Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
NOVEMBER
BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE
TOTTENHAM 1–2 LIVERPOOL
Iago Aspas strikes a second half winner to add further pressure on Wetson. Mata gave Spurs the lead but Luis Alberto levelled before the break. Aspas settled it with a thunderous effort halfway through the second period.
CARDIFF 2–3 TOTTENHAM
Juan Mata scores his 3rd goal in 4 games to give Spurs the win in Wales. The visitors had led 1-0 after Eriksen struck early. A quick fire double from Kim Bo Kyung turned the game on its head, but Adebayor equalised just before the break. Mata’s winner lifts Spurs to 8th. Cardiff slip to 14th.
TOTTENHAM 3–1 STOKE
Adebayor fires a hat trick to guide Spurs to back to back league wins. Ireland had equalised early in the 1st half but the hosts ran away with all 3 points.
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
ROMA 0–2 TOTTENHAM
Soldado (pen) and Pritchard guarantee Spurs Tottenham top spot in group D.
BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE
WEST BROM 0–3 TOTTENHAM
A hansom away win for Spurs as Pritchard, Eriksen and Adebayor make it 4 wins on the spin.
Standings at the end of November
After 14 games
1) Manchester United 35 points
2) Liverpool 34 points
3) Chelsea 32 points
4) Manchester City 32 points
5) Aston Villa 28 points
----------------------------------------------------------------------
9) Tottenham 24 points
Monthly review: A much better month and a great way to round it off with back to back clean sheets. Another defeat against a rival club in Liverpool is annoying, but Aspas did score a screamer so can’t be helped. The UCL group is wrapped up, and we’re guaranteed top spot. Eriksen has refused a contract extension which sucks, but he has another 2 and half years left on his current one so it’s not a pressing matter. Alex Pritchard has made an impact on the big stage which is good to see, and he may signal the departure of Nathan Redmond who has struggled to make an impact at White Hart Lane. Roberto Soldado looks destined to leave as well with just 2 goals in 10 games so far, his chances have been limited. We wouldn’t stop him seeking first team football elsewhere.Comment

Breaking News!
Arsenal sign Joel Lopez as the new Arsenal manager, Many believed after Arsene Wenger's retirement, That the Assistant Manger and Wenger's right hand man Steve Bould would become Manager, But the Arsenal board agreed to sign Joel Lopez the Arsenal Youth Manager on a 2 year contract.
Joel Lopez's résumé includes a brief managerial stint at Wigan Athletic, Being the youth manager at Liverpool, and Coach for the England U18. Arsenal signed Lopez on a 1 year contract as Youth Manager to see his potential, After having successful matches upon successful matches, Arsenal permanently signed Lopez to be their Youth Manager. Arsenal fans are a bit speculative of Lopez's skills taking on a big club such as Arsenal, One fan commented, "I know that he's the Youth Manager, He trained, Zelalem, Akpom, Sanogo and much more, Lopez did good with them, I hope he does good with Arsenal." Another commented, "He has no top managerial experience aside from low league clubs, He was manager at Wigan for a few months before the Wigan board fired him, I think the Arsenal board made the wrong choice, Arsenal's gonna go downhill from here."
Press Conference
Q: How do you feel on taking such a big club like Arsenal?
A: It feels great, Arsene Wenger pulled me aside and told me that he was retiring and I was one of his candidates to succeed him, I feel humble to even be on a list made by Wenger, I admired the guy when I was young and for him to see my potential makes me feel good.
Q: Most players on Arsenals subs and first team are getting old, How are you going to deal with that?
A: Bring in young players of course, They won't get into the first team initially, Players like Arteta, Podolski, Cazorla, Mertesacker to name a few are getting old there's no nice way of saying it, But they're core players of Arsenal and they'll stay in the first team
Q: Last season Arsenal finished 4th, what are you aiming for?
A: Top 4 of course, Maybe top 3, Any Manager wants to win the league of course so that'll be a consideration, But with the likes of Chelsea who have made some amazing signings, Man City, Southampton, It'll be a competition for top 4 which will be exciting.
Q: You didn't include Manchester United in that list.
A: No I didn't, They did horrible last season finished 7th for a team of their caliber, Sure the got the likes of Falcao, Di Maria, RVP, Rooney, Mata. The thing with Man Utd right now is that their Attacking force is like a lion, vicious, Their defense, a small little puppy. They spent a lot of money on bringing in attacking players while not buying defenders, Sure they bought Luke Shaw, Rojo, but they need world class defenders. Last question please.
Q: Any transfer targets?
A: Why of course! But I won't be discussing my transfer targets, I don't want other teams to come and snatch up the players that I have my eye on. Thank you for all the questions and I hope I do Arsenal some good and don't disappoint the fans.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Rabbit could explain this in more detail, but I know he's found incredible players scouting in Japan and South Korea. Keep mining for those precious gems!
Great finish to the season! I'm also especially happy to see Wimbledon get a top finish. At first I was disheartened to see the players they released this summer but they've put together a great squad! I woke up too late to give my opinion about the possible move to PSV, but I'm happy the rest were able to convince you to stay with Luton! You're barely one season in, you can't leave it now. Backing out of a League 2 career is unacceptable! Lol I like the youth academy you've set up. Granted no 90 potential players, but players good enough to make a difference for Luton and League 1. Looking forward to the new season!Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
TORINO SEASON 1 2014/15
OCTOBER
DINAMO MOSCOW 0 V TORINO 1
barreto 80
A hard fought away win in Russia. Due to Amauri's poor performances in recent games I dropped him for Barreto who took the most of his opportunity by scoring the only goal of the game ten minutes from time.
NAPOLI 1 V TORINO 2
higuain 45
kaddouri 60
quagliarella 66
I set the team up with the 4-2-2-2 which proved so effective against Inter at the start of the season and it paid off. Napoli could of been out of sight by half time as Hamsik and Higuain put on a footballing lesson but Padelli pulled off two great saves and the crossbar also came to the rescue. Higuain finally broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time with a typical poachers finish. We leveled fifteen minutes into the 2nd half courtesy of a great diving header from Kaddouri after some great work down the flank by Lora. Then Lora turned provider again when Quagliarella turned in a low cross to score the winner.
TORINO 1 UDINESE 1
muriel 52
quagliarella 66
After our win against Napoli we were looking to build momentum at home against Udinese. Unfortunately it was the away team that took the lead early in the 2nd half, that goal seemed to kick us into life and Quagliarella equalised 14 minutes later. Neither team really looked like scoring the winner and a draw was probably a fair result.
TORINO 3 V ELFSBORG 0
rafinha 11, 45
nocerino 42
jonsson sent off 74
rafinha missed pen 74
Back in Europa league action and we produced our best 45 minutes of football so far this season. Rafinha opened the scoring after only 11 minutes heading in a corner. Although we dominated we had to wait until the 42nd minute before doubling our lead when Nocerino crashed one into the top corner from 20 yards. Rafinha dribbled through the Elfsborg defence and slotted home to make it 3 on the stroke of halftime. In the 2nd half Jonsson bought down Barreto on the box and received a straight red as he was the last man, Rafinha stepped up looking to complete his hatrick but saw his penalty well saved.
LAZIO 1 V TORINO 2
rafinha 10
kaddouri 45
klose 72
A game which we dominated for the first 70 minutes. Rafinha continued his excellent form when he finished off a lovely team move after only 10 minutes. Just before the halftime whistle kaddouri scored a pile driver from the edge of the area to double our lead. We wasted several opportunities to put the game to bed early in the 2nd half before Klose pulled the home team right back in it. The last 15 minutes saw us defend for our lives but we managed to hold on. Rafinha came off in the 2nd half with a bruised shoulder which put him out of our next game.
TORINO 5 V PARMA 2
biabiany 9, 61
verdi 41
kaddouri 68
quagliarella 80
amauri 84, 89
Wow. The scoreline really flattered us with both teams having equal shots on goal and possession at the end of 90 minutes. Parma threw caution to the wind in the last 10 minutes trying to chase the game after throwing away the lead twice and we really punished them. Kaddouri continued his hot streak and Amauri scored his first goals of the season after coming on as a late sub in what was a thrilling match.

