    And as for the backstabbing thing, I'm staying on '14 until I finish what I started with Wimbledon. I didn't go 5 seasons in just to quit! The girlfriend already confirmed she will buy it for me, but I even told her I still have things to do with '14. My exact words were "I can't just backstab Rabbit like that! We made a pact!" Okay maybe not my exact words but something along those lines haha

        Haha very similar thought process for me. I was originally getting a NG on like Black Friday or something, hoping for a decent deal. So I was debating getting '15 on old gen. Then I rationalized a bit about spending THAT much when my 360 is fine rn!

See, I think I could do another Wimbledon because there has been a lot of changes to the squad. For example Akinfewa is in the squad now and some other good additions too like Tubbs and Rigg, but key players from my career like Jack Midson, Luke Moore, Seb Brown, and Aaron Morris aren't there anymore so it should feel like a completely different challenge. Another key thing that I really liked, is that all but 2 players are English. I'll be able to imply my UK-only transfer policy a lot faster this time

          I'm with you on that, I can't imagine using any one other than Wimbledon in League 2. I must say I dislike Wimbledon's goalkeeper kit. It's basically the same as in '14 but in orange. Oh well.
          At whatever point in the future I do get 15, I'll probably stick with Morecambe. But, if I decided to go with another club, I've thought of a pretty good backstory to make it work. But like I've said, that's all a ways off.

            How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

            April 2018 - Season 5

            Manchester City 1 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
            MCI: Milner 24'
            WIM: Murphy 45' Gornell 55'
            An exciting match at the Etihad between two direct rivals at the top of the table. Manchester City hit first through James Milner who managed to find himself open in the goalkeeper's box due to bad positioning by Tafazolli and then beat the Dons goalkeeper in a 1 on 1. Milner continued to challenge goalkeeper Christophe Brown with long shots but the young Scottish keeper was able to handle those that were on target. It looked like the favorites would be taking the win, but Wimbledon responded right before the halftime whistle with Jacob Murphy heading a cross from Luke James. Only 10 minutes later, Terry Gornell gave Wimbledon the lead by heading in a cross right in front of City's goalkeeper Begovic. Begovic was recently brought in from Stoke City since City have been struggling after Joe Hart's departure, but it was Begovic's mistake that allowed Gornell to head the ball in. Manchester City made a final push for the equalizer in the final minutes of the match and had the Wimbledon fans and players worried, but they weren't able to break through the Wombles and lost the match.

            Europa League - Quarter Final
            AFC Wimbledon 3(7) - 1(2) Celtic
            WIM: Ruiz 23' James 62' Clayton 89'
            CEL: Pukki 24'
            AFC Wimbledon have comfortably walked over Scottish champions Celtic to reach their 2nd Europa League semifinal. Celtic's Callum McGregor was hoping to impress Chavez to maybe get himself a starting spot with the Scotland national team, but the Dons defenders didn't give him any space to work with and forced him to a poor performance. Celtic never stood a chance after the first leg. AFC Wimbledon will now face AS Monaco in the semifinals, but due to tight scheduling with the FA Cup semifinal fixture we are still unsure which lineup Chavez will use. Liverpool and Manchester City make up the other Europa League semifinal fixture.

            AFC Wimbledon 4 - 2 Fulham
            FUL: Woodrow 13' Cisse 45'
            WIM: Yanga-M'biwa OG 45' Freeman 79' Vokes 82' 90'
            Fulham took the lead early on and later stretched it to a comfortable 2-0. Wimbledon made a final attempt before halftime to get back into the game though with Elliott Hewitt racing down the right wing and crossed the ball into the box but there was no teammates nearby. Fulham's Yanga-M'biwa knew that nobody was near to pressure him, and so tried to control the cross instead of clearing it. He made a bad touch with his left foot which caused the ball to hit his right foot and go into his own net! Even though Wimbledon were pushing for an equalizer in the second half and had 55% possession, Fulham's goalkeeper was never worried as Wimbledon had only managed 1, yes one, shot on goal the entire match. That statistic changed though when Max Clayton was fouled 23 yards from the goal and Luke Freeman took the free kick wonderfully to hit the post and score. The Wombles kept the momentum going and flipped the scoreline in the final minutes of the game to take the 3 points!

