Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!!

Exeter City F.C
FIFA 15 – Season 1

The Grecians

October

Skybet League 2 Match:

Exeter City 2 – Burton Albion 1

BUR Taft (Two Yellows) (42’)
The first yellow was for pushing Tom Nichols aggressively off the ball in the eighteenth minute and the second was a challenge on the right wing on Nichols which was scissor-like and reckless. He has no arguments when the referee pulls out the red card. The Burton Albion manager, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, decides to only have one up front.

EXE Cummins (59’)
Graham Cummins is back! Reid bombs down the left and drifts slightly closer to the box before delivering a cross. It deflects of the arm of Albion centre back, Ian Sharps which makes the ball bounce and go over the confused midfielder, Lee Bell, who is marking Cummins. Cummins jumps high in the air and heads the ball through the outstretched arms of the goalkeeper and into the net. What an amazing start for Cummins, who has just recovered from an injury. Cummins runs to the touchline and celebrates with the medical staff. They helped him a lot to be able to play in this game.

BUR McGurk (72’)
Lucas Akins gathers the ball on the right and then skips past the tackles of Wheeler and Ribeiro to deliver a cross to the unmarked Adam McGurk, who heads it past Pym for the equaliser.

EXE Cummins (73’)
Cummins and Nichols start the game again, just after Albion’s goal. Nichols runs at the defence but his path is blocked by John Mousinho. Nichols slides the ball to the left and Cummins picks it up. He skips past a challenge from Lee Bell and runs into the massive gap that the Albion defences opened up for him. Cummins drifts to the left and smashes it with his weaker left foot and into the top corner of the near post to make it two. It was a great finish but what was the Albion defence doing? It's understanding why Cummins has a look of elation on his face as he slides across the ground in front of the home crowd. Cummins is substituted off after his goal and there is a massive applause for him as he is replaced by Matthew Jay.

Our Best Performer: Graham Cummins (For saving the team and getting the three points by scoring both of the goals.)

It was always going to be a risk to bring back Graham Cummins before he was 100% fit, but managers have to make difficult decisions on a daily basis, and in this case it worked out well. Graham Cummins played a major part in the game before being withdrawn by Bee; presumably to protect him from any chance of reinjuring himself as he became more tired as the match wore on.

J. Paint Trophy Match:

Gillingham 2 – Exeter City 1

GIL Hessenthaler (2’)
Danny Kedwell receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area. He’s getting pressed but manages to pass to Jake Hessenthaler who nicely places the ball into the corner. An early lead for Gillingham.

EXE Cummins (22’)
Immediately after scoring, Gillingham got really defensive and tried to soak up the pressure but it doesn’t work as Wheeler gets the ball on the right wing and he crosses low into the box. Cummins is being very closely marked but he manages to slide and tap the ball into the net before the defender could get to it.

GIL Kedwell (PEN) (39’)
Matt Fish gets the ball on the edge of the area and runs into the box where Scot Bennett slides in and gets the player. It’s very unlucky as Fish left a foot behind him and he goes down at a feather’s touch. Bennett gets a yellow and Kedwell steps up and calmly places the ball down the middle, past Pym who dives to the right.

Our Best Performer: David Wheeler (Every time he got the ball he looked really dangerous and he provided a good assist for Cummins.)

Skybet League 2 Match:

Plymouth Argyle 0 – Exeter City 3

EXE Reid (42’)
The first goal in the rowdy West Country derby goes to Exeter City. Grimes takes a corner from the right and it’s whipped into the middle where Reid flicks the ball into the far corner. Reid had a lot to do, he just managed to head the ball backwards while also off balance.

EXE Nichols (45’)
Reid sprints down the left after skipping over a challenge from Kelvin Mellor and crosses far to the back post where Nichols heads the ball back across the confused goalkeeper and into the far corner. It was a great finish despite picking up an injury in the fourth minute. Unfortunately, Nichols was subbed off at half-time for Matthew Jay to make sure that the injury does not become serious.

Ribiero gets injured in the fifty-seventh minute.

EXE Cummins (87’)
Cummins tries to pass to Jay but it’s intercepted. It’s passed back to the goalkeeper who takes bad touch. Cummins slides in and he gets a touch on the ball, making it go past the keeper and into the net. The Exeter City crowd are going mad.

Our Best Performer: Jamie Reid (For being dangerous and getting a good goal and assist.)

Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):
Christian Ribeiro has suffered a Sprained Ankle and will be out for about three weeks.” (Replaced for Danny Butterfield)
Tom Nichols has suffered a Sprained Ankle and will be out for about three weeks.” (Replaced for Matthew Jay)

Skybet League 2 Match:

Exeter City 1 – Carlisle 0

EXE Cummins (19’)
Woodman picks the ball up on the wing and does a one-two with Grimes. Woodman gets the ball and skips past the Carlisle centre-back, Sean O’Hanlon, and then slots the ball into Cummins who smashes home for the first goal of the game and another goal to add to his tally.

Our Best Performer: Graham Cummins (He scored the winning goal and he could have got a hat-trick if he was lucky but he still performed really well.)

Skybet League 2 Match:

Southend United 0 – Exeter City 1

EXE Cummins (PEN) / SOUThompson (RED) (63’)
Cummins runs at the defence, they try to tackle him but he skips over a challenge and finds himself through on goal. Gets ready to shoot but then the foot of Adam Thompson gets in the way and he topples to the floor. It’s quite cynical from the centre back and he’s sent off. Cummins steps up and calmly puts the ball in the corner as the goalkeeper just stands in the middle.

Our Best Performer: Christy Pym (He pulled out some top draw saves in that match. He saved the team and allowed us to have the three points.)

Skybet League 2 Match:

Exeter City 2 – Accrington 1

ACCMingoia (11’)
James Alabi gets the ball on the corner of the box. He makes a yard of space and whips a ball into the box. Moore-Taylor desperately tries to head it out of danger but is just not close enough to make contact. It falls to Mingoia at the far post who then hits the ball into the corner to take the bottom table team ahead of the top of the table team.

EXE Wheeler (38’)
Accrington get a corner but the delivery is poor and it falls to Cummins who picks it up from the half-way line and sprints as far and as fast as he can. He cuts in and leaves the defender. He decides to slip the ball into the running David Wheeler who smashes it past the goalkeeper and into the top corner.

EXE Watkins (PEN) (81’)
Only two minutes after coming on, Watkins bursts down the middle and drifts to the right where he cuts back but Luke Joyce slides in and doesn’t get the ball. Joyce gets a yellow and Watkins is confident enough to take the penalty. He takes a step forward and halts his run and then whips the ball into the corner. The goalkeeper goes the right way but the ball is travelling too quickly and it’s curling away from the goalkeeper for it to be saved. It’s a great penalty and it ends the match for the tired-looking Accrington.

Our Best Performer: Graham Cummins (Despite not getting a goal, he was dangerous when on the ball and his movement off of it was superb so he could get into great positions. He also provided the assist for Wheeler.)

Dr Peter Riou (Senior Physiotherapist):
The medical staff have cleared Christian Ribeiro and Tom Nichols to return from their injuries so they can rejoin the first team squad’s training sessions.

Player of the Month:
Graham Cummins

Graham is back and is better than ever. He’s still as trigger happy as when he didn’t have an injury to pull him back. He’s scored fifteen goals in fifteen matches which is incredible.

Congratulations on the PS4! I hope you enjoy it. By the way, what five games have you got? You had two few days ago. Fifa, Shadow of Mordor...

Haha yeah same here I was a kid when I first saw the original trilogy. My brother and I really liked them so as soon as Episode I came out my parents took us to watch it but I was still really young. My brother is older though and we both loved the original trilogy and the prequels. I don't get why people bash the prequels and the new movie trailer too.

Yea before Christmas I bought FIFA and Shadow of Mordor during Cyber Monday. I had been picking up a lot of hints from my girlfriend that I would be getting a PS4 but I was surprised that she actually got me two games, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and the walking dead season 2 game. I wasn't disappointed or anything I still loved my gift from her. She doesn't know much about games so she said that when she went to get Assassin's Creed she had to tell the employee that she was looking for "the boat one" hahahaha . I was very surprised when it was actually my cousin who bought me the PS4. That was completely unexpected and the PS4 came with Destiny. It wasn't the bundle it is a black PA4 but it came with the game.

I also love all of the movies but I haven't seen the prequels in some time. Maybe I won't like them that much, who knows? But I really hope we can agree on the fact that Indiana Jones: It Never Happened (AKA The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) is a terrible movie and it deserves the have it gets. It's nice to talk about movies with someone. All of my classmates don't know anything about them.

I recommend getting Far Cry 4. It's a very good game. GTA and Watch Dogs are also good. Those are actually all the games I have (plus Fifa).

Burton Albion CM - FIFA 2015 (August Month is back a few pages)

Season 1 - Sky Bet League

September:

Capital One Cup: Leg 2
Burton: 1 (McGurk 99’ PEN)
Newcastle: 0

After having a stalemate in regular time, we took the premier side into extra time. A costly tackle inside the box to save Krul from facing a breakaway left us with a PK. McGurk stepped up and netted in past Krul. After that Burton “Parked the Bus” and advances on to the next round of the Capital One Cup! Unfortunately Mousinho picked a month long injury with a sprained ankle.

League: Match 6
Stevenage: 2 (Zola 90’, 90’)
Burton: 5 (MacDonald 9’, 25’, 47’ 69’, 86’)

An early season matchup against the league leaders Stevenage. Burton is currently sitting in second place and is looking to take over the first place spot with a victory away at Stevenage. Getting off to a great start when MacDonald blasted a goal past the keeper from 25 out. Then he adds another before the halftime whistle, just slicing it past the keeper. MacDonald then comes out in the second half and scores three more beautiful strikes. MacDonald was definitely the MVP of this game, scoring all 5 goals against the league leaders. Kiefaber was upset his team got lazy and let up two unnecessary goals in added time, but all in all was happy with the victory. Unfortunately McFadzean picked up a sprained ankle injury that will see him out for a month.

League: Match 7
Burton: 1 (MacDonald 87’)
Cheltenham Town: 0

MacDonald continues his impressive play and nets a late winner from 22 out to secure the first place spot for Burton. The rest of the game was very evenly matched and each side played exceptional defense, along with terrific goalie play. Burton has been looking really strong as of late and hope to continue their winning strike as they travel to 14th placed Bury.

League: Match 8
Bury: 0
Burton: 4 (McGurk 21’, 35’, 56’ and MacDonald 81’)

An easy win for Burton away from home at Bury. A demanding victory and a McGurk hat trick showed why we are the current league leaders.

League: Match 9
Burton: 2 (Brannagan 47’, Mousinho 77’)
Newport County: 1 (Howe 86’ PEN)

A tough game at home against Newport County. They came out of the gates throwing a lot of men forward trying to get an early goal. However Brannagan and Mousinho were able to take advantage of their opportunities netting a goal a piece. Newport did get a late penalty on a poor tackle by Sharps. Howe stepped up and converted the PK chance.

Capital One Cup: 3rd Leg
Burnley: 1 (Boyd 56’)
Burton: 0

An away game at Burnley proved to be the toughest test of the season and they showed why they were a Premier league side. We did play really well, but were unable to convert on our many chances in front of goal. Late in the game there was a glimmer of hope, when the Burnley defender took out MacDonald in the box for a penalty. However the PK in the 85’ was saved by Gilks sealing the 1-0 victory for Burnley.

League: Match 10
Portsmouth: 2 (Wallace 82’, Holmes 90’)
Burton: 3 (McGurk 37’, Brannagan 56’, Taft 91’)

Unbelievable game away at Fratton Park to take on Portsmouth. We opened the game up with two early goals but Portsmouth proved they were still in it for the fight, getting two late goals to tie the game 2-2. However a late corner kick proved to be the deciding factor when Taft got up real high and headed it past the goalie.

