Well, guys, my file corrupted. So that means, unless you, indiblue, [OR ANYBODY ELSE] wants to do the RMC, FCBB career, which I would obviously have to restart which I would be fine with. Although I don't think indiblue will because by the way he hasn't posted lately, I think he is either A: Doing some hardcore research. Or B: Already making storylines for his new CM. So, if nobody does want to do that, then I am just going to start a new one, and make sure I do NOT forget, to have two save files at all time. I'm going to look around for a little bit for a team to do, and I'll get back with you all when I discover that team.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Alright, well since I want to get started soon I just found four teams, and really want to hear which one you guys want to see. Here they are.
1. Southampton - Very high potential in this team. Would use most of the budget on youth scouts, as that is mostly what they are known for. I may bring in a small signing, or even a decent signing, but that'd be it.
2. Sunderland AFC - The team may not be the greatest, but there is money for improvements. Youth scouts would be key as well as a couple of signings.
3. Genoa C.F.C. - Once again, not the best team, but there is room for improvement. There is also money for improvement, and just like all of these teams, the youth academy is going to be key.
4. Udinese Calcio - This is definitely an interesting team. You have Di Natale, 35 years old, not worth very much. You have Luis Muriel, 22 years old, but has dropped from 81 to 74. He has 82 potential I believe, but I truly think you could get him much higher.
And with that, those are the teams I could START with, and I guarantee I will have 2 save files. Thank you, and have a good day.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
A Powerful Defender
David Luiz has signed for Newcastle in what many are calling a bargain of the summer. The defender cost the club £6 million to sign on a 3 year deal. When asked about the transfer Jamie said, "I was looking for a replacement for Mapou so I enquired about Luiz. Chelsea said £50 million so I laughed and offered 6. They accepted it. What kind of idiot would agree with £50 million for anyone other than the top 7 players in the world, Ronaldo, Messi, Ribery, Zlatan, Bale, Suarez and James."
Oh and great job on your career mode mate, I'm thinking about doing a similiar layout as yours on my everton career mode on Page 305 or something, but I wanted to know is Sissoko any good? May buy him for depth on the CM/CDM/RW spot for Everton - very versatile - and another player I'm looking at is Roux - for backup as Defoe and Kone are getting on a bit :/ so what are your thoughts mate? Any other opinions welcome also of anybody on the forum!!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Guys, I've developed an incredible system of play. It's a mix of the 2004-06 Chelsea, the 2009-11 Barcelona, and the 2012-14 Bayern. You play short, neat passes across a compact midfield that stretches wide in order to create chaos.
Start with your standard 4-1-4-1.
DEFENCE
Move your RB & LB two clicks up and one click closer to their respective touchlines. Move the RCB and LCB two clicks towards their respective full backs.
Work rates: Give both full backs H/M and attacking runs forward. Your centre backs can be either H/M + M/H or M/M + M/H; just make sure one of them is M/H.
MIDFIELD
Move your RCM to the halfway line, push him out towards the right until he can't go any further, and move 6 clicks up. Do the same for the LCM, but move him 10 clicks up. Place the CDM at the halfway line, move him back 6 clicks and up (towards the LB & LM) 1 click. This replicates the arrangement of Barcelona's midfield shape.
The CDM can be either M/H or M/M, but make sure his defensive run tracks back between the RCB and LCB. This will make him a third CB. The RCM is M/M or H/H and should track back in defense, and the LCM is H/M.
ATTACK
Move the RM & LM up until they can't go any further without becoming RW & LW. Keep the striker where he is.
Work rates: Wide men and striker all need high attacking work rates. Adjust their defensive work rates based on how you want them to play. I have a H/H striker who links up with the midfield, a H/M winger on the left, and a H/L winger on the right. Both wingers need attacking runs towards goal.

Did they seriously say they wanted 50 million?! If they did and they accepted six they must have problems lmfao

Also, Sissoko is amazing. I play him in the centre but he works better on the right because he uses his power to drive forward. I can't really say much about Roux yet though as I have only used him onceComment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
They didn't seriously ask for it, I was joking about PSG paying £50 million for him in real life

Oh and as for Sissoko - deffinately going to buy him, I enjoy using less natural wingers that have presence about them - exactly like Sissoko so cheers mate! You on the ps3/4 or 360/1?!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
I vote for Southampton. I like that your focus will be on the academy just like they do in real life, but that does make me raise one question. Are you going to hold on to your prospects, including current players such as Shaw, Lallana, Chamers, etc., or are you going to allow them to be sold if the top teams in the EPL put in offers? If you allow them to be sold to the big clubs then that would be along the lines of how it works in real life, but I know how hard that is to let your great prospects move on.Comment