            Newcastle United 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
            WIM: Clayton 89'
            What a match! Newcastle and Wimbledon usually play great matches when they meet, but this is the first time they meet without Newcastle's top striker Jackson Martinez who has recently left the Toon for Bayern Munich. His presence has been missed by Newcastle, who were fighting for a Champions League spot in the first half of the season but quickly fell out of the top 5 after January. Both teams played very well today but Wimbledon grabbed a late winner through their super sub Max Clayton who was allowed to get a header near the goal despite his low stature.

            FA Cup Semifinal
            AFC Wimbledon 1 - 2 Tottenham
            WIM: Harvey 5'
            TOT: Paulinho 30' Townsend 42'
            The cup run is over for the defending champions as they have been eliminated by Tottenham. The Dons took an early lead through Tyler Harvey who started this match due to fatigue in Wimbledon's midfield, but Tottenham were able to flip the scoreline before halftime. Wimbledon were close to equalizing in the final 10 minutes of the match but Lloris and his defense were solid at the back and were able to hold them off even with young speedster Max Clayton on the field. Tottenham will now face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

            Europa League Semifinal
            AS Monaco 3 - 4 AFC Wimbledon
            ASM: Bernard 41' 84' Leandro 54'
            WIM: Harvey 45' L. Moore 68' Clayton 76' Vokes 78'
            Chavez made another risky decision in choosing his B team for the first leg of the semifinal, but once again the B team came through for him and Wimbledon have taken one step into the Europa League final! Wimbledon had struggled to break through the French defense, which made it very surprising to see Max Clayton put Wimbledon ahead for the first time in the 76th minute, and then Sam Vokes extended the lead only 2 minutes later! Monaco were able to get one back to keep them alive going into the 2nd leg, but weren't able to stop Wimbledon from getting 4 very valuable away goals. Wimbledon are close to reach their first ever Europa League final and break their Europa League record. In the other semifinal fixture, Liverpool and Manchester City tied at 1 goal.

            AFC Wimbledon 5 - 2 Tottenham
            TOT: Townsend 5' Paredes 36'
            WIM: Vincent 20' 60' James 29' 90' Gornell 49'
            AFC Wimbledon have avenged their FA Cup elimination by achieving their biggest win over Tottenham in their entire history. This time it was Tottenham who grabbed an early lead, but youth academy graduate Shaun Vincent took advantage of the space given to him by the Spurs defenders and took a weak foot long shot that curved away from Lloris and into the net. This was not Lloris's day, as he was unable to record any saves tonight. Wimbledon took 5 shots on goal, all 5 were on target, and all 5 went into the net. On the other side, Christophe Brown played an amazing match despite receiving two goals. The young Scottish goalkeeper has been in excellent form, raising his hand for a spot in the World Cup roster. The win was celebrated by the Wimbledon players, not only because this is the first time they defeat Spurs and by a large margin, but because this win has sent them up to 3rd place in the league table, the highest this club has ever been in the Premier League. "This is a huge win for us. We've been going toe to toe with Tottenham this season and with Chavez we knew we could finally defeat them. The first time we faced them we climbed back from a 3-0 and made it 3-3. This last time we played them they were barely able to take the win even though we were the better team and their strikers were barely able to make any damage. This time around, we were finally able to get a scoreline that reflects our performance against them and most importantly we are in a Champions League position. It's not ever yet though. There are still 18 points left to dispute and we'll need to be at the top of our game to keep it this way." - Ryan Tafazolli, CB.

            Europa League Semifinal
            AFC Wimbledon 2(6) - 0(3) AS Monaco
            WIM: Ruiz 8' Gornell 86'
            They have done it! Wimbledon are now in the Europa League final for the first time in their entire history!! Monaco played a close match against the Wimbledon B team, but now against the first team they were no match and couldn't get a shot past young goalkeeper Christophe Brown who's been outstanding lately. In the other semifinal fixture, Manchester City defeated Liverpool 3-1 at The Etihad. AFC Wimbledon have achieved the league double over City, but the stakes will be much higher this time around as will the intensity.

            Swansea City 1 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
            WIM: Vokes 50'
            SWA: Beric 84'
            The Wimbledon B team played very passive football and failed to challenge Swansea goalkeeper Ruffier. This marks the second draw between these two clubs this season. Wimbledon dropped two very important points and have thus fell out of 3rd place. They are now in 4th, which is still a Champions League spot. Chavez looked very frustrated with the way his team played tonight, particularly with the way his team lost control of the match after substituting in Aaron Morris, Max Clayton, and Barry Fuller who has been rejecting all contract renewals offered to him since February. After the substitutions Swansea took control of the match which then led to the equalizing goal.

            Notable Youth Academy Players
            * = Players that will be promoted. Comments added.

            Ben Sweeney - CM (58-70, 78-94): At only 15 years old this midfielder from England has already been labeled as being gifted technically. He hasn't made any appearances with the U-17 yet, so we can only speculate how good he really is base on the youth staff's reports.

            Chris McGinn - CDM/LM (59-65, 84-94): The 16 year old from Northern Ireland has recently joined the Wimbledon academy so we are still learning from his playing style.

            *Conor Marsden - ST (54-58, 73-77): I was hoping he'd get a bigger boost this May but given his potential I understand why he only went up 4 points. He'll be promoted this month and sent out on loan this summer. He's been 17 years old for most of this season so I doubt he'll be willing to stay another year in the academy. At 6'4" he will become a very dangerous striker, but he's gonna need more time to get to that level.

            *Dean Rhodes - LB (66-70, 86-92): Will promote him this month. He should be good enough to fit in the B team while he develops for the first team.

            Jamie Mannus - CDM (60-64, 82-88): This 15 year old from Northern Ireland has a bright future ahead of him. He stands at 6'5" and prefers playing as a defensive midfielder. Competition between him and Sean Archer in the U-17 is very close, with Mannus being more defensive minded. We expect great things from these two players.

            *Mark Watt - GK (57-61, 79-85): This player hardly grew as well. He's spent two seasons in the academy already, so I'll promote him but send him out on loan.

            Matt Cameron - CAM (56-60, 76-82): The 15 year old from England is one of the most recent signings to the youth academy and we're still learning from the attacking midfielder.

            *Michael Thompson - CAM/CF (63-67, 82-88): Really happy with his growth. He's 17 years old now and labeled as physically strong. He'll be promoted this month and the preseason will decide whether he stays with the club or goes out on loan.

            Ruaidhri Mannus - DEF/MID (56-70, 75-93): It is still to be confirmed but it looks like this is Jamie Mannus's older brother. 17 year old from Northern Ireland has recently joined the academy and has not decided on a position yet.

            Scott McGabe - CDM (57-71, 76-94): The 16 year old from Scotland has been compared his compatriot Sean Archer as they both have similar playing styles. Both are defensive, playmaking, midfielders.

            *Scott Stewart - LB (64-68, 80-86): My last promotion for this season. The B team allows too many goals (7-5 vs Villa, 4-3 vs Monaco) so I'm open to any changes in that back line. Might be sent out on loan depending on his stats.

            Sean Archer - CDM (61-65, 85-91): The 15 year old from Scotland is an incredible playmaker who prefers to stay in the defensive half and analyze the game from there. He's one of the most exciting players in the U-17 but he will not be eligible to be registered with the senior squad until next season.

