GK- Jack Butland (22 y/o, 72 OVR, on loan) He's important because since Neuer is 29 years old, he's on a one year deal. Butland will be taking over for Neuer is I don't feel he has declined too much at the age of 30.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Nevermind that. I just went on and took Ozil. Even though he was more expensive, he was a year younger and one overall higher lmao. Anyway. August 17th of year 3 with Zenit and my main XI is locked right now for the season, unless there are some major problems by January.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
GK- Neuer (30 y/o, 86 OVR)
RB- Kyle Walker (26 y/o, 81 OVR)
RCB- Kurt Zouma (21 y/o, 80 OVR)
LCB- Jores Okore (23 y/o, 79 OVR)
LB- Luke Shaw (20 y/o, 79 OVR)

RS- Romelu Lukaku (23 y/o, 84 OVR)
LS- Diego Costa (27 y/o, 86 OVR)
And last year, Okore tore his ACL in the middle of the January Transfer window and was pretty much out for the year so I went and bought
CB-Stephen Sama (23 y/o, 77 OVR) from Liverpool
so he should make the bench deeper with him, Dos Santos and Oleg. Now with the 55M & 275K, is there anything I can do to improve this squad? If so who should I bring in?You Look Good, You Feel Good. You Feel Good, You Play Good. You Play Good, They Pay Good. - Deion Sanders

Bought Muriel for 54M + Devante Cole. He agreed on 140K a week with Important 1st team. Hopefully, I can rotate him, Lukaku and Costa without ever missing a beat. I love this 3 ST rotation I got going. You Look Good, You Feel Good. You Feel Good, You Play Good. You Play Good, They Pay Good. - Deion Sanders

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Oh I'm a happy boy. With the 51m I received from winning the League, Champions League and getting to the final of the FA Cup, every target of mine was obtained in the 3rd season summer transfer window. While this was going on, I simmed Inter vs Everton (2-0 Inter) and Everton vs Malaga (1-1), both very disappointing games.
Summer Transfer Window:
IN:
Pogba (14m)(CM)
N'Koulou (10m)(CB)
Goretzka(5.5m + Zuculini)(CM)
Ezekiel(13m)(ST)
OUT:
Jagielka (2.9m)(CB)
Zuculini (Swap + 5.5m for Goretzka)(CM)
Francisco Junior (Loan)(CM)
Lundstram (Loan)(LM)
I then adopted a fantastic attacking formation that suits my team really well and gives me great depth.
It's 4-5-1 (Attacking) by the way.
GK: Leali (73) - He's fairly inconsistent, but when he's playing well, he's playing really well. I'll give him time to develop since I know goalkeepers grow their potential faster a little older than normal
RB: De Sciglio (79) - A solid right back, but he's not growing as fast as I want him to! He also picked up a red card during my first three games of the season.
CB: Sakho (87) - ! An absolute monster, 94 marking, 91 standing tackle and 90 sliding tackle. A really really good player and he's only 26!
CB: N'Koulou (81) - He's.. decent? Perhaps better than Varane, but he's not anything special. I'm sure he'll grow to become something special though, but right now, he pales in comparison to Sakho.
LB: Baines (84) - An awesome, consistent player, but he's getting old (30) and his stats are starting to slowly decline. He can last the rest of this current season, but after that, I may look for other options, Shaw being a tantalising choice.
RM: Oxlade-Chamberlain (77) - Not growing! Not just that, but he's showing no signs of growing :/ He scores quite a few goals but he has a poor conversion rate and I may look for a new winger to replace Chamberlain.
CM: Goretzka (76) - A beast. 76 is a facade for his overwhelming talent. 4 games in, he's scored five goals, and he's my most defensive of the midfielders! His passing is pretty fantastic, and he boasts a good presence. Goretzka is a must-buy guys, I'm incredibly impressed with his perormances.
LM: Bakkali (81) - Obviously a huge asset to my team and, stamina aside, boasts some really valuable stats. He's great, he really is.
CAM: Pogba (83) - Another good, safe buy. He's scored once, and I'm yet to fully utilise his long shot capabilities. He seems to be very comfortable in his position.
CAM: Insigne (81) - Despite being one of my favourite players to use, he hasn't scored in ages. Meh, he's great at assisting and can pressure the keeper to pull off a few stinning saves to keep him from the scoresheet.
ST: Lukaku (79) - Not growing, but still a beast! His strength is really important and allows me to slip through balls to him where he can get past his tracking defender and slot the ball into the net. He has a poor right foot though, but I think that improves with time?
Subs:
GK: Joel (71) - He's really terrible at saving headers, but decent otherwise.
CB: Varane (81) - Sad to see him on the bench so frequently, but he's content thus far.
LB: Oviedo (74) - A pretty swell back up LB or CDM, and he's surprising good at tackling.
RM: Naismith (74) - Scores an absurd number of goals from the bench. It's weird because Bakkali dwarves him in comparison, but Naismith manages a goal every two games, so I'm always sure to bring him on if one of my wingers are tired.
CAM: Barkley (76) - Relegated to the bench, Barkley is a great player and provides real depth to my side. I usually bring him on to great success, and he's scored 2 goals already this season.
ST: Musa (77) - Definitely the worst out of my strikers, Musa just doesn't seem to be doing it or me. He has however had a valuable rise in form and bagged a brace, which is always a good sign of better things to come.
ST: Ezekiel (77) - Unstoppable. I swap Lukaku and Ezekiel every match and they're both fantastic. Ezekiel just beats his man so easily and scores with grace and precision. 98 acceleration, 97 sprint speed. I mean, what's not there to love?
I have very few reserves, with only Pienaar and Stones being particularly noteworthy.
Results so far in my third season:
Friendly: Inter 2-0 Everton
Friendly: Everton 1-1 Malaga
Community Shield: Everton 3-1 Liverpool
Premier League: Leicester City 0-1 Everton
Premier League: Everton 4-0 Aston Villa (De Sciglio red card)
Copa Europe: PSG 1-4 Everton
Everton vs Aston Villa was the start of my new formation. Notice a change?Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
I've been gone for a while but as I haven't played FIFA in about a month, but I got the itch again so now I'm back. I tried jumping back into my Arsenal CM where I moved them to League 2 but I don't think I can keep doing it.
My primary reason for doing it was because I wanted nice kits (yes, I'm that superficial), I got tired of being extremely poor, I wanted to start from the bottom, and I wanted to be able to build a good youth academy. However, their budget just makes it too easy. $30M in League 2? Yeah, ok.
So I'm open to suggestions on teams with good looking kits. The budget isn't that important because if I really want 5* scouts I can just put a great player on my team before beginning the CM and sell for bookoo loots when I start. It doesn't even have to be an English team. If you think it looks good feel free to let me know.
I gotta say, it's times like this I really miss playing on PC.Last edited by NightmareBooster; 02-26-2014, 02:19 PM.XBL GT: The Kingpin187Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
in all reality, i would leave MLS & Orlando City to have chance to compete in europe, champions league etc.... Then that would lead to other teams seeing you as well...
but In my Orlando CM I wanted to qualify for South American Champions League and compete in it before i make up my mind if im gonna leave.... So Im locked in for at least first 2 years to Orlando.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Alright. Year 5 with Zenit just started and I'm in a huge predicament. I did something (for lack of better words) where I just overstacked at positions. I'm TOO deep. I need some insight and advice on what to do with some of these players. I run a 4-4-2 Diamond Wide.
Goalkeepers:
