The guy's worth around 140k at the age of 35, so I'm not going to profit by selling him lol. No, I was actually thinking of moving him on to get Iturraspe into the squad, but there's been... a change of plans.

All will be revealed in my end-of-season update.

      Ha Ho He

      April 2017

      Hertha BSC 1 - 0 Bayer Leverkusen
      Mukhtar 74'

      Champions League Quarter Final
      Hertha BSC (3) 3 - 1 (1) Manchester United
      Suarez 38', Sanchez 67', Berardi 85'
      Van Persie 71'

After the first leg of this Champions League quarter final ended in a goalless draw the second leg was there to decide the match-up. The pressure was on the home team because they needed to win the game to go through and that's exactly what they managed to do. Luis Suarez scored the first goal a few minutes before the 40th minute when the striker got in the box and shot the ball to the top right corner. The lead was increased to two half an hour later after Alexis Sanchez cut in from the right wing and curled the ball in the bottom left corner. Manchester United managed to pull one back four minutes later thanks to a Robin van Persie goal which he scored after the ball hit the post. The Berliners' winger Domenico Berardi then scored the fourth of the night with a similar goal to Sanchez's fifteen minutes later.

      FC Augsburg 1 - 1 Hertha BSC
      Kruppke 86'
      Philp 5' OG

      Hertha BSC 2 - 0 Eintracht Frankfurt
      Teichgräber 21', Haraguchi 47'

      Champions League Semi Final
      Hertha BSC 1 - 2 FC Barcelona
      Suarez 60'
      Messi 45', Neymar 53'

Hertha BSC were drawn against one of the best teams in the world for the semi finals when the two other options would have been PSG and Chelsea. Hertha Berlin were nervous and they had problems against Barcelona who won the game. The first half was pretty even but everything changed in stoppage time when Lionel Messi intercepted a pass and ran through one-on-one to finish the attack. The Brazilian Olympic champion of diving scored another one only seven minutes into the second half after some impressive passing. Another seven minutes later Ganchev's team got one back with Luis Suarez's finess shot to the bottom right. The home team had a chance to equalise in stoppage time but Toni Kroos shot the ball at the post.

      Hertha BSC 2 - 1 Bayern München
      Götze 5', Ben Yedder 69'
      Dante 52'

This faceoff between the two best German teams was pointless and Hertha BSC fielded their second team with Götze and Alexis Sanchez playing the first half. The two players mentioned created the first goal which came from Alexis' beautiful build-up. The Chilean stole the ball from Alaba and he sprinted through the right. Then he played a low cross inside the box which was met perfectly by Mario Götze who finished the attack first time in the top middle of the goal. The remaining first half was nothing special and Bayern finally equalised seven minutes after the start of the second half. Hertha's defence weren't able to clear the ball from a corner and it fell to Dante who then shot the ball in the top corner of the net. The winning goal was then scored fifteen minutes later when Wissam Ben Yedder was played through on goal. The striker calmly cut in past a defender before shooting a powerful shot at the near post with his right foot which found its way to the net.

Barcelona had two advantages going into the second leg of the semi final: their home supporters and their lead. Hertha basically needed to win by two goals to qualify to the final and that's exactly what they did. Luis Suarez was on top of his game as he continued his amazing Champions League form by scoring a hattrick. The Berliners pushed hard for two goals and they got them in the first 35 minutes. Suarez opened the scoreline at the ten minute mark
when he dribbled in the box from the right flank. There he finished the attack with his left foot putting the ball in the bottom left corner. The striker then got a brace twenty minutes later when Valentin Stocker played a bad cross in which was heading straight at Javier Mascherano. The defensive midfielder converted to a centre back failed to head the ball away as Luis Suarez jumped behind him, getting his head to the ball and heading it over Claudio Bravo to put his team in the final! Ganchev reacted straight away to the lead by parking the buss and by putting on another centre back. The plan for the remaining game was just to sit in front of the goal and to strike from counter attacks and that's exactly what they did. Suarez was played through in the 79th minute and the striker completed his hattrick. He Uruguayan also missed another sitter after once again getting past the keeper before shooting the ball at the post. The next day Paris Saint-Germain came out on top and they will be Hertha's opponents in the Champions League final.