MOTM (Man of the Month): RM - Alex MacDonald

With 7 goals in this month alone, MacDonald proved to be a real scoring threat down the right side of the pitch. Scoring 5 goals in one game he tied the Burton record for most goals in one match by one player. MacDonald currently leads the League 2 in scoring and also has 3 assists.

I also need ideas for the Jan. Transfer window. I am currently in Dec. am gonna be posting October and November in the coming days! The positions I need to improve/are gonna lose are GK, CB, LB, ST, CM --- not all these need immediate improves, just nice to have ideas.. My current targets are, in order from most interest to least.

CM - Joran Rossiter (Liverpool)
ST - Ivan Toney (Northampton)
CB - Alex Wytner (Portsmouth)
RW - Francois-Xavier Fumu (AJ Auxerre)
LB - Bradley Gramston (WBA)
CAM - Kylian Hazard (Zulte-Waregem)
CM - Choi Hyun Tae (FC Seoul)

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

I've been doing a My Player striker/right forward on FIFA 14 for the last couple of months and its going OK. I'm in my nearing my second full season at Southampton after moving there during the transfer period in 2015. He's a 6'1", 181 lb striker so he's got some muscle behind his shots but not a lot of agility. Here are my stats since starting this My Player (including all the tournaments and stuff):

2013-14 - NY Red Bulls (26 appearances, 7 G, 6 A)
2014-15 - SM Caen [loaned] (59 appearances, 42 G, 11 A)
2015 - NY Red Bulls (17 appearances, 8 G, 1 A)
2015-17 - Southampton [Winter Transfer 2015] (64 appearances, 40 G, 10 A)

However, I'm stuck at 78 overall and want to improve my attributes to get my value up and to maybe leave the Premier League (that complaint is for another day) or at least move to a better club. I find beating defenders with skill moves to be nearly impossible on most difficulties (I drift back and forth between Professional and World Class, playing more on World Class), and there's no other way to improve my agility than to beat defenders. I don't want to bump it down to semi-pro just to improve my attributes if I don't have to. I also find that I lose the ball too easily, which is incredibly frustrating and makes me want to chuck the disk at a wall at times.

I've tried looking everywhere for help with this, but I've found absolutely nothing. Can anyone here help me?

Definitely. That's a perfect title for it too. "It never happened" it fits it so well because I was never inclined to watch it and I ignore it's existence. I watched the original Indiana jones movies and I really liked them, but I've only heard bad things about The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I never cared for Destiny but after all the hype it's been getting I do feel like trying it out myself. The Walking Dead is a fun game but it's like watching another season from tv. At least that's how the first one felt. What I really like it that your decisions can change the whole game. I haven't played Black Flag yet but I've been messing around with Mordor and it's really fun. With the new Nemesis System things can get personal lol

The finale is coming! I'm close to my data limit on my phone so I had to wait to get on wifi to post it so it's coming!

May 2020 - Season 7
FIFA 14 (PS3)

AFC Wimbledon 3 - 0 Crystal Palace
WIM: James 12' 25' Thompson 66'
First versus last and the team in first showed why there are eighteen teams in between them. The result was exactly what Wimbledon needed as Manchester City continue to win as well. Luke James was able to break away from Everton's Vietto on the top scorer table as well with these two goals. Vietto also scored in his match so James only has the 1st place for at least one more week.

AFC Wimbledon 4 - 0 QPR
WIM: Eaves 9' 81' 90' Ortiz 17'
Chavez has finally figured out how to adjust the B team with the new players, and it looks like he has decided to use a 3-5-2 formation (2 CDMs 1 CAM). The Wimbledon B team completely dominated QPR from beginning to end Diego Ortiz returning to a wide position where he had the room to show off his incredible ball skills. He may not be one that can sprint to the end line and cross the ball, but if you give him the space to shoot he will punish you for it. Tom Eaves also had an incredible match and got himself a hat-trick. Mario Ruiz looked a little disheartened to be demoted to the B team, but his morale has improved greatly now that he's playing in his natural CAM position instead of the RDM position he was playing with the first team.