            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            Only 1 point separates 3rd and 4th place, which will be disputed between Chelsea and Wimbledon in the first match of the month. Chelsea took the win last time the two faced each other, but Wimbledon defeated Chelsea earlier this season for the Community Shield.
            Mario Ruiz (72) has been putting in some very impressive performances and even getting himself a few goals lately. The young youth academy graduate has yet to receive a call up to the Mexican national team, but with these kinds of performances he's been really pushing to catch Miguel Herrera's eye and earn himself a spot for the World Cup roster.
            AFC Wimbledon have tried to renew Barry Fuller's contract several times this season, progress was being made, but then Fuller's agent got in the middle of it and Fuller has yet to extend his contract with the team where he lived his glory days. The ex-captain wants to continue playing football, while Wimbledon want him to retire and become the Head of Youth Development given the outstanding job he did with Elliott Hewitt when the youngster first joined Wimbledon from Gillingham, Fuller's ex club as well. Michael Flanagan, the youth scout that found incredible players like Mario Ruiz and Diego Ortiz, has asked for an opportunity to leave his position as Head of Youth Development with the club to look for coaching opportunities and pursue a management career. If Fuller is to be given the job, it could allow Flanagan to chase his ambitions.
            That's pretty much all I have for now.
            Thanks for Reading!
              Exactly! I mean, there's nothing wrong with my PS3 at all. Works fine and it's awesome even though it's "old gen." As long as they're still making games for PS3/360, I don't see the need to change. Or maybe I'm just cheap. Haha
                Hey man, thanks a lot. I really enjoyed your career, one of my favourites. You had some wild success, and I hope I can match some of that. So far, I'm finding that offers are not coming for a lot of the players I want to sell, so it seems I may be starting over with the first transfer window disabled. Hopefully, by the time January rolls around, a couple of them will be playing decently enough that they'll have a few bids.
                  0-2 in the pre-season with Orlando City n FIFA 15, the first game was with our best line up at the momment and we played a 1-2 first half, and thats how the game finished.. 2nd game with reserve defenders, and a false 9 cuz Dom Dwyer went down sore knee first game, we scored in first 2 min, Julian Green goal from a brilliant cross from LB Jario, Pirlo like pass. We were able to hold them off the scoreboard untill 45th minute 1-1 halftime... game ended 1-4 loss on the road,
                  both to portugese sides. I put my CB Valentino for sale quick, played all game 5.0 rating. hahaha
                      Top 4! 1 month left, you can do it! And wow great job on reaching the Europa League final. You are going to win a European trophy before me!
                      I hope you know that this forum expects nothing less than the European trophy and a Champions League spot next year!
                      Also looking at your academy. Don't you hate how many CDM's this game gives you? It does the same thing to me I swear. They make it so hard to find any outside players.
                            I probably won't be able to make you feel it but those two months were INTENSE. I started by playing the B team against Valladolid and paid for it as they were unable to get the 3 points. We weren't able to improve our game against our next opponent (Valencia) and the draw was probably fair. Luckily we were able to take the next step against Deportivo and hit our stride against Getafe, though that 2nd leg against Real Murcia was a lot more difficult than we anticipated. Call me crazy but these clubs play you a lot tougher in these cups.