      Hertha BSC 4 - 0 FC Köln
      Götze 20', Sanchez 35', Suarez 61', 88'

      Player of the Month

      Luis Suarez

Suarez was the biggest star of this month and he picked up the Bundesliga player of the month award as well. The striker was amazing in the Champions League against Manchester United and Barcelona, basically deciding the games in Hertha's favour.

      Press Conference

With one game left in the season you are leading the league by twenty-six points. That's spectacular and a new record if you can maintain your lead.

You are right, that really is spectacular. It's unbelievable that we have climbed from the second league to the top in like four or five seasons and to lead the league by a record amount of points, that's amazing. I believe we will break the record because our last game of the season is against Werder Bremen and I can't say that is a good team.

You beat Barcelona in the Champions League semi finals in a great game of football. How does it feel to reach your second final in a row?

We performed really well in that game. Luis (Suarez) played a huge part in the win and without him we wouldn't have made it. We also defended really well and didn't give them much space.

It feels really great to do that. The Champions League is a huge competition and everyone around the world knows it. To play in our second final in two years, that's just amazing. We have worked really hard for that.

You will play against Paris Saint-Germain in the final who you beat twice in the group stage. Can you become the second team to win the Champions League twice in a row after Real Madrid did that in 2014 and 2015?

I absolutely think we will achieve that. Like you said, we won both of our games against PSG and they weren't dangerous in both of them. They are really lucky to play in the final but sadly for them they will lose it because they just aren't good enough. It will be an exceptional achievement to win such a huge competition twice in a row.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

        Match 4

        Coventry 1-0 Crystal Palace
        Huws 83
In an a great, tight affair, we played a game of 2 halves. The first dominated by Palace, the second we controlled the ball in midfield. A ball by Agard beat the defender and a first time effort found the top corner incredibly to give us the lead with our first goal from open play all season.

        Match 5

        Hull 2-3 Coventry
        Nouble 26
        Sagbo 39
        Agard 55
        Agard 65
        Livermore 78

We took the lead against last seasons play-off winners with a nice finish from Nouble, curling into the bottom corner. Sagbo equalised, stroking in at the far post when the ball was whipped across goal. Agard gave us the lead again, once again curling into the bottom corner before he made it 3, smashing a thunderous effort into the top corner. Livermore chipped the onrushing Marshall to pull one back and when Trippier was sent off late on it meant for a nervy finish but we held on for the win.

        League Cup Round 3

        Coventry 1-2 Southampton
        Tudgay 2
        Tadic 31
        Rodriguez 45

Tudgay gave us a very early lead, breaking past the defence to tuck in. Tadic equalised, smashing into the top corner before Rodriguez's header found the far corner just before half time to give Southampton the win.

        Match 6

        Coventry 1-0 Sunderland
        Hughes 45
We faced last seasons Championship winners in a tie that may be very important come the end of the season. Hughes got the only goal of the game, curling into the corner with a first touch effort. We came under a lot of pressure from the North East side but Marshall stood firm making 9 saves over the course of the game.

        League Table

        1. Chelsea 13
        2. Coventry 13
        3. Newcastle 13
        4. Arsenal 12
        5. Manchester City 11
        6. Manchester United 11

        18. Crystal Palace 3
        19. West Brom 3
        20. Southampton 3

        Jamie Cee's thoughts

What an incredible start to the season. 13 points from a possible 18, far more than I expected. However, we have had a relatively easy fixture list so far, the next match against Arsenal will be a real test of our credentials. Emyr Huws who I signed from Wigan has been the influential force, driving the midfield and has a hell of a shot on him. Kieran Agard has made the step up from the Championship better than his strike partner Frank Nouble and has been great up front. Will Hughes, the marquee signing has been overshadowed my Emyr Huws but he is still looking good. Liam Moore is centre back has been outstanding, controlling the defence and Ben Davies in left back has probably been my favourite signing so far, strong defensively and in the attack. The final player I would like to talk about will be David Marshall in goal. Signed from Cardiff as a strong keeper with Premier League experience and outstanding reflexes, in every game he has played well.

