Don't transfer list Ramirez either, clubs won't pay as much. You can get close to 20mil for him if you wait for a club to offer

Ok I won't transfer list him but there is only about 15 day left in the transfer window, if nothing happens before the last 5 days I think I do t have a choice but to list him and if there is nothing until the last day I will have to go for the swap because my need for sterling is greater that my need for Ramirez. My only proper winger atm is Jay Rodriguez

I also bought Thiago from Bayern And Januzaj From Man Utd.
Im surprised that Manchester let me buy him
Currently im in 2 place (14-3-1) 45 points
Manchester United is in 1 (15-1-2) 46 Points

i actually thinks there is something stupid in my fifa 14 career, Liverpool have sold Suarez and Sturridge. But they did buy Negredo from me.

Cardiff City: Return of the Bluebirds
          August Update

I've started up a Cardiff City career and am posting detailed reports in the dynasty forum. The basic premise for this career is that Vincent Tan has sold Cardiff and the new owners have restored the club to their traditional branding and kit colors.

If you want to read detailed reports and stories, please check out the link in my signature. I will be posting monthly updates here as well.

          Preseason Friendlies

          Cardiff City 4 - 0 Catania

          Medel 23', Mutch 29', Bellamy 45', Noone 83'

A good test match to see what the team is made of. I was proud to see four different players find the net.

          Monaco 2 - 1 Cardiff City
          Rodriguez 19', 84'
          Daehli 62'

I made 11 changes to the squad to give the subs a run-out. Hate to lose, but kind of take it as a moral victory to keep Falcao goalless.

          Cardiff City 1 - 1 Evian
          Bellamy 66’
          Blanc 74’

Rested my starters again and gave a bunch of the reserves and young guys a try. Bellamy scored just a few minutes after coming on as a sub.

          *****

          Barclays Premiere League

          West Ham United 1 - 1 Cardiff City 1
          Carroll 15'
          Medel 90'

Took a wonder strike from Gary Medel from the edge of the box to even up the score. I'm using Krebster's CTT, and West Ham really played realistically, parking the bus and not letting me get a sight of the goal. Was happy to earn the point.

          Cardiff City 2 - 5 Manchester City
          Campbell 45', 55'
          Negredo 12', 77', 90'; Silva 21'; Lescott (og) 56'

City took a 2-0 lead, but Campbell's goals on either side of halftime evened it up. I felt pretty confident until Lescott (who I bought in the transfer window) scored an unfortunate own goal. We never recovered, and could basically just watch Negredo score his hat trick.

I have my own set of custom sliders, but I can't post them as I'm at work. I play with 10-minute halves and full manual controls, all on slow. As for difficulty, I vary the setting.

              Legendary:

              - All games against Newcastle
              - Cup ties vs. PL sides
              - Home PL games vs. Chelsea, Man United/City, Spurs, Everton, Arsenal
              - Away PL games vs. other teams

              World class:

              - Preseason friendlies
              - Home PL games, except vs. the big six and Newcastle
              - Cup ties against lower-league sides

                Bluebirds supporter by any chance?

Either way, excellent write-up. Not the best of starts, but plenty of time to even things out. I find Cardiff's squad suffers from a severe lack of balance. Some wonderful midfielders but poor defence, and strikers are quite 50/50. Sign a good forward in January (recommend Morata on loan from R. Madrid) and you should be able to avoid relegation with comfort.

                  PRESS INTERVIEW

Reporter: "You had a chance to swap Gaston Ramirez for Raheem Sterling of Liverpool. Why didn't the deal go through?"
Pochettino: "Ramirez has been performing brilliantly in the last three games and proved to me that he should stay. We will try to sign Sterling in January however if the board will present us with some more money. We will have to wait and see if that happens."
Reporter: "Southampton has shown some good form in the first three games of the season beating West Brom and Norwich 2-1 and dispatching of Sunderland 7-1. What does these results mean to the team?"
Pochettino: "These great early results show us that the boards expectation of qualifying for the Euro League is a real possibility. If we can keep this kind of form going into this month I see no reason why that goal cannot be reached. Liverpool will be a particularly difficult challenge for is away from home but I believe the boys are up for the challenge, especially if we can beat West Ham and Aston Villa in the home games prior to the big match."
Reporter: "The first few games have seen several players rise up to the occasion. Who do you believe has been your best performers so far?"
Pochettino: "Wanyama and Schneiderlin has done an excellent job in the defensive midfield role for us so far. Dier and Clyne has impressed in defense while Jay Rodriguez, Ramirez and Wickham have been stars on the attack."
Reporter: "The acquisition of Wickham was an interesting one, especially seeing that Ricky Lambert was involved in the deal. What were your motives behind the deal?"
Pochettino: "I believe the addition of Wickham has been excellent. In only three games he has notched us 4 goals and 3 assists. I believe Lambert and Wickham are very similar players and that Wickham can become a dead ball specialist just like Lambert and great moving forward. Wickham was just a younger alternative to Lambert whom I wish the best of luck to with his new career at Sunderland."
Reporter: "A lot of your signings this transfer window has been young and English. Any reason behind that decision?"
Pochettino: "Here at Southampton I would like to keep the philosophy of young English talents at the club. I will continue to sign young English players while I am manager here at Southampton but will also attempt to make some star signings to accompany them."
Reporter: "Finally I would like to ask what type of playing stile you wish to bring to Southampton."
Pochettino: "I would love to make Southampton a very attacking based side that is feared on the counter and brilliant from the wings cutting in."
                  Reporter: "Thanks for your time."