                            We then entered January, meaning the winter transfer window was open, and that's when the drama started. Right away AC Milan came in offering $23.5 million for Zeshin Yamura, who as you may know is the pride of my academy. 80 OVR at just 19 years old, he continues to be tagged as someone who has potential to be special. The board advised that his value was probably between $27-40 million but to be honest I didn't really want to get rid of him. Nevertheless I told Milan that if they had $60 million he was theirs ... they countered with $23.9 - yeah, they only upped their offer by $400K. I lowered the tag to $50 million but they resent their last offer at which point those negotiations were over. Coincidentally enough a couple of days later Yamura messages me asking me to look at his wages as he thinks he deserves to be paid better. I agree, so I go see what he's asking for: $20K ... thing is, I'm already paying him $22.5K. Weird, but hey I want to please him so I offer the extension at $20K wages. He responds by saying he's decided to play out his contract and will move at the end of it. That was definitely unexpected and odd as he still has 4 more years in his contract after this season. But ok, I said I would just let this play out. A few days later he messages me saying he won't be a distraction and will continue to give his all for the team. A few days later I figured it's a good time to re-visit his contract situation, this time I actually offer him a raise even though he's still demanding less than what he makes; the response comes from the board saying Yamura's agents contacted them to let them know the player won't be entertaining an extension. Ok, well I guess I'll just re-visit the issue in a couple of years and hopefully Yamura has changed his mind. That's the end of that, drama adverted.
                            Or so I thought.
                            The very next day, like a bucket of cold water, Leandro Paredes informs us that he feels his time at the club is up and he'd like to be moved in this window. Mind you that he drops this on us just before the Zaragoza game with 10 days left before the end of the transfer window. The board told me they wouldn't force my hand and leave it up to me but I really didn't want to deal with this drama for the rest of the season. It sucked to get this news because Paredes was arguably our best player and one of our leading scorers and assist men. Barcelona, Sporting and Inter sent offers but in the end I sold Paredes to PSG for $55 million. It felt surreal. Obviously there was now a void at CAM: who would play there? Yamura I thought was the logical choice though I hated the idea of moving him from RM where he's excelled the last couple of seasons. With a good chunk of money available to spend I went after Angel Correa from San Lorenzo and was able to work out a quick deal with the club and the player. I still had leftover money which I used for other transactions (see below). Correa made his debut in the cup game against Athletic and as you see scored a goal in that game. Here's the highlight:
                            <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/04K5ORzbAIo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
                            TRANSFERS OUT: Fabian Lopez (CAM, 61 OVR), sold to SC Cambuur for $275K. Jose Romero (CM, 68 OVR), sold to Levante for $1.1 million. Oscar Carniello (CB, 75 OVR), sold to Real Zaragoza for $2 million. Leandro Paredes (CAM, 86 OVR), sold to PSG for $55 million. Francisco Catarino (RM, 59 OVR), sold to FC Vestsjælland for $130K. Martin Costa (CAM, 68 OVR), sold to San Lorenzo in Angel Correa acquisition. Omar Gonzalez (CB, 75 OVR), sold to AC Milan in Jherson Vergara acquisition.
                            TRANSFERS IN: Nicola Lancini (LB, TBD), agreed 3-year deal with $35K wages in pre-contract. Angel Correa (CAM, 82 OVR), acquired from San Lorenzo for $25 million + Costa, agreed to 5-year deal with $70K in wages. Jherson Vergara (CB, 79 OVR), acquired from AC Milan for $12 million + Gonzalez, agreed to 3-year deal with $130K in wages. Niklas Sule (CB, 66 OVR), acquired from Hoffenheim for $800K, agreed to 4-year deal for $8K in wages.
                            I continue to find ways to sell academy products who aren't in my long term plans (Lopez, Romero, Catarino, Costa). I knew I was going to sell Carniello because he wasn't going to be happy on my bench when he is similarly rated to my starters. As much as I enjoyed Omar Gonzalez's dominance through the air, he was about to turn 31 and his ratings were starting to decrease so it was time to move on. Vergara is higher rated, younger, and only 2 inches shorter at 6'3". Sule replaces Carniello as the main backup CB while Lancini is expected to come in to challenge Traore for the starting LB spot.
                            There have been no scouting trips since our last update but there has been some movement in the academy. Here's the youth squad:
                            - Bart Gorter (CAM, 64-68, 86-92): 16 Y/O from Netherlands labeled as a playmaker is an exciting prospect who could be a contributor next season.
