I have it set to Euros so about 18M at the lowest by what you are saying. I have about 25M in funds to use, possibly more if I request some funds. Hopefully I can squeeze him in.

    Thanks for the response!

Those are great signings. As a Chelsea fan, Thor really grows in FIFA and so does Lukaku. Currently in my CFC career (in 2020) Thor is a 86 and extremely pacing and I think either 84-86 finishing. You'll be pleased with both. The only thing I don't like about Lukaku, is he isn't pacing haha

So with CKSA, I tanked year two so I could get out of that club after some really greedy players ruined the club. I escaped to a two star Scottish team, Ross County, who was in last place, and so far in year three we're first. I'm looking to sign a young goalie and the main signings we made were Javier Hernandez from Manchester United and Andrew Farrell from NE. Javier is leading the league in scoring right now...

That's strange because in my career mode in 2020 Lukaku has 97 acceleration, 97 sprint speed and 94 strength he is an absolute beast

Oh I was talking about Thor in 2020, and that starting off Lukaku isn't pacy. But even in mine I think he's only in the 80's... But maybe that's due to me putting him on loan so many times.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Oh the frustration when everything is going great, and then you get blindsided!

I decided to start a German career mode. I chose Hertha BSC and moved them back down to the 2. Bundesliga to delay turning them into a big club too fast, and so I would be able to play derby matches against Union in the first season. I'm employing the strategy of trying to sign mostly German players, trying to keep my team at least 55% German, and otherwise signing players from leagues in countries surrounding Germany. I'm also making it a rule that I will not sim any matches this CM, except maybe friendlies or at the very end of the season if I've already clinched the title.

The first summer, Southampton offered my 7,000,000 for Adrian Ramos; I countered with 10, and they accepted. Oh well, I thought, and recalled Pierre-Michel Lasogga from loan and used that 10 mil to strengthen my squad.

January, and everything's going great. We got eliminated from the DP in the Round of 16 by Bayer 04, but that's the only match we've lost. Just beat Union Berlin 2-0 at home to bring our league record to 13-4-0, 12 points clear in first place. (While we're winning most of our matches, they've been mostly competitive 2-1, 1-0, etc.) Lasogga is the leading scorer in the league with 12 goals. He scored all 12 in the first 14 matches, but then hit a bit of a dry spell.

The Union match was the third in a row that Lasogga didn't score, but it was only enough to drop his form from "Excellent" to "Good." Still, his morale was "Very Happy." He had started every single match for us, and only got subbed off late in matches once the outcome was essentially secure.

So imagine my surprise when the day after the Union match I get a message from Lasogga demanding to be transferred in this window. I just signed him to a contract extension for more money last week, but I went to the contract screen to see if there's any way I can negotiate with him. Nope. "Submitted Transfer Request."

So I saved, exited CM, and found an autosave file. I loaded it, and it was the day after the Union match. Tried to offer Lasogga another extension with even more money, no dice. The very next day he submitted a transfer request. No matter how many times I reload, he requests a transfer. It's insane. His morale goes from "Very Happy" to "Leaving" or "Unsettled" in a day. Nothing seems to work.

Every time I get a message from the board telling me to sell him. I got offers from both Bayern and Dortmund, so I countered both asking for 25,000,000. Cheapskate Bayern countered with 17, so I accepted BVB's offer of 22.5. It kills me to see him go! He's been an absolute monster this year, and I've loved playing with him.

I guess the bright side is I was able to hang on to Ben-Hatira (my second-leading scorer, and the most assists in the league) and Kraft, despite offers from every good team in Europe. With the Lasogga money I was able to add Jung at RB, and since Wagner has been absolute crap for me this year, I bought everyone's CM darlings, Anthony Martial and Victor Andrade. I figure I will rotate them at ST, and occasionally deploy them both in a 4-4-1-1. I played one match with them, starting Martial and bringing on Andrade at the half. They were both OK, and Andrade scored our only goal in a 1-0 win after blowing past their back line. But still, they're no Lasogga.

Havent been playing much fifa, needed a break haha...