AFC Wimbledon - Manchester City
First vs second. Only 1 point is what sets these two teams apart. The winner of this match will most likely lift the league title at the end of this month with only a few games left to go. Manchester City have been in impressive form which led them to jump over Chelsea in the league table and now be right behind Wimbledon. Wimbledon have had great results this month, but it's been against two teams in relegation zone. When these two teams faced each other six months ago it ended in a 1-1 draw, but in previous seasons Wimbledon have never had any problems from the Citizens.
Spoiler

Reading 2 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: Murphy 39'
REA: Akpan 45' Tanner 70'
The last scheduled match for the Wimbledon B team this season and they still played horribly. Josh Murphy scored the first goal with a great driven shot after being played through on goal by Tom Eaves, but the team fell apart right after that. The match was very important for Reading and they were extremely motivated on the pitch pressuring high the entire match. Reading's first goal actually came as a result of high pressuring. The captain Akpan rushed an unsuspecting Craig May after Adam Cowie passed the ball to him, intercepted the ball and in one touch shot towards goal to beat an out of position Cowie. The Dons were never able to recover from that and ended up giving the match away as a defensive mistake allowed Tanner to take a shot on goal and score. This result has put Reading out of the relegation zone with a 3 point difference and only two matches left to play. If they can just hold on to those points for two more weeks they will avoid relegation. For Wimbledon, this defeat allowed Manchester City to close in on them once again. Could this be City's second chance to lift the title?

AFC Wimbledon 2 - 1 Southampton
WIM: Odhlambo 14' Clayton 80'
SOT: Reed 17'
Southampton really made Wimbledon suffer and in the end it was Max Clayton, the impact sub, that changed the game and gave Wimbledon the lead. Richard Odhlambo opened the scoreline with a perfect shot from outside the box, but Southampton's Reed equalized only 3 minutes later with an impressive goal. Wimbledon goalkeeper John Ruddy parried a shot and the rebound went straight to Reed. Instead of taking the shot first time, Reed lifted the ball with his foot and then executed an amazing scissor kick into the net. After that Southampton played very similar to Reading and pressured Wimbledon high preventing the Dons from advancing on the field with possession. The draw would have allowed Manchester City to go over Wimbledon with 2 points and with only 1 game left in the season that would have meant City were inevitably champions, but Max Clayton refused to let that happen and scored almost the exact same way he scored on Barcelona in the Champions League last month.

Sunderland 0 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: James 35' Vergini OG 90'
Sunderland started the match with great defending but Wimbledon controlled possession the entire time. It was only a matter of time until Wimbledon would be able to break through the back line and at minute 35 Thompson sent Luke James a through ball leaving him free with only the goalkeeper in front. James was patient, waited for the goalkeeper to come out and then chipped the ball over him! The goal secured the Golden Boot for Luke James and it was also his first chipped goal. The match stayed the same with Sunderland defending really well and Wimbledon controlling the match. In the final minute of the match Michael Thompson took a powerful shot towards goal but the ball bounced off Vergini's knee and changed the ball's direction leading to Wimbledon's 2nd goal.