            Wycombe Wanderers
            FIFA 14
            Season 1

            September 2013

            MATCHDAY 8 21/9
            Bury 0-1 Wycombe
            S.Craig (52')

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

We had 3 chances in the opening 20mins from Cowan-Hall, Craig and Morias 2 of which tested the keeper. We dominated early possesion and pushed until half time. We had 5 shots and 4 on target at this point. In the 52nd minute Craig broke the deadlock when he cooly headed a cross from McCoy into the bottom left corner. This brings his tally to 5 for the season. (A league best) 7 minutes later a long range free from Bury was met with a volley by Picken which Ingram had to produce a top notch save to stop. From the resulting corner Cowan-Hall picked up a sprained knee and was replaced by Pittman. This time I had a corner and Craig got a sprained ankle. (Corners aren't great for me haha) Kuffour replaced him in the 73rd minute. Towards the end I squandered chances to make it more. In the end I came away with a 1-0 victory.

Cowan-Hall is expected to be out for about 3 weeks.
Craig is out for 4 weeks.
Also I learned that Billy Knotts loaned expired. Hopefully I can get him back as he put in some good performances for me.

            MATCHDAY 9 28/9
            Wycombe 1-1 York City
            A.Chambers (39')
            J.Pittman (75')

Man of the Match: Jon-Paul Pittman

After both sides traded early chances York were the first to break the deadlock with Chambers cutting in off the right hand side and finishing from just inside the box with his left foot. Nothing Ingram could've done about it. Half time comes and we've had more shots 6 (5 on target) to their 3 (1 on target) with that 1 on target being the difference between the teams. We came out strong in the second half and bombarded the goal but it took a beautiful short chip over the defence from Morias, who had just received it from Pittman, returning it to Pittman who took it on his chest and poked it with his first touch over the keeper. 15 minutes to go 1-1. We kept trying but York held on. Our unbeaten run continues.

            October

            MATCHDAY 10 1/10
            Rochdale 0-1 Wycombe
            G.Doherty (78')

Man of the Match: Lee Angol

Top of the table clash here and Rochdale have home advantage. It'll be a challenge but we're up to it. A very tight affair between the two with chances few and far between as both teams defended well in the first half. Rochdale had a glaring miss early on and we were let off the hook as it was blasted wide. Injury forced Hause from the field as he suffered a sprained knee early in the 2nd half adding to our growing injury list. Doherty replaced him in the heart of the defence. A shot from Kuffour forced a save from the Rochdale keeper and we got a corner. Doherty climbed high and met the delivery from Wood to nod it into the net in the 78th minute. The deadlock was broken. In the 88th minute Rochdale had a chance to equalise but Ingram did just enough to tip it onto the joint between the post and crossbar. Our defence was magnificent throughtout the game and wasn't to be denied.

            League Table
            1. Wycombe P10 26Pts
            2. Rochdale P10 20Pts
            3. Plymouth Argyle P10 19Pts
            4. Chesterfield P10 19Pts
            5. Accrington P10 19Pts
            6. Portsmouth P10 17Pts
            7. Cheltenham Town P10 17Pts

            23. Burton Albion P10 7Pts
            24. Torquay United P10 0Pts

Thanks, I'm glad about my decision, too! PSG don't have that good of a team and I'm confident that I'll win the game. Like I mentioned in the update, we were in the same group and they weren't really a tough opponent. I actually realised just now while writing this that I played PSG last season and not this season but I still think we will win.

Ha Ho He is both of those. I'm not really good at coming up with names so I decided just to use it. I don't know what it means or how it was created, though. Google didn't help me on this one.