But to update, Im at Boca Juniors after leaving Orlando City, my time with Boca after 3 games have been great. Won all 3, including our group in the South American Champions League. Got to beat Orlando City in the third match, went down 2-0, came back and won 3-2, 94th minute cross missed my player, goalie dived cuz of the wiff, AND THE CROSS WENT IN FOR GOAL!! I could not believe it, we came back with 10 men! well we scored 2 of 3 with 10.

Checkout Sanchez Mino at LM from Boca, great skill, brilliant FK

Might be leaving as European season is ending, might be looking to join before transfer window and new season. I applied at Real Madrid 2 in the Spanish 2nd division.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Another update on my Milwall career (2nd Season):

Halfway through the season and I'm currently in 5th. We were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Arsenal. Last run of form:

                  Milwall v. Burnley W 3-1
                  Reading v. Milwall D 1-1
                  Sunderland v. Milwall L 2-0
                  Milwall v. Leeds W 3-0
                  Ipswich v. Milwall W 2-0
                  (Cup) Arsenal v. Milwall 4-0

I've also received offers from Egypt, Romania, Slovenia, and New Zealand. Not sure which offer I'm going to take; I've already played with New Zealand, so they are not an option for me. But I think I might do a challenge so either Egypt or Romania. If anyone has used any of these International teams, I would love some insight.

After winning another game with boca in the 90th minute, winning my first four games with the club, I decided to head to Europe. Dynamo in Russia & Reading in the championship turned me down. How ever Real Madrid Castilla offer me, I took the job. We sit 9th, 3 points back of 6th... 3rd through 6th play a 4 team playoff for promotion, top two automatically gain promotion...

                      12 games left.

                        Sunderland AFC: Nine Lives
                        Preseason 2013 Update

                        Sunderland 1-0 Elche
                        Ki 10'

The main point of this game was to see whose fitness needs improvement, but a win gives us an extra morale boost and the fans something to enjoy.

                        Osasuna 0-4 Sunderland
                        Fletcher 27', Bridcutt 30', Ki 38' 69'

We didn't expect to travel all the way to Spain and come back having thrashed a good side, but that's exactly what happened. Osasuna took it easy towards the end of the first half, and we capitalised on that.

                        Sunderland 4-2 Athletic Bilbao
                        Giaccherini 10' 61', Ki 22', Borini 83'
                        Toquero 12', Muniain 31'

Ki is on fire with his goals, making it four in three for a lad who's just here on loan. It was good to play around with the tactics and give some of the younger boys a chance, and Bilbao gave us a proper fight.

Hey guys, the squad and preseason updates are up.

From now on, I'll be updating at the end of every month with scores and match summaries, plus an analysis of the team's progress. There will be separate updates for transfer windows.

I'll also have press conference notes up at important junctures (purchase/sale of a major player, steps forward in the development project, trophy wins). Is there anything else you'd like to see?

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

After surprising everyone and winning my final 8 matches to pull out the Premier League Title at Stoke City, I decided to jump ship to Man. City after Stoke only gave me a budget of $20 million the following year. Stoke was a lot of fun for me, but I wanted to go somewhere where I could compete with the big boys in the Champion's Cup and get a better international gig. Ended up at Man City with a $120 budget and bought a few of my guys from Stoke (most notable one being Jordan Slew, who is an absolute god in this game). Ended up arranging transfer/swaps to bring in Balotelli and Neymar as well, so I have a devastating 3 man scoring attack between the two of them and Slew (who led the league in goals the prior year at Stoke and is once again leading the league so far through 9 matches at Man City).

Also jumped ship from Denmark to England. Could have gone to Argentina, but I couldn't resist being able to coach a lot of the guys that give me trouble in the Premier League.

Also changing up my formations. I ran a 4-5-1 at Stoke, but I'm running a 4-4-2 diamond now, with Slew and Balotelli as the strikers and Neymar as the CAM. It's taken me some getting used to, but I'm starting to figure out how to use the new formation and I'm starting to pick up a couple new skill moves to add to my repertoire.

                                Take Egypt!!!
                                Mohamed Salah!!
Egypt has some very nice players and securely the best choice out of the ones you mentioned