Champions League Final
Real Madrid 2 - 2 AFC Wimbledon
WIM: Murphy 8' 77'
REA: Morata 36' Isco 71'
The fans at the Imtech Arena were taken completely by surprise when AFC Wimbledon scored a goal in barely the 8th minute of the match. Tyler Harvey had made a run from midfield to the right wing where he crossed it and found LAM Jacob Murphy who didn't hesitate and took the volley. The ball hit Carvajal in the head and went into the net beating the goalkeeper Muslera who had already made his dive. The game was extremely tight, Real Madrid playing fast, counter attacking football with a 4-3-3 Holding and AFC Wimbledon trying to push Madrid back with a 4-3-3 Attack. The game didn't really start until the 36th minute though when Morata headed the ball past Wimbledon goalkeeper Ruddy and equalized the match. Game on. The Wimbledon fullbacks did a spectacular job neutralizing the Madrid wingers Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard, but Ancelloti was aware he couldn't break Wimbledon through the wings and instead had his team attack through the middle which is where they found the most success. At minute 71 Real Madrid's CDM Cristante sent a through ball over the Wimbledon defenders and found Isco wide open with nobody near him. Isco kept his calm and took a well placed shot to Ruddy's left corner giving Madrid the win. Wimbledon had less than 20 minutes to equalize and Chavez immediately ordered his players to push forward, paying little attention to the risks involved. It paid off six minutes later though, when Wimbledon launched a counter attack. Max Clayton sent Luke James running with a lobbed through ball and James beat Carvajal, the last defender, with his body right before bringing the ball down with his foot. Luke James was left one on one with Muslera but Jacob Murphy came to his aid sprinting into the box shouting for the ball. James obliged and Murphy was able to take an uncomfortable shot into the net equalizing the match! The match wasn't over though and both teams threatened each other but the second half ended 2-2. Extra time was still very tense, but only Wimbledon looked dangerous up front. Real Madrid mostly sat back waiting for the counter attack but Wimbledon didn't attack that much either, since Real Madrid has defeated them with a late goal more than enough times. The extra time finished 2-2 and the champion would have to be decided by a penalty shootout.

AFC Wimbledon Champions!!!
The biggest news this month is of course AFC Wimbledon's 2nd consecutive Barclay's Premier League title. The Dons also won the Capital One Cup for the second time in a row as well. It took the Wombles three years to win the Europa League, and it took them just 2 years to win the Champions League, establishing themselves as not only the best team in England, but the best team in Europe now as well.

John Ruddy: Champions League Hero
There is much speculation about whether or not Ruddy will be retiring next season, but for now the only talk there is is about his amazing performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League final. Ruddy only made 1 save in the 120 minute match and he received two goals, but in the penalty shootout he blocked two of Madrid's shots which ultimately led to the title. The 33 year old goalkeeper has had a rejuvenating year. He was playing at West Bromwich Albion who at the time were in 16th place in the FL Championship. The goalkeeper was already considering retirement when out of the blue AFC Wimbledon comes down with an offer to buy. He accepts, and in 6 months he's won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League.

Reading's Battle With Relegation
Another team that has received a lot of attention this month is Reading, the team that finished in 17th place this season. The relegation battle was tight all season but even more so in the final month of the season, where even in the last league match all four teams at the bottom of the table had a chance at survival. The Reading fans and players were pumped up and motivated and upset the top of the table team AFC Wimbledon 2-1 when everyone expected Wimbledon to win. The three points would prove vital. In the final match of the season, Reading needed to win. A defeat would mean relegation and Norwich City would survive instead due to goal difference, or QPR/Crystal Palace depending on their results. A draw would make them depend on Norwich City's result. Only a win would guarantee survival but unfortunately for them their final match was against one of the big clubs in England: Chelsea. Once again as underdogs, Reading surprised everybody and defeated Chelsea 1-0. With this incredible result, Reading escaped relegation despite being in the bottom three the majority of the season.

BPL Manager of The Season
The Manager of The Season award has been given to AFC Wimbledon's Chavez for a second time in a row. The Mexican-American manager has not only had a successful season, but a successful career as well achieving fantastic things with the Scotland National Team and AFC Wimbledon. With the Dons, Chavez has won the League 2, League 1, Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Community Shield, Barclay's Premier League, Europa League, and the Champions League. The only competitions that Chavez was not able to win was the J. Paint Trophy, Copa Europe, and the FL Championship finishing in 2nd place in all three competitions.

BPL Player of The Year
The Player of The Year award has been given to Chelsea's Jovetic. I lack the knowledge to tell you why in the world it was given to him.

AFC Wimbledon Player of The Year

AFC Wimbledon has announced Luke James as the Womble of The Year. The striker from England had huge shoes to fill after Terry Gornell left and passed the torch on to him, but he stepped up and made Gornell proud. Last season James had 22 Goals in all competitions. This year he broke his mark and netted 34 in all competitions winning the Golden Boot in the league and being a joint winner for the Champions League Golden Boot. Terry Gornell still holds the record for most goals scored in a single year at 37 goals, but James came mighty close to reaching it just 3 goals away.