                            - Lansana Afrani (LB, 62-66, 87-93): 16 Y/O from Cameroon would have a much quicker chance to make an immediate impact if he had the pace to play fullback. His ratings suggest he'll fit best at CB.
                            - Javier Marquez (CB, 47-51, 84-94): 16 Y/O from Venezuela has been better than anticipated so far and is already settled at a position. High-ceiling prospect.
                            - Juan Aguilar (CM, 42-52, 81-94): 16 Y/O from Venezuela is now settled at a position.
                            - Kyle Buwalda (LW, 55-59 76-82): 16 Y/O from the Netherlands needs to stay in the academy all season, likely to be a loan candidate when promoted.
                            - Jens Stevens (LM, 54-58, 73-79): 16 Y/O from Netherlands thought of as a playmaker.
                            - Joey Hoesen (LW, 54-58, 71-75): 16 Y/O from Netherlands who will probably never play for the club, likely to be sold shortly after promotion.
                            - Samuel Amodako (LM/LW, 53-57, 70-74): 17 Y/O from Cameroon is still being developed.
                            - Jomar Mayat (LW 52-56, 72-76): 16 Y/O from Cameroon who we're hoping to develop as a striker.
                            - Ivan Contreras (CB, 37-43, 68-80): 17 Y/O from Venezuela is now settled at a position where his 6'2" frame is best suited.
                            - Victor Jimenez (CM, 33-39, 68-80): 15 Y/O from Venezuela will is now settled at a position but not developing as we hoped.
                            - Fernando Romero (CAM, 40-50, 64-80): 15 Y/O from Venezuela who we had hoped would be a striker.
                            * Denotes recent addition to the Y.A.
                            Andre Meirelles (CM, 66 OVR, An Exciting Prospect), Adam Lee (CDM, 58 OVR), and Markus Goretzka (CB, 58 OVR) were promoted and loan listed but no offers came for them. Meirelles is the only one likely to play for the team this season and actually already had his first appearance at the last cup game. He's more of an attacker than a defender and has a 5-star weak foot and 4-star skill moves. Damian Silva (CB, 38-46, 70-86) tried to force the team to call him up to the senior squad but the team refused so the player terminated his contract. We're pretty sure his career is over now.
                            Any more drama? Oh, yeah.
                            Del Barco let go as Venezuela's head coach
                            In an astonishing turn of events the FVF fired Diego Del Barco after a somewhat unsuccessful stint at the helm. The AD Alcorcon coach failed to qualify the national team for the 2018 World Cup and it was widely speculated that he'd be terminated at the end of the last year but surprisingly the FVF re-signed him. The news came as a bit of a shock as the team was preparing for the upcoming Copa America 2019. It is not yet known who will be his replacement.
                            As for Del Barco himself he has already received an offer from Spain where he has previously coached back in 2015 as he led them to qualify for the Euro 2016. We expect Del Barco to take his time to make a decision and possibly wait for more offers and consider all his options.
                            To whoever ends up being the new Venezuela coach, YOU'RE WELCOME FOR ALL THE TALENT I SCOUTED FOR YOU
                            Anyways, that's a wrap. Copa Del Rey has been stressful so it was nice to jump out to a nice lead against Athletic. February has just 3 league games plus the 2nd leg of the cup semis. Barca and Real Madrid are taking each other out in the other semis matchup. I need to step up in league play since Sevilla is playing so well, these next couple of months I need to get as many points as possible because April will bring both Barca and RM and the rematch at Sevilla will be my 4th-to-last game and I would like to go into that game ahead of them in the standings.
                                Wow a lot to comment on here. First, boo for beating Deportivo! Second, great job getting yourself into 4th. With the season winding down I can't wait to see how you finish. 3rd, that sucks about your academy player not wanting to sign an extension. I've had a couple of my prize academy prospects do the same with Morecambe, but I've always been able to get them to sign the deal eventually within the next few weeks. And 4th, that is really really unfortunate about Paredes. I know he has been your key signing across all of your careers really. You did great to bring in Correa as a replacement though. Hopefully it won't be too big of a hole left.