Southampton Career Update September 27 Season 1

                      CAPITAL ONE CUP

                      Southampton 1 - 0 Aston Villa

                      Chalobah 63'

Bradley Guzan made a MOTM performance with 13 saves in goal for Aston Villa. It took a corner kick whipped in by James Ward-Prowse in the 81st minute to get Nathaniel Chalobah a goal who came in as a substitute in the 63rd minute. This is the first game Wickham has failed to put the ball into the back of the net for me.

                      BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE

                      Southampton 0 - 1 West Ham

                      Carroll 70'

Jay Rodriguez had an absolute shocker in front of goal. The winger missed 4 one-on-one opportunities. We dominated possession but an Andy Carroll header (it just had to be) put us behind and we couldn't get an equaliser. This was Connor Wickham's second game without a goal an his selection for the Liverpool coming up was in doubt.

                      Liverpool 1 - 0 Southampton

                      Suarez 9'

Second loss on the trot and Wickham failed to score in his 3rd game running. Liverpool dominated me with 60% possession. SAS was causing me massive trouble and when Suarez struck early they just kept hammering shots at Scuffet who did well to only concede 1. Scuffet hasn't got a clean sheet so far this season with backup Ondoa with the only clean sheet in the Capital One Cup tie against Aston Villa.

                      CAPITAL ONE CUP

                      Arsenal 0 - 5 Southampton

                      Mertesacker 🔴
                      Rodriguez 17', 26'
                      Ings 36', 59', 66'

Mertesacker got sent off in the 17th minute after a slide tackle from behind on Ings centimetres outside the box. Lallana took the free-kick, it hit one of the walls heads and rebounded to Rodriguez who slotted it into an empty net (the goalkeeper had dived). From then on the gap left by Mertesacker really showed as goal after goal came. Wickham was left out after his goal drought and Danny Ings came in and got himself a hat-trick. Might have to give him more starts. Ondoa kept his and the team's second clean sheet.

                      Press Conference next update

He has been playing really well so for the moment he is being kept. Will request 5-10 million funds in January from the board to sign Sterling. IF however I get a 15-20 million offer for Ramirez I will sell him an bring in Barkley and Sterling

Okay, so like everyone else, I'll start also posting my updates soon... probably after the Liverpool career or maybe after the first season. Anyway, here's a really quick recap on what I've done.

I'm at the end of February and I'm first in the league by 7 points. SAS are the top goal scorers! Got knocked out in the FA Cup semis by Chelsea and I'm in the COC final

                              Transfers in:
                              Rode
                              Danilo (RB)
                              Martial (loan)
                              Ruben Pardo

                              Transfers out:
                              Sama (loan)
                              Yesil (loan)

That's basically it... I'll start a new, more in-depth career soon... and I'm going to do it also like many else here

                                Thanks indiblue! I appreciate it.

I'm not a Cardiff supporter (actually Man City is my club) but I chose them for the struggle of keeping them up and the promising potential of a few of their youngsters. I've always been a big fan of traditions in sports, so Tan's decision to change their colors and try to create this new identity has always bugged me. I have a lot of sympathy for their supporters. And Malky Mackay.

Thanks for the suggestions too. Yeah, my defense is terrible! That's why my first priority was a higher-rated, left-footed CB, and Lescott was fairly cheap. I've played a few games into September, and it doesn't get any better. Also thanks for the tip on Morata. Campbell and Jones have been OK, but not great by any means. Cheers!