Blackpool Career Mode 2016/17
Premier League: 1st, 92 points (29W, 5D, 4L)
Capital One Cup: Out 4th round to Aston Villa (2-1)
FA Cup: Won vs Arsenal 1-0 (Martial '120)
Champions Cup: Won vs Real Madrid 1-1 (5-3 pens)
Blackpool Career Mode 2017/18
Manager Edgar Given £96m Warchest to Take Blackpool to New Heights
Overachievers Blackpool have been given a hefty amount of money to strengthen their squad, where Blackpool's chairman, Karl Oyston, has challenged manager Edgar to achieve an unprecedented quadruple.
Oyston: "With the way the Tangerines have been playing under Edgar, I see no reason why we can't grab the quadruple, especially with 96m to aid our squad. There is no doubt that we can't give it a good go. No doubt at all."
Rumours suggest that this money will be spent on an influx of marquee signings. With Gotze, Varane, Coutinho and Gundogan already added this summer due to some smart pre-contract business, The Sun and Telegraph both hint at a raid of Liverpool, with Edgar interested in Sturridge, Pogba, Varane and Suso.
2 New Players Join the Tangerine Renaissance
Today the Blackpool Twitter Page and official website announced the signings of Paul Pogba from Liverpool for £33m and Adnan Januzaj from Barcelona for an undisclosed fee rumoured to figure around £20m.
Pogba's move has more than invigorated the belief that Kevin Volland, who has been at Blackpool since 2013, will move on after being surplus to requirements. Pogba joins a collection of talented Blackpool midfielders, such as Gundogan, Gotze, Malanda and Coutinho. Just quite where Pogba will fit in is currently open to speculation.
Januzaj's arrival will qualm many Blackpool fans' nerves, as Blackpool were without a named left midfielder for the whole of the last year, using RW Kelvin and LW youth prospect Damian as stop-gap replacements. After being relatively underused in Spain, a move to Blackpool has been seen by many as very intelligent, as Januzaj is sure to get playing time.
Edgar puts a stop to Schar Rumours
While speculation has continued surrounding the notion that Schar would make a swift return to Blackpool, manager Edgar has told the press that he has no interest in the talented defender.
Edgar: "No. He only recently moved to Liverpool and he's happy there. I've spoken to him about how he's feeling and he's enjoying life in Liverpool, despite what the press is making you think. I'm far more interested in other defenders, though I won't give names just yet! I wish Schar all the best in the future."
With the £1m sale of Veljkovic to Swansea, there is seemingly a need for another defender, where many fans believe that both Zouma and Downing are now not strong enough for first team football when compared to the rest of Blackpool's squad, despite Zouma's stellar form. While there are a few rumours circulating about Eric Dier as a defensive choice for Edgar, the manager is keeping quiet.
De Sciglio in; Matthews out
The Blackpool Twitter page and Official Website were keen to announce this morning the signing of De Sciglio for £38m from AC Milan. The talented RB was named in the FIFA Balon D'or last year, and for good reason. Notching up 13 assists, 2 goals and 12 clean sheets last season has had many top clubs interested in signing him. However, it was Blackpool who snatched him up, being the only club to not turn their noses up at the huge sum AC Milan were asking for.
However, the news is bittersweet. Fan-favourite Adam Matthews, who only had a short one year spell at the club, was announced to have officially moved on to Lazio for £16.5m. Having joined the club for £9m, many fans and pundits view the transfer as good business on both ends, with Blackpool making profit on Matthews while snatching up a world-class fullback, and Lazio obtaining a talented RB for a reasonable sum of money.
"No Strikers", States Edgar
Manager Edgar has put an end to rumours over the purchase of Sturridge, or any other striker, stating that he feels Blackpool have the strikeforce necessary to compete for the quadruple already.
Edgar: "We have Martial. Goodwillie has been in stellar form, Ricardo Pastore has tons of potential I want to utilise. He's been unhappy recently about his playtime and I've listened to him. I don't feel we need another striker. We scored the most goals in the league last year, so it is obvious that scoring goals do not pose a problem"
Many fans have stated their dismay at Edgar's reluctance to purchase another striker, with Goodwillie thought to be less than ideal as a backup striker. Pastore's wobbly form has also raised some doubts.
Blackpool Get Rid of Deadwood
Following the sale of McMahon to Fleetwood, the last few days have seen Chris Cabella, Nelson Palacios and Jorge Gavilan all leave the club for a combined total of over £1.5m. This is good news for many Blackpool fans who believe that the players mentioned were surplus to requirements at the club.

Speaking of Udinese, I don't get EA some times. Di Natale scored seventeen goals in Seria A --> get downgrated by five I think. In the other hand, Torres scored five goals in the Premier League --> stays the same through whole year. And I won'te even get started on Soldado, Torres and many other strikers who scored many goals less than Adrian Ramos but are still rated three overalls higher than him. And then players like Pique and Illarramendi get high ratings because they play for good teams. I'm getting annoyed at EA being biased.

I think it really would depend on the offer, and on the player. I would value Shaw and Chambers higher than Lallana, and being an Arsenal fan I really would not like to let go of Chambers at all, also with that being said, I would want to get back some of those players from Arsenal like Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain. It would be interesting, and really, I think these two are targets for the next career I do no matter what team. I'm thinking I'm not going to do either of the two Serie A teams because I've been watching Arsenal highlights for the past 3 hours, and really would like to stay in the league and compete against them, as well as even semi-model them. I'll leave it at that, so it is between Southampton and Sunderland.Comment
