost him to injury for the season. I also brought in M’Baye Niang from AC Milan for £6.5M.

In the midfield, I brought in (real life transfer) Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel for £2.5M.

In defense, I brought in 2 young promising CB’s in Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen (£4M) and Olivier Boscagli from Nice (£750K).

So I now sit ready to enter into the Summer 2016 transfer window, and don’t know what, if any moves I will make. I’d like to loan out some of my youth players to get experience—as they aren’t ‘Arsenal Quality’ just yet, and would receive little to no playing time if left on my squad. I’m using a 4-3-3 which is very similar to real life:

          Sanchez | Giroud | Bale

          Ramsey | Ozil | Coquelin

          Monreal | Koscielny | Gabriel | Bellerin

          Cech
          ---------------------------------------------

          Summer 2016 Transfer Window

I have a lot of young attackers/wingers (Iwobi, Gnabry, Silva, Akpom) that really just won’t see the pitch much.

Midfield is solid too with bench players: Cazorla, Wilshere, Elneny, Flamini

Main defensive 2nd team: Gibbs, Mertesacker, Tah, Boscagli, Chambers

I was thinking about going for either Mats Hummels or Raphael Varane in the CB position, and also perhaps a young promising CDM and CAM—as I really don’t get the value out of Cazorla because Ozil plays so much.

Anyway, thanks for reading and I look forward to Season 2!

            Season 1
            April 2016

            Season Objectives:

The Domestic Cup objective is to reach the Round of 16.
The League objective qualify for the European Cup.

            BPL Match
            Norwich 1 - 0 Newcastle
            Mbokani 28’

            MOTM Brady (NOR)

We got beat by a goal scored early on when Mbokani was played through and had a good finish to the bottom corner. We just couldn't get anything going and when it comes down to it Norwich was the better team throughout the game.

            BPL Match
            Southampton 0 - 2 Newcastle
            Townsend 64’
            Correa 90’

            MOTM Tiote (NEW)

After Southampton beat us in the first game of the season we had a point to make and came into the game ready to fight. It still took over an hour for us to score the first goal, but it came from Townsend who cut in and hit a good shot to the far upper 90. Correa sealed it in the 90th after being played through he was able to score his first goal.

            BPL Match
            Newcastle 0 - 1 Swansea
            Fer 75’

            MOTM Nordfeldt (SWA)

We were unlucky to concede the goal we did but I’m not sure we deserved the three points. Fer shot from far out and the ball was going wide but Krul dove and actually hit it into the net.

            BPL Match
            Liverpool 0 - 2 Newcastle
            Townsend 78’
            Correa 86’

            MOTM Shelvey

Townsend and Correa seem to score together late on in games the play together. We didn’t have many chances but we took the ones we got. Townsend scored a similar to last came by cutting in on his stronger left foot and firing to the far post. Correa this time was able to head in a cross sent in by Shelvey.

            BPL Match
            Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Newcastle
            Shelvey 42’
            Bolasie 72’

            MOTM Shelevy

Crystal Palace who are in midst of a relegation battle will probably look at this game and be happy to take a point from us.

            Table:

            My Thoughts:

May will be a very interesting month! We could finish anywhere between 4th and 8th based on how results around the league go in the last few matches. We play Aston Villa and Spurs both at home for our last two matches. We really need to aim for a win in both games if we want to get a spot in Europe and that's what we will do!

Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling came close early on for England before Valente tested Hart with a long range strike on 33 minutes. The best chance of the game came when Walcott cut the ball back towards Henderson but Rui Patrício got down well to save the Liverpool man's effort.

                  Switzerland 0-4 England

                  MotM: Leighton Baines (ENG)

Smalling and Morrison both headed in Leighton Baines' corners to give us a 2-0 lead which was extended with captain Wayne Rooney's goal right on halftime. The striker tapping in the rebound of Milner's shot. Berahino came off the bench to score the fourth after being put through by Sturridge. Unfortunately John Stones was sent off for pulling down Seferovic when he was clean through with five minutes to play. Jake Kean kept a clean sheet in goal on his first appearance for the national team.

                  MotM: Jordan Ayew (AVL)

Carlos Sánchez was allowed to dribble far too easily through our defence and score the decisive goal 12 minutes from time. We failed to convert our chances and in the end that came back to hurt us.

                  Cardiff City 1-1 FC Utrecht

                  10' (Pen) Haller

                  MotM: Peter Whittingham (CAR)

The side was fully rotated due to a league game against Spurs coming up in two days time. We didn't get off to the greatest of starts when Hector gave away a penalty which Haller easily converted. Haller was a nuisance all game and even hit the post just before Iheanacho got the equalizer. A beautiful solo run on the counter attack followed by a strong right footed finish from the Nigerian. Utrecht dominated the ball while we had more attempts than the Dutch side.

                  61' Dembele

                  MotM: Michel Vorm (TOT)

We peppered the Spurs goal with shots but Vorm was in top form making 8 saves, including a point blank stop from Afobe's effort off Phillips' pullback. Spurs would come away with a slightly undeserved win in the end, Dembele's volley off Chadli's free kick the deciding factor.