No recaps of the games in this update because it's been awhile since I played those games I continue to make my way up the standings after being in last place at the end of August. As you can see I'm just a couple of points away from a top-6 spot. I also bounced back from an ugly defeat to Malmo in my the first group game of CL to now already having a spot secured in the Round of 32 with a game left. We will host Chelsea for that game and I will play the B squad since Mourinho's squad already locked up first place in the group. Speaking of the B squad they've seen a lot of action this season with so much of my attention being put towards the CL where I'm always trying to play my best guys. The B squad played in the games against Espanyol, Real Sociedad, Mirandes and Deportivo. As you can see they have had some mixed results.

The good news is that we are healthy and don't have many major issues going on. After a month or so of speculation Rafael Soares Martins has agreed to an extension with the club and he's signed for the next 5 seasons so that's a relief as he's my best and youngest CB who will only get better. Unfortunately I now have sort of an issue going on with Zeshin Yamura. I went to negotiate with Soares Martins and somehow offered Yamura instead and Yamura responded by saying he doesn't want to extend. Keep in mind I just extended him last season when I believe we sort of went through this. Now I'm trying to ignore the Yamura rumors hoping that he'll chill by himself. The only other drama going on is the logjam at striker. Ormani and Farago are my starters with Rondon being my super sub. Farago has bounced back nicely from his struggles earlier this season and is actually tied for the team lead in goals in the CL with 4 (Yamura). The thing is that another youngster from the academy (Farago is from there), Knoll, keeps getting better and better and would like to see more playing time. I would like to play him with the team rather than loan him out. I have to find a way to rotate all 4 and keep them happy, with Rondon's happiness being the least I'm concerned with since he's retiring at the end of the season.

As far as the youth academy is concerned our scouts in France, Spain, and England have completed their assignments with our scout in France striking out. Here's our youth squad:
                  • Javier Marquez (CB, 60-64 OVR, 86-92 POT): 17-year old from Venezuela with good size (6'2") for his position. We're hopeful he'll stick in the academy until the end of this season.
                  • Victor Velazquez (CAM, 51-65, 78-94)*: 15-year old from Spain who reminds us of a young Leandro Paredes or Angel Correa. We have high hopes for him.
                  • Hallam Campbell (LM/LW, 52-64, 78-94)*: 16-year old from England who is showing top-end speed and is a better exciting prospect for us at the moment.
                  • Damian Silva (CM, 47-59, 76-94)*: 15-year old from Spain described as a playmaker. Good potential with the stamina of a starter.
                  • Victor Jimenez (CM, 40-50, 76-94)*: 16-year old from Spain described as an attacker. We're hoping to develop him into a complete midfielder.
                  • Johnny Wilson (MID/ATT, 46-58, 70-88)*:15-year old from England still being evaluated. Like the rest of his countrymen in the academy he's flashing above average speed.
                  • Damon Elliot (MID/ATT, 47-59, 67-85)*: 15-year old from England with no set position as of now but who, you guessed it, displays impressive speed. I'm predicting he'll be a LW.
                  • Julio Gutierrez (LW, 48-56, 69-81): 15-year old from Spain who brings speed to the pitch. He's settled at LW which is a great fit for him.
                  • Victor Jimenez (CM, 53-57, 74-80): 16-year old from Venezuela who is a defensive-minded midfielder. He needs to remain in the academy for now.
                  • Francisco Miguel (CAM/CF, 45-53, 67-79): 15-year old from Spain who is now settled at a position. Described as technically gifted. I can't really tell whether he'll be midfielder or attacker.
                  • Juan Nuñez (LM, 51-55, 72-78): 16-year old from Ecuador who was signed to the academy towards the end of last season. He's technically gifted but we don't need to rush him to the senior squad right now.
                  • Jomar Mayat (LW, 53-57, 72-76): 17-year old from Cameroon who will be more of a striker than a winger as his speed is very limited. Ideally he'd stay in the academy all season.

                  * Denotes recent addition to the academy.