Kaddouri 3
Amauri 2
Rafinha 2

EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP E
1. Torino 9
2. Elfsborg 6
3. Dinamo Moscow 3
4. PAOK 0
Torino European top scorers
Rafinha 3
Barreto 1
Nocerino 1
Quagliarella 1
Torino European top assists
Kaddouri 2
Barreto 1
Rafinha 1
Maksimovic 1
I'm delighted with how this month has gone. Unbeaten domestically and in Europe means the league table makes for much better reading and we are in complete control of our Europa League group. Quagliarella and kaddouri have been the stand out players with Rafinha a close second. Having bought Barreto into the starting 11 he has only scored once in 6 games but has laid on 2 assists. With Amauri's late double on his cameo against Parma I have some thinking to do heading into November about who best to pair with Quagliarella up top.Last edited by Goonerslg; 10-09-2014, 06:26 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Thank you too for the compliments! It's nice to inspire someone to do a career and I'm sorry for ruining the fun for youThe transfers you made are nice and I agree with them but you did not just trade Ronny! How dare you touch him! Just kidding, just kidding.
The treble will come, sooner or later. I'm not ending the career until I win it. Thanks again!
Don't you dare leave Luton! You started something big and you need to finish it! The Eredivisie will get boring after a while and you have a lot of work to do in England.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Gents there's been a change of plans. I have decided that I won't get '15 until I make the change to current gen on PS4. No point in buying '15 for PS3 and then getting it again for PS4 just a few months later. I'll still be moving on after finishing the current season with Wimbledon, but I'll be staying on '14. I'm planning on getting PS4 after Christmas shopping, but so far I'm doing really well with getting the money put aside so I might even get it before Christmas. We'll see how it goes.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
@Chicobass a lot of people I know have moved to ps4, when you get it let know how setup is. One of my friends had trouble getting his online to sign him in properly. I am trying to see which system I would move to, when I am able to make that move. But right it seems way away for me.
@solarios yes the red cards fly with fury on this game. For one I had two of players out with suspension from red cards for the previous game. In another the opponents goalkeeper got tossed with a red card. Out of all the fifas I have played (going back to 09) that was a first for me. By the way all this happened in my three games with Empoli tonight, lots of carnage on the pitch. Lol.Currently playing: (In order of Most Time)
