I am actually not going to do a Cardiff career mode because DJC is already doing it. It would be cool if we each had a different team in England and so you could see how each team does when managed by a human being. I am going to start a Bolton career instead. Bringing them back to the Premier League should be fun. Going to bring them GLORY.

Hey guys, I won't be updating for a couple of weeks at least. Just taken on a huge new project at work with a massive workload and a June 1 deadline. Won't be having much time for games until then, but I'll be on here from time to time to read everyone else's posts.Comment

The Next Generation
June 24th, 2013
Shockingly, Fulham FC have fired their manager Martin Jol after a pretty succesfull season. According to the Brazilian press, the British club has appointed a young Brazilian couch called Símeon Ganchév. The choice has surprised a few. At the age of only 36, Ganchév will become the second youngest manager ever in the Premier League. Sadly for the Cottagers fans, the club's superstar Dimitar Berbatov has been captured by newly rich AS Monaco. The responsibility of scoring goals is now lying on the Greek talent Kostas Mitroglou.
Mr Ganchév, did it surprise you, that Fulham wanted you?
Actually it did surprise me a alot. Fulham are a good team and I'm still really young. Some may say I don't have the experience, but you need to learn to become good at something. Also the bosses are positive about me.
What do you think about Fulham as a club?
In my opinion they're a great side, with lots of history. In a season or two the team should be ready for European competitions and the top of the Premier League. Of course it won't be easy and we'll need a lot of young and talented players, but if we work hard, we will success.
Do you feel like you need to replace a lot of players?
A lot? No, I don't think so. But some players, yes. Many of our main players are getting older and they aren't sure about their future. But I can guarantee you a lot of talent and great players in the following years.
What kind of players?
Well, I've spoken with the board and they agree about bringing a centre back and a fullback and also we need a central midfielder and a winger. But everyone will get a chance, no worries.
Do you think Fulham will get relegated?
Absolutely not!
My XI 4-2-3-1:
Stekelenburg
Riether - Heitinga - Hangeland - Riise
Sidwell - Parker
Duff - Holtby - Dejagah
Mitroglou
Hope you'll enjoy! Sorry for all the mistakes, English isn't my first language.-Simppu12-

I'm sure I speak for almost everyone else when I say we'll really miss your Sunderland updates. You've inspired a lot of people to adapt your template for updates, and I hope you'll pick it back up in June.Return of the Bluebirds: A Cardiff City Dynasty

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Exactly. We'll surely miss your Sunderland updates. You've kind of set a trend. Love how everyone's posting detailed updates of their career modes. DJC, don't worry mate, I wasn't really into my Cardiff career mode. It's more unique if we do different teams and I'm really loving my Bolton career mode so far. Going to post a few updates tomorrow seeing tonight Arsenal is playing.Comment

That's awesome. I wish in FIFA 14 you could sign someone for a barrel of beer. I also wish there were still a Cudworth Village FC because that's a great name! Imagine a Cudworth Village RTG career.
Ol' Ernie's got his own Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernie_Blenkinsop. Pretty cool story, to go from working in the coal mines to becoming captain of England.Return of the Bluebirds: A Cardiff City Dynasty

Chivas de Guadalajara
El Rebaño Sagrado will have to once again put their unfinished business with La Copa Libertadores (Copa LatAm) from 2010 off to the side after losing 3-0 in the 2nd leg of the quarter final vs Brazilian team Sao Paulo. The team came out extremely motivated after the first leg in which they were only able to get away with a 1-1 draw in Brazil where they dominated the midfield and bombarded #2 keeper Denis. Although manager Chavez would have preferred a win, he was very satisfied with the draw knowing that playing at São Paulo is very difficult. Interesting fact: São Paulo had a 19-year, undefeated streak at home that intimidated all visitors as they appeared invincible in front of their Brazilian fans. Unfortunately for them, the team from Guadalajara, Mexico were not budged by this outstanding record and became the first team in 19 years to defeat São Paulo in Brazil on May 22nd of 2006. Chivas would then go on to play their second consecutive Copa LatAm semifinal, but were eliminated by Argentinian club Vélez Sarsfield. 8 years later, São Paulo were rewarded their revenge and this time it is Chivas who bow out of the international tournament. The other team representing Mexico in this year's Copa LatAm, America, were not even able to pass the group stage after falling behind Vélez and Ronaldinho's own Atletico Mineiro. This, of course, very much pleased the rival fans from Guadalajara.
Chivas can not let this defeat get to their heads as in 4 days time they must face off against Cruz Azul in their 2nd consecutive Final. Chavez is not too worried about the upcoming championship game as they humiliated Cruz Azul in the league 4-0, and who could forget the resounding 8-2 aggregate scoreline barely 6 months ago in the Apertura Final. Chavez's record vs Cruz Azul is currently 4-0-0, and another win here could already qualify them for next year's Copa LatAm.Comment