Joey Hoesen (LW, 59 OVR) was recently promoted due to serving his time in the academy. He wasn't going to progress much more. We will try to loan him in this upcoming transfer window.

                  International Friendlies

                  Villareal 45'

                  Gruenebaum 68'
                  McInerney 89'

Excellent form in those last two friendlies especially considering it was the B team vs Russia. That win against Mexico put in the good graces of the fan base even though that was probably Mexico's B team.

Anyways that's all for now. I can finally get back to this CM now!

                    Dagenham '16-17 Season
                    DEC/JAN Update

                    DEC
                    League Match 22
                    Dagenham - Middlesbrough (4-0)
                    Collins 23'
                    Nimely 34'
                    Sarr 37'
                    Collins 57'

Recap: Only the second time this season that we score 4 goals and the first time since our 4th game of the season at Crystal Palace. Dominating from start to finish. It was awesome.

                    League Match 23
                    Ipswich Town - Dagenham (0-4)
                    Monzon 9'
                    Elito 38'
                    Reyna 45'
                    Collins 63'

Recap: So 16 league games went by between the times I scored 4 goals and then I accomplished the feat in back-to-back games. Amazing. Once again it was total domination and you could tell the lads were starting to believe in themselves that their form isn't a fluke and they are capable of playing at this level.

                    League Match 24
                    Dagenham - Blackburn Rvrs (5-0)
                    Elito 17'

                    Valencia 67'
                    Nimely 87'

Recap: oh c'mon, stop it. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What a breakout performance for these guys against one of the top teams in the league. I just don't have the words to describe how great they were in this game. This is probably the best form this team has had since his career started.

                    League Match 25
                    Huddersfield - Dagenham (3-2)
                    Vaughan 21'
                    Hogg 33'
                    Reyna 36'
                    Nimely 44'
                    Elito 81'

Recap: Ok then, back to earth we came. The clean sheet streak ended at 3 games and suddenly we were down 0-2 after scoring 13 consecutive goals coming into this game but the lads showed great grit in bouncing back from the deficit and turning around the score to give us a 4th consecutive win.

                    League Match 26
                    Dagenham - Millwall (3-0)

                    Collins 89'

Recap: And just like that we went right back to another solid performance from beginning to end. My strikers are starting to consistently get on the scoring sheet and I'm loving it.

                    JAN
                    League Match 27
                    Derby County - Dagenham (0-1)
                    Elito 21'

Recap: A tightly contested game against one of the top teams in the league. Happy to come away with a victory on the road in this scenario.

                    F.A. Cup - Round 3
                    Derby County - Dagenham (1-5)
                    Collins 13'
                    Collins 23'

                    Martin 54'
                    Nimely 60'
                    Reyna 70'
                    Reyna 83'

Recap: Well that escalated quickly. I guess two consecutive looks at the same opponent helped us find their weaknesses and we put our opponent to sleep. Reyna has now scored in 5 out of the last 6 games.

                    League Match 28
                    Burnely - Dagenham (1-1)
                    Reyna 9'
                    Stanislas 16'

Recap: Leave it to this team to draw against one of the worst teams in the league after being in such great form. Hard to be upset at the team after such great run but definitely disappointing.

                    League Match 29
                    Dagenham - Bournemout (1-1)
                    Thomas 8'
                    Elito 50'

Recap: Back-to-back draws, this time against the worst team in the league. Baffling. Not much else to say.

                    F.A. Cup - Round of 32
                    Dagenham - Ipswich Town (3-0)

                    Collins 35'
                    Elito 72'

Recap: Some of you may remember the days when this team had the worst luck in league play. We seem to be turning that around. Solid victory at home to make it to the final 16.

                    League Match 30
                    Hull City - Dagenham (2-2)
                    Collins 9'
                    Akpom 67'
                    Collins 78'

Recap: Closing out the first month of 2017 with a convincing win against a top-4 team in the league. Collins is simply on fire, I'll expand on that below.