                  100', 105' Adama

                  MotM: Adama (CAR)

We struggled to break Morecambe down for the first 90 minutes and in the end two goals from Adama, the substitute, settled the tie in extra time. Whittingham had a penalty saved but we managed to keep the ball alive and then Adama smashed a shot in off the crossbar. He added a second on the counter attack, Iheanacho sliding him through and his pace took him away from the defender, allowing him a comfortable finish. Ward-Prowse should have scored a third late on but the Englishman saw his effort go just wide.

                  Swansea City 0-0 Cardiff City

                  MotM: Fernando Muslera (SWA)

Coming into this Welsh derby, Swansea were the league's top scorers with 13 while we were the league's lowest scorers with 4. We still couldn't score but importantly neither could Swansea. Sigurdsson showed early warning signs when he struck the post from long range but we would have the next big chance, Ince was unable to convert however. Both keepers were on top form and earned their respective sides a point. Blanco stopping a close range Sigurdsson effort before Muslera kept out Amartey's low drive. Suarez had hit the post right beforehand. Our poor run of form in the league continues but at least we pick up a point.

Red Bull Salzburg 0-2 Cardiff City
                  77', 90' Williams

                  MotM: Iñaki Williams (CAR)

Salzburg had hit the post twice before we got our first real clear cut chance. Suarez cutting inside and curling just past the frame of the goal. Iñaki then found himself on the end of Adama's deflected shot so he turned and tucked the ball away from six yards to hand us a crucial lead. Iheanacho smashed one off the crossbar soon after before a through ball from Ward-Prowse to Iñaki sealed the game with a 2-0 scoreline.

Our best player all season, attacking midfielder Alexandr Erokhin finished the 2015-16 campaign strong. Erokhin garnered Man of the Match honors in FC Ural's 3-0 win over Mordovia Saransk, and he scored a critical goal in the Russian Cup Final against FC Krasnodar in a match Ural eventually won on penalties. With the 26-year-old's contract set to expire, manager Vadim Skripchenko has publicly stated re-signing Erokhin is a top priority for the rising Yekaterinburg side.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Moose - That Butland own goal was ridiculous and funnily enough, I've had something similar happen to me. My shot bounced off the crossbar while the keeper had already diven forwards to save the shot, missing the ball. The ball was going down and out after hitting the bar but the keeper, who had gotten up, leaped into his own net, hitting the ball there as well. To get back to your videos, disappointing to see that you lost to Newcastle. Good job to bounce back from it in the cup, though, especially with Payet getting a hattrick!

As far as transfers go, I would've personally went for Draxler since he's a Bundesliga player and he has very good dribbling stats. Out of the three wingers you have made offers for I'd sign Berardi or Jese (where the 'J' is pronounced as 'H') because I rate them higher than Tello. Ntep also looks like a great option but if I had to pick only one player it would have to be Berardi. Also, I think that all the teams that are going for Lanzini might be placing very low bids on him because of his contract lenght. Usually lower offers are received for players with under two years left on their contracts so I suggest checking that out.

SMH - Great work with Ural to win the Russian Cup and and to qualify for the Europa League! Congratulations on the cup win, too! It looked like a very stressful game with three penalties in it and with you going down twice. I'm looking forward to next season!

Keano - Very inconsistent month of September where only cup games went your way. Losing to Villa is not something that will help you in finishing in the top six. Fortunately you are looking solid in the Europa League with a three-point lead over Utrecht in third. Goalscoring is looking like a big issue for you at the moment. Also, good start with England in what were quite pointless games in all honesty. Good to see that you are in the World Cup, though, and good luck for it!

Yanks - It feels bad to see your team dropping so many points after what was an amazing half a season. I know exactly what you are going through because I had a similar time period in the first season of my Hertha career. I went from January to May with only winning something like four games. I really wish you luck for the last month!

Hedges - I think those types of written updates work the best here. They are easy and quick to read and giving feedback is easier.

Rabbit - Overall a great month with Newport with many great performances from many different players! It's good to see that the whole squad is performing well. Great job securing promotion at this time, too! Also, Clark Gordon is looking amazing in the academy.

Cabee - Interesting decision to let Lukaku go after being the top scorer for you last sason. Morata should be a good replacement for him, though. You also have good old Ronaldo in the team so getting goals really shouldn't be a problem with or without Lukaku.

                      ***

I am enjoying the Athletic Bilbao career at the moment, I really am, and I want to keep playing it, but recently I have been feeling like starting a new Hertha career. I think it would be a bit too much to start posting a second career with them in the time span of two weeks, but I'd still like to do it because 1) it's my favourite team 2) they are having a spectacular season in real life 3) I could do a couple of things differently than in the first career 4) I love the Bundesliga. Another option would be simply not to post it but there's a possibility that I'd get sucked into it and put Athletic to the side. Basically I need your advice.