The End Of An Era

This morning the Wimbledon manager Chavez has announced that he will be stepping down from management. Chavez leaves the institution after 7 wondrous years in which AFC Wimbledon rose from the ashes and not only achieved their revenge against the FA, but also became one of Europe's best. We've seen Chavez change over the years. From the respectful, calm pioneer that took the League 2 by surprise, to the passionate, strong leader that stormed through the Premier League often extremely vocal from the sidelines. The change came mostly during Season 6, where we saw a different Chavez, a much more tired and stressed Chavez, almost pulling out his hairs with every goal received. Many believed that he would be resigning that season as he looked extremely frustrated and it reflected off the players as well. Suddenly, he looked reborn and much louder, leading the team to his first Premier League title, the Capital One Cup, the Community Shield and the FA Cup all in one season. When we asked what sparked the change that saw him climb out of the hole he was in, his answer was that it was all thanks to The Great War of 2014. We had no clue what he was talking about but that was Chavez. Sometimes referring to other football managers we had never heard of such as a bum from Texas, a Rabbit, Jamie, Ganchev, Keanu Reeves, and a blue Indian among other names that we had no record of. When it came to football he knew what he was talking about and that was all that mattered though. Here is his official statement from today's press conference:

"It was a hell of a ride and I enjoyed every second of it. From preparing for matches against MK Dons all the way to preparing for Barcelona and Real Madrid. Wimbledon and it's supporters gave me an unforgettable opportunity which I will be forever grateful for. I have given this club everything I have, all the knowledge I possess. I think it is the right time to step down. I know that the club will continue to lead the way for English football without a problem.

I would also like to thank the players for always playing with their hearts. In this journey I've encountered a lot of players that truly blew me away. Players that no one had ever even thought to look at and they became superstars. Terry Gornell, Ross Worner, Ryan Tafazolli, Jack Midson, Barry Fuller, Luke Moore, Harry Pell, Aaron Morris, Elliott Hewitt, Luke James, Danny Kedwell, Seb Brown, Jacob Murphy, George Francomb, Jack Baldwin, Tyler Harvey, Danny Hylton, Charlie Sheringham, James Hanson, Max Clayton, and many many more that will forever be in my heart, as they always left it on the field. Players that knew what these colors meant and played with passion every week not for the money or self glory, but for the team. For the fans. For Wimbledon. Because no fan should have to go to work or school and be the victim of banter. Because the bragging rights should always be in our favor.

Our amazing youth academy and staff, who always included the club's values and history in the development of players such as Richard Odlhambo, Michael Thompson, Mario Ruiz, Adam Cowie, Shaun Vincent, Scott Moore, and Ruaidhri Mannus among many others who even at their young age showed the maturity and passion that this club demands.

Most importantly, I must thank you: the reader. You who has been with me every step of the way offering me your insight, support, and constructive criticism which always motivated me to keep going. The people of this forum is what made this career. You enhanced it and made it much more enjoyable. When spicing up matches against MK Dons for example back when I was in League 1 and 2, I was even more passionate about winning it not only because I hate everything they stand for, but also because I knew that I couldn't come back here and post that I had lost. It would be unacceptable. This is the longest career I have ever had. In my opinion it has been the best and it is all thanks to you."

That's what I call it when I happen to talk about it with someone. I don't care about the movie and I don't accept it as an Indiana Jones movie. If you haven't seen it (that's at least the conclusion I came to after reading your post) don't even bother with it. You won't make it to the end without your IQ dropping a few points. There is the part where Indi survives a nuke in a fridge, the Shia LeBouff (how do you even write his name?) swinging with CGI monkeys part and then there are the killer ants. Also, it has aliens. Even mentioning it makes my head hurt. The real Indies are amazing, though.

I must admit that I have never played an Assassin's Creed game. I might buy Black Flag or the next one at some point, though. Shadow of Mordor looks good but I don't know if I want to get it. Destiny is a game I'm not interested in and it's the same with Walking Dead. But when you have played Black Flag and Mordor for some while tell me what you think of them.