                    FL Championship Standings
                    1. QPR - 72pts
                    2. Stoke City - 60pts (31 GP)
                    3. Dagenham - 59pts
                    4. Hull City - 59pts (31 GP)
                    5. Crystal Palace - 59pts
                    6. Derby County - 57pts

                    ...
                    22. Ipswich Town - 24pts
                    23. Doncaster - 18pts
                    24. Bournemouth - 12pts

WOW. The Daggers have not lost a game since late October when Wolverhampton stole a 1-0 win from our place. What an amazing run we've had and we're back in pole position for direct promotion to the BPL. More importantly, we have put together a BPL-worthy roster and we're playing like we belong in the highest level of competition that England has. We just need to finish off this season strong. The resurgence of this team isn't possible without the work of my top 4 guys: Medy Elito (RM), Yordy Reyna (LM), James Collins (RS), and Alex Nimely (LS), plus in certain way the kid Fernando Monzon (CAM) has also been a key contributor since coming back from injury. Collins is taking the cake as far as scoring is concerned as his 19 goals in all competitions lead the team and put him on track to surpass the 21 goals Josh Scott scored for us two seasons ago. But even at the top of Scott's performances at that time he never really had sidekick playing at his level. Nimely is doing that with 13 goals and 10 assists in all competition. Reyna, who scored 20 goals last season, is now at 11 with 9 assists and just won back-to-back Player of the Month awards. Elito isn't far behind with 9 goals and 9 assists and the winter transfer window saw the front office receive endless transfer requests for him. Did the team captain get sent somewhere else? Let's check it out.

TRANSFERS IN: Nicola Leali (GK, ?? OVR), agreed to pre-contract for 4 years at $35K in wages. Ramiro Caseres (ST, ?? OVR), agreed to pre-contract for 4 years at $6K in wages.

TRANSFERS OUT: Xabi Lopez (CDM, 60 OVR) and Emilio De Mesquites (CM), loaned to Crewe Alexandra for the rest of the season. Fabian Torres (CAM, 70 OVR), sold to Real Zaragoza for $1.9 million.

HELL NO. I will admit I'm guilty of hanging on to my guys too much but I just couldn't part ways with Elito when he's been so instrumental to the team's success and more importantly the team doesn't currently have a replacement for him. The other guy who was heavily sought was Collins but of course I didn't sell him either. Leali will compete with Schober for the starting GK spot next season with the loser most likely getting shipped out. Caseres will compete for a backup spot at striker. Torres has progressed tremendously since being promoted from the youth squad but his low stamina (37), which never improved, was going to keep him from being more than a bench player for us so the sale was a great move for us.

As far as the academy is concerned there have been no recent additions since no scouts have been sent out and it's possible no more scouts will be sent out this season. Here is our youth squad:
                    • Memnos Zindilis (RW, 55-59 OVR, 80-86 POT): 17-year old from Greece who brings speed to the table. While we still trying to determine whether he's a better fit as a wing midfielder or as a striker in our 4-4-2 diamond wide, we're also aware that his age will force him up to the senior squad sooner than we would like. Still, we're hopeful that he'll stay in the academy until the end of the season.
                    • Raffaele Molinaro (CM, 59-63, 79-85): 16-year old from Italy described as technically gifted. If promoted right now he wouldn't be more than a role player but he could be a solid contributor next season if he stays in the academy this season.
                    • Jorge Gavilan (LB, 34-40, 72-84): 16-year old from Argentina who has settled at LB as we had hoped since we don't have a true replacement for Ilesanmi at this time.
                    • Jomar Sadami (RW, 58-62, 75-81): 16-year old from Ghana is starting to settle into his development. He projects as a wing midfielder in our scheme.
                    • Orester Senteildis (LW, 46-48, 73-79): 16-year old from Greece who isn't as advanced in his skill set as our other Greek prospect. He's still being evaluated.
                    • David Antonio (CM, 54-58, 73-79): 16-year old from England who doesn't project as much more than a role player for us down the line.
                    • Brian Donaldson (CAM, 53-57, 73-79): 16-year old from England who is attack minded and could be utilized as a striker. Best suited to stay in the academy for now.
                    • Magnus Gerndt (MID/ATT, 45-47, 72-78): 15-year old prospect from Sweden who will probably be a LM or RW. Youngest player in the academy.
                    • Francisco Anibal (LM, 58-62, 72-76): 17-year old from Portugal who has spent a good amount of time in our academy and will be promoted after this season.
                    • Enric Tinlea (CM, 51-55, 71-75): 16-year old from Romania described as a playmaker even though he projects more as a bench player for us.

