Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Enner Valencia is a good player and he should cost about 1-2 million pounds. He's fast and a good finisher at 71 overall I think. Another option would be Adrian Ramos who's price is about 4-6 million. He's fast, strong, good finisher and good at heading.
Good signings but do you really need two more wingers? Maybe a CM or a defender would have been more useful? But I'm sure the Arsenal duo will play out well and I'm not judging you!
Maybe centre allign all the texts? It looks better and it's easier to read. And I'd suggest using the default font (size 2) in the text.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
And that comes to the end of month 2. No transfers that month, as I am satisfied with the team. The front 3 have been absolutely amazing [The Ox, Altidore, and Walcott. The Ox and Walcott have been assisting each other left and right, and Altidore has had some AMAZING goals. As well as Walcott, I ran down the Right Wing with him, the goalie was on the right side, still in the net, and I chipped it with Walcott to the left side of the net, and it just went over the keeper and fell into the net, he didn't have a chance. Altidore's first goal was pretty confusing to me. Larsson wound up and shot the ball from well out the 18, and to me at first glance it looked like it just went top right and beat the keeper. However, they gave Altidore the goal. I went back to replay, and when I watched it again, as Larsson shot, Altidore jumped to get out of the way, but it caught his right hip, deflected perfectly, and went top right, without the keeper even moving. NOW, on another note, I was awarded manager of the month, and I was told Belgium was about to offer me a job. I plan to decline and wait until I get a better offer, even though Belgium is a good team. My next match is my first rivalry, against our biggest Rivals. Arsenal. If you have any possible names for the rivalry, I would appreciate to hear them. 2 days later I have a Champions League group stage game against Inter. I'll mention more about Champions League in my next update. But at this moment I prioritize my rivalries ahead of Champions League group stage.
I hope you enjoyed, have a good day.Comment

TOON TO THE TOP
SEASON 2
Match 7
Southampton 1-1 Newcastle
Rodriguez 15
Roux 36
Rodriguez opened the scoring after an error by Debuchy but Rouz volleyed in on the rebound to equalise. And then came the Begovic show, save after save for the Bosnian keeper.
Match 8
Newcastle 0-1 Cardiff
Berget 10
Cardiff got an undeserved win through a scrappy goal. We just couldn't get the ball past Marshall.
Match 9
Hull 1-1 Newcastle
Gutierrez 37
Aluko 81
For God's sake. We just can't win this month. Gutierrez slotted in after some brilliant play but Aluko equalised, firing into the roof of the net.
Champions League Match 3
Real Madrid 3-1 Newcastle
Suarez 13
De Jong 33
Ronaldo 49 (pen)
Alonso 65
Suarez curled in the opener but De Jong, back from injury, chipped Casillas to equalise. Ronaldo converted a dubious penalty before Alonso slid in after a bad clearance.
Match 10
Newcastle 3-0 Aston Villa
Depay 15
Aubameyang 30
Depay 69
Depay headed in the opener before Aubameyang ran clear to smash in. Depay then struck from distance to make it 3. Unfortunately, the big man in defence David Luiz broke his tibia and will be out for 5 months.
Match 11
QPR 1-2 Newcastle
Depay 18
Austin 20
Aubameyang 31
Depay opened the scoring when he curled in but a ball over the top caught out the defence and Austin smashed in. Aubameyang curled in from close range for the winner.
Champions League Match 4
Inter 0-2 Newcastle
Ameobi 59
De Jong 84
In a thrilling, important match, we took the lead when Schmelzer crossed in from the byline and Ameobi headed home. It was made 2 late on when De Jong expertly chipped in with the outside of his foot.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Just wondering real quick, has anybody ever used Thorgan Hazard? He looks pretty good on paper and thinking about bringing him in to the club but not too sure about him.Comment

Thanks for the advice that's what I'll probably end up doing. I watched some highlights of him irl and he looks pretty good, but we know EA can't always be 100%, however they are usually pretty good.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Yup, yup, I aswell cant wait for them in Fifa 15 [Arsenal for the league title ?] Haha. And yeah, best of luck the the U.S. in this for the W.C., but I'm hoping to manage England, and continue to improve Walcott and Ox from there. I also have a prospect in my youth academy who is from England 82-94 potential, and then another from Argentina 81-94 potential, Argentinan a CAM and then the English is a CM/LM who is good at free kicks [The next Beckham?]. The unfortunate part is, as of right now, Walcott/Ox haven't moved for progression. I'm thinking this will change if they keep having the year their having, so I hope they do. That's about all I got hahah.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?
Dude! First of all, loved seeing your academy even before I realized I inspired you. It's now mutual my man.
I gotta say that while I'm enjoying your CM you are also really setting that bar real high for the rest of us. Amazing results so far! Is Rondon still at Zenit? If so look out for him, he can be a load! Good luck!
Oh, I'm really looking forward to seeing how Vincent progresses when you pass May 1st. No doubts that he'll be on the senior squad next season!
Haha thanks man! I couldn't find my update where I used my layout for the YA and I couldn't remember how I did it so I had to find a new way.
I actually wasn't expecting to get this far this year. In League 1 I gave the cup competitions a lot of importance because of the prize monies not for European qualification and I ended up qualifying for Europe without even knowing until you guys told me lol I just played the 1st leg against Zenit and wow it's been perhaps the most difficult match I've had in this tournament. (Even though Wolfsburg kicked my butt, the match wasn't as tense as this one.) QPR is right on our tails in the league where we have slipped a little due to giving the Europa league priority. Only 1 point separates us and there's 2 games left :0
I don't remember if Rondon was in Zenit's 11, but they still gave a dangerous match.
Definitely will! Hopefully he gets a good boostComment