Don't you usually write your updates at work? Or at least some of them? Or am I getting too confused with you and Rabbit? Anyway, if you write them at work what are you doing right now? Goddamnit Chico screw Christmas and go to work to write the Wimbledon update lol Hopefully you get the wi-fi quickly.

Edit: Wow, so you decide to post the update while I'm motivating you to post it? Not cool, man.

Oh wow, that ending left me completely wordless. You surely felt amazingly after winning the Champions League and the treble after so many seasons of really hard work. This update was an amazing one and a real pleasure to read, like the whole career it self. I'm sure everyone will agree that the Wimbledon career will be hugely missed. It has been going on for so long that it became a piece of the thread. I was happy for you at the end but I was, and I am still, really sad because it's over. Then again, it's 1 AM right now and I often get more emotional late at night. But I'm not crying!

Right now I feel like quitting the ManU career and starting a League 2 one because of this. I must wait a little longer before I start my League 2 journey, though. Also, the part where you mentioned The Great War of 2014, a Rabbit and Keanu Reeves made me laugh. Nice work.

PS. START YOUR NEW CAREER ALREADY!

Cool man. I'm gutted cuz there's been some hackers overloading the system. PSN is down until further notice, which means my career mode has been delayed, I can't play Destiny and all I can play is Minecraft lol. Will be picking up PSPlus in January along with a game or 2 in the January sales. Thinking Unity and Last of Us.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

My season with Aston Villa started so bad, only around late October I started getting the feel of the team and the right formation which is centered around Benteke as ST and Agbonlahor right behind him as CF.

I have Shaw, Januzaj, Cleverley on loan, but Cleverley just warms the bench (Villa got him on loan in real life so that is why he is on my team due to the roster update). I also got Tielemans and Umtiti

I entered December winter break as 6th on the table, very close to 4th, and I started the season basically 1 or 2 positions from relegation zone.

January window came by and Everton wanted to buy Delph (I dont know why they didnt do a pre contract since he had 5 months left and wanted no renewal) anyways, they offered me 7 I asked for 17million and they accepted it, I said hell yeah and sold him and NZobia who felt homesick and the board sold him. With the money that came in and my board request I got Joel Campbell and Byram on transfers and Schar and Andrew Ayew (since Januzaj is going back to Man Utd when season ends)

So now I am really excited for the second half of the season, I got a young core and I finally found the right formation for my team, I think we might make 4th place (3rd place is 10 points ahead of the 4th, so that is impossible right there).

Loving the work, going to try and comment on a few as I go...

Simppu: Very strong update, seems like defensively your United squad has been strong for you, just need to goals to start following along! Could you possibly post the full squad with overall ratings now that you've finished your transfer dealings?

Vrabbit: Great work with Dagenham, but how dare you beat West Ham. We will retaliate, that is all.

Chico: Unreal finish, great work with throwing in the screenshots. I can't believe that you can type that entire thing on your phone, that is some dedication that I can not even begin to match. Plus, what a way to finish out the career, it was the finish that your Wimbledon career mode deserved! Can't wait to see you on FIFA 15.

Wow. I've never seen the movie, I can't even remember the trailer, but what you described was painful. I don't think I could've been able to sit through it had I tried.

The assassins creed series is awesome man. Assassin's Creed III was incredibly boring though. I had to play it 3 different times to be able to make it to the end. One thing I love about the games are that they focus a lot on conspiracy theories so you get history lessons out of them, but Assassin's Creed III felt like a game made for children to teach them about the American revolution. The plot was bad, character development was horrible especially the main character. Probably the worst assassin in the series. I've heard nothing but good things about Black Flag though so I'm willing to give the series another try.

So far Shadow of Mordor is really fun. I've been playing all day and you know how many main story missions I've done? One. The rest of the time I've spent hunting down captains and gathering intel on them. Just right now I realized I should probably play the story. Are you a Lord of The Rings fan?

Yeah I usually type the updates and post them at work but this one I couldn't because I'm really close to exceeding my monthly limit. I'm on wifi now though so I posted