                    * Denotes recent addition to the academy.

Laurenco Vilna (CM, 65 OVR, Has Potential To Be Special) was promoted to the senior squad at his request. He will probably become the replacement sub for Torres since his secondary position is CAM and he has very good attack ratings.

Other than that no other news as there were no games with Venezuela during these last two months. Now it's time to finish the season and get promoted to the BPL! (maybe win the league?)

                    Wish me luck!

I'm bossing possession and finding it much easier to employ my favoured tactic of overloading one side of the pitch before switching play. Gotta admit, I'm quietly confident of beating Bayern at home, but I don't think they'll be as wasteful as City or as containable as Chelsea in their own ground. Manchester United gave me the toughest game of my season, and I expect Bayern to pick up on that performance and improve it by several levels. Seriously dreading my upcoming trips to the Allianz and Old Trafford. I also fully expect an injury crisis where I drop points in April and May, and lose the title by a point or two to Chelsea, so I'm going all-out to win the Capital One Cup.

Excellent choice with Marseille, and interesting way to spin the career. Quite upset to see the big man APG forcing his way out of the club, but you got an excellent replacement for him in Ibarbo. I did a Marseille career in FIFA 14 but quit around March of season one as I found it too easy, but I think that was more down to my sliders. Just one thing -- I'm looking at your squad and don't see Fares Bahlouli. Was he sold or loaned out when you arrived, because he's a phenomenal player who will grow rapidly if you let him play in 20-25 games a season. I bought him on the cheap at Bristol City, and he grew around 14 overall in three seasons.
Farès Bahlouli plays for Lyon, but thanks for a transfer target.

What an excellent go you've made of it with Hertha, getting superstars to the club and demolishing the league. Suarez is having a field day, and I think you should have a good shot to beat PSG. Press con comes across as cocky, but you've earned the right! By the way, that's a compliment.

Wonderful start to the season. It'd be incredible if you kept up this challenge on the top spots, but more likely than not, you might find yourself in upper mid-table by the turn of the year. Huws looks like an absolute bargain, and it's good to see some of the lads taking the next step in their development i.e. Agard and Hughes.

Much better after that somewhat dodgy start to the season. Good job to beat both Basque sides, I find them very tricky in the game if not IRL. I think you should continue climbing the table, especially if you keep beating the teams around your own position. As for your striker predicament, given your use of a two-striker formation, I think you shouldn't have too much trouble, especially if you signed several of those academy players with the 'Future 1st Team Player' role. Did you? I hope you did, remember once I gave my Argentine LM from the academy a contract as a crucial player by mistake, it was a pain getting him to be happy with anything less than 30 appearances a season. Tidy-looking academy, expect no less from you.

Incredible update, incredible results. And imagine, even with this stunning form of yours, you're still 12 points off the top of the table. That must be one competitive league! Also enjoy seeing that you are scoring goals for fun, always good to see that. No wonder, when you have players in form the way you do. Collins seems like just the type of guy I'd take a punt on if he were in my save, and I love seeing a strike partner rack up assists like Nimely has. I love how your youth academy has guys from across the world. Greece, Ghana, Sweden, Argentina, Italy... it's like you're a factory for future World Cup stars! I hope a lot of the boys make the jump. I'll be moving to start on my YA with West Brom at the end of my current (third) season, any tips for scouting would be appreciated. Keep up the good run!
