Hey everyone! I'm new to the boards but have been lurking and reading your career mode experiences and I thought it would be kind of fun to share my own.

So I decided to start a career with AC Milan. I thought it would be interesting to completely rehaul their squad and turn them back into a major power. So that's what I did! In the summer transfer window I unloaded a ton of deadwood and tried to bring in some realistic transfers.

So as you can see, quite a few players out, and a few (expensive) upgrades in. I hadn't planned on selling Montolivo and Honda, but insane bids of $21.5 Million and $17 Million meant I couldn't resist.

So my starting lineup looked like this:

De Jong would have started in Rakitic's place with Rakitic starting as a CAM over Kaka, but De Jong spent over 6 months injured. First game of the season he was injured for 6 weeks. He came back from that, played two games, and then was injured for five months! I also realize that playing El Shaaraway on the right seemed a bit like a waste, but I really wanted to put Fischer in right away. But since El Shaaraway was right footed I figured it could work. And it did! All together, my front four pitched in with these stats in all competitions (Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League):
Balotelli - 40 Goals, 11 Assists
Fischer - 20 goals, 7 assists
Kaka - 8 Goals, 13 assists
El Shaaraway - 13 goals, 6 Assists

I'll come back later with an in depth detail of the season. I've still got Juventus in the Copa Italia Final and Barcelona in the Champions League Final!

so it appears as though transfers are updated weekly (or as they happen). so since Lewandowski is officially a Bayern player in July, does that mean that if I start a career mode (which would start in August), would Lewandowski be on the team immediately, or would he join in July 2014 in the next season? I'm a bit confused. I would assume players like Honda and Mata are in the squads already, however, Bosman transfers are a little unclear. Anyone who could help and clarify this, would be great.

Also, bonus internets to anyone who can start a Bayern career and let me know asap. I won't be able to play for a couple days still.

I just started one with Bayern to check, and Lewandowski is still a Dortmund player with an expiring contract. Nothing to do with Bayern yet

I have some problems with gameplay, I really love the Career Mode, I love buy players and growth then but the gameplay is boring, already searched for some sliders but they're all 15 minutes, this is too long for me, even 10 minutes looks too long but play with the default gameplay is boring and unrealistic too, I just don't know what I do.

I'm really loving the PS4 version of this game but the AI seems much tougher this year.

I like starting with small teams in the less prominent leagues. I'm in my second year with Piast Gilwice in Poland and managed to finish third in our first season. We also won the Polish Cup, which felt like a major accomplishment given how bad I stink at this game.

Currently hovering mid-table but we beat Real Sociedad in the opening round of European competition.

It's nice to have a somewhat realistic career. In Fifa 13 it was too easy to win leagues right off the bat with shoddy teams.

League: MLS (Chili Petrogas)
Difficulty: Goniras Sliders, 15 Min Halves, All Manual, NO SIMMING
Objective: Make A Run For The Playoffs
Record: 5/7/6

Here is a quick backdrop. Added 18 teams from MLS to Chile League, dropped Chivas & San Jose, added Orlando City.

Added the top Chili teams into the Columbian league, replacing lower level sides.

Wanted to Create the best set up for the South American Champions Cup.

Finished 12th In Chili Apertura
We just finished the single round robin Chili Apertura 17 game season & missed the playoffs by 3 points. Top 8 teams make playoffs and winner of playoffs gets 1 of the 3 qualifications for the Copa Libertadores. Seattle leads 2-0 Over New York After one leg of the finals.

We finished 5/6/6 with 16 goals in 17 games, we had a top 5 defense tho giving up only 17 goals.

Transfers
After finishing 12th we were not awarded a bunch of money to spend in the summer transfer window, 2.8 million.

We bought 18 year old Brazilian Adryan. The young CAM I hope is the piece we need to get our offense going, like Ozil was for Arsenal in a way.

We played one game without Adryan who joined the team the next day. We played out a 0-0 draw against New England.

Happy to start the season with a point.

What? Sorry, I didn't understand.

I just don't get it, Madden takes 30 minutes, 2k takes 30 minutes, DEFAULT.... And some fifa players on here act like they cant play more then a 12 minute match.... It gets old.

Its kinda like beggers cant be choosers.... You want to play an exciting match, but don't wanna play long enough to let that build up.

I could care less how long of match you play, but to complain about the game being boring blah blah, and then saying you cant play 10 minute halves, just doesn't make much sense to me at all....

You ever wonder why most sliders are 15 minutes? I wonder......

So first of all I have not used financial takeover before. I buy it and start an Everton career, then I sim a couple of days and there is my money. I forget to save but didn't think much of it. So I go to start it again and I can't get the money!!! I thought that if you buy it you could use it on as many careers as you want but apparently not! But than a little question after this, If my friend gifts me one can I use it like normal even if its a level 13 financial takeover and thats the one I already bought? Thanks for be (hopefully) helpful!