CM Javi Ros, 70 Ovr, 26 years old, Spain

Club captain Javi Ros inspired a magical start to 2016 for Mallorca as Los Bermellones elminated Liga BBVA sides
Málaga and Real Madrid from the Copa del Rey, while continuing their dominance in Liga Adelante. From a defensive midfield position, Ros scored 3 goals in January and had two Man of the Match performances. His greatest moment was a goal against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu in Leg 2 of the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals that saw Mallorca shock the Spanish football world.

                          Manager's Thoughts
Our incredible run of form in the Copa del Rey and Liga Adelante continued in the new year as we continue to look destined for promotion while also stunning both
Málaga and Real Madrid in the cup competition. I could have never envisioned a 2-0 aggregate result against Los Blancos, but this squad has great heart. A minor stumble at the end with a 0-0 draw against Tenerife wasn't a particularly bad result as our side was pretty gassed from 8 matches on the month. With the league position very solidified, we will continue to go all in during the Copa del Rey in hopes of some silverware.

                          February 2016 - Schedule
                          2/3 - at Barcelona*
                          2/6 - at Valladolid
                          2/10 - vs Barcelona*
                          2/13 - vs Girona
                          2/20 - at
                          Almería
                          2/28 - at Ponferradina

                          *Copa del Rey - Semifinals

The biggest matches for February are obviously our 2 legs of the Copa del Rey semifinal against world giants FC Barcelona, and a trip to second-place
Almería. My league expectations are always the same - win every match. As for Barcelona, we are not intimidated after our results versus Real Madrid, so we'll just have to see what happens.<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"><link href="http://dynasties.operationsports.com/css/osdyn.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

                            Brentford career mode:

Transfer in: Lewis Cook from Leeds for £1m
Rico Henry from Walsall for £800k
Aaron Khul from Reading for £200k. Alan McCormack went the other way in part of the deal.

Transfer out: Emmanuel Onanse on loan to Wycombe for 2 years.
Courtney Senior on loan to Cambridge for 2 years.

Injuries: David Button out for 6 weeks after he torn his groin.
Jake Bidwell out for 8 weeks with a ankle injury.

                            Middlesbrough 2 Brentford 2
                            Rhodes 16m. L Vibe (pen) 21m
                            J De Sart 45m. L Vibe 41m
Our opening game of the season and what a way to start. The favorites for the title and we travel to them. Both teams started well, but on the 16th minute. Boro carved us open and Rhodes had a easy finish. We struck back well, Vibe causing all sorts of problems and went on a run into the box and won himself a penalty. He took it and smashed it down the middle. We kept the pressure on and eventually it worked. Vibe again down the right side and placed lovely into the far corner. Great counter attacking goal! It did not last though. Again, Boro had it too easy and they worked the ball well and De Sart had a easy finish for 2-2. That's the way the game ended, good start!

                            QPR 2 Brentford 3
                            Cherry 22m Kerschbaumer 4
                            Tozser 45m Kerschbaumer 35
                            Djurican 68
This game was in the Capitol one cup and it's always nice to have a local derby early on. We started in a tremendous fashion. We broke away and Kerschbaumer picked the ball up and just slotted it past the keeper. We couldn't do anything about the QPR goal. Cherry from about 30 yards out just smashed it past our reserve keeper. Quality goal. We didn't give up though. Kerschbaumer causing trouble got his second. Down the left side, cut inside and smashed it past the keeper. Like the Boro game we conceded just before half time. The ball was in our box and we failed to clear. It fell to Tozser and he calmly put it past the keeper. The second half was bit more quiet. We made a couple of changes and they worked. Djurican was found after a lovely pass and he did all the work himself. A lovely shot which the keeper probably should have saved. QPR came at us but we held our nerve and into the next round

                            Brentford 0 Leeds 0
My first home game in charge and it was a boring one. Nothing really to report. Judge had a goal disallowed after he was found offside, correct decision. It was frustrating because we couldn't break Leeds down. A point for each side

                            Bristol City 1 Brentford 0
                            Agard 85m
This was similar to the Leeds game. It was a really boring game and both teams defence were on top. We had some hall chances, didn't really test their keeper. However, on the 85th minute City put a cross into the box. The keeper for some reason has palmed it up into air and it's found Agard. He has a empty net and breaks the Bees hearts. I was fuming, we should have had a point, but we will bounce back.

Thoughts: On the early games we are conceding soft goals, but on the attacking side. Sometimes, we look brilliant going forward and had some real danger. Just need to cut out the mistakes and we'll be fine. It's still early and getting to grip with my new team.

The first month is so packed, I'll add a second update when I get chance. Thank you!

Simp thanks for watching! Yeah, it was ridiculous seeing a goal like that, but at least it spiced things up haha.

Smarty pants, haha, I'm Anglicizing his name! If he wants to play in England then he better deal with how the English and Americans will say his name! I think they're all pretty even definitely, but you can see that what I ended up doing all came down to the money and also what some of the commenters (namely on YT, not just here) have wanted to see transfer wise!

Draxler definitely interested me, but for a winger he doesn't have the pace I wanted to play the counter attacking style. I really rate Jese, and he has an affordable deal, but we shall just see what happens!
