And yeah, I was still adjusting to the 20 pass speed sliders in career mode at that time. October results are much better! I was still plenty pleased to nick a point off United, though oddly enough that's the one I felt I should have won!
No problem. That would explain it, you normally are one to finish those sorts of teams off with ease. And remember, you can have as many people born on or after 1st January, 1993 in your squad as you want. Increase that by a year next season, etc.

I know you love your realism so I thought I'd help out, it's something I'm doing with Liverpool

I'm happy with our achievements this month: 3 wins and a draw, 7 points in the league, and reaching the final 16 of the Capital One Cup. Few teams in the division can match our form, and we're now the only side yet to lose a game. Much of our success boils down to John O'Shea and Costel Pantilimon playing at peak form, claiming all four Man of the Match prizes. It's not any surprise that we've conceded just one in 4 games, but October will be much lot trickier with Stoke, Southampton and Liverpool in the league, as well as Chelsea in the Capital One Cup. Safe to say it'll be an entertaining month!

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Finally!!!!! my internet has been down for a few days meaning I've had a bit of catching up to do! It also means that any upcoming career updates will be significantly lacking detail as I don't have records of scorers, and have played through a few months.

Leading on from that, I have tested out the whole Eibar idea, and unfortunately its just not that entertaining. I played up until December, and can honestly I didn't enjoy playing a single game. I persevered but ultimately chose to stop the career (Sorry Chico).

However, I have adapted some of the aims of the career, such as sticking to few but realistic nationalities in the squad, and adopting an A team B team approach, and applied it to the Leverkusen career. I managed to make all the alterations necessary in just 1 transfer window, whereby the squad is now full of solely central European players, primarily German.

What seems easiest is just to give u guys an update when I get to January, as there has been a huge squad overhaul. I would like to do a big report, but have plenty of games in the mean time including Champions League football again. Seeing as the Bundesliga has a winter break, I can do an update in that time, with a primary focus on the squad as opposed to matches.

Sorry for all the switching of late, but hopefully this concept can stick as I am in 2018/2019 season in the career

          Hull City
          Season 1
          January 2015

          Objectives:
The league objective is to avoid relegation.
The Domestic Cup objective is to reach the Round of 32.

          Transfers Out:

Max Clark - Ovr: 56 Pos: LB Age: 18 Fee: $70,000 To: St. Mirren
Reason: Had no future at the club.

Gaston Ramirez - Ovr: 78 Pos: CAM Age: 24 Fee: $24,000,000 To: Manchester United
Reason: They unexpectedly matched the counteroffer.

          Transfers In:

          Emerson Hyndman

          Bought From: Fulham
Fee: Loan with option to buy for $1,000,000
          Overall: 62
          Position: CM
          Age: 18
          Wage: $2,000 per week

Hyndman is a young American that can play anywhere in the midfield. He may not get much playing time for the rest of the season but he will get chances and if he impresses he will get more time on the field. He will be number 46.

          Gianluca Caprari

          Bought From: Pescara
          Fee: $0 + Sone Aluko
          Overall: 68
          Position: LW
          Age: 21
          Wage: $10,000 per week

Caprari is being brought in to start for the B Team and hopefully grow enough to be a starter at some point in his career. The young Italian possesses the pace that I feel we so desperately need whenever we are chasing a game that we didn't really have. He we will be number 45.

          Douglas

          Bought From: Barcelona
          Fee: $1,200,000
          Overall: 68
          Position: RB
          Age: 24
          Wage: $20,000 per week

Douglas joins us to be Elmohamady's long term replacement. He has the physical stats to be able to run the line all game and will be a good addition. Although he has only made five appearances for Barcelona since joining Barcelona I think getting him for so cheap will prove to be good business. He will be number 44.

          Sadio Mane

          Bought From: Southampton
          Fee: $7,000,000
          Overall: 74
          Position: LM
          Age: 22
          Wage: $40,000 per week

The winger from Southampton can play anywhere across the front line, but will start in the CAM position where Ramirez played. He has good technical stats and is pretty quick so he can also play out wide if we need him too. He will be number 7. Also he is injured for the next two weeks.

          Kingsley Coman

          Bought From: Juventus
          Fee: $4,500,000
          Overall: 66
          Position: ST
          Age: 18
          Wage: $7,000

Coman is a young talent that I am glad to have. He will be third choice behind Benteke and Hernandez but I think he will lead the line for is some day. For now he will be number 43.

          Saul

          Bought From: Atletico Madrid
          Fee: $8,000,000
          Overall: 75
          Position: CDM
          Age: 20
          Wage: $60,000

Saul is being brought into force Huddlestone to the bench because of his lack of stamina. He has the qualities of a good defensive mid and can be in our midfield for a long time. Saul has excellent defensive stats and can even play center back. He will be number 13.

          Alex Pritchard

          Bought From: Brentford
          Fee: $2,500,000
          Overall: 68
          Position: CAM
          Age: 21
          Wage: $10,000 per week

Pritchard came up from Tottenham Hotspurs youth academy and has represented England at the u20 and u21 level. He has good stats for his position and can replace Quinn in the B Team. Pritchard will be number 42.

          League Match
          Hull City 0 - 2 Everton
          Lukaku 62' 76'

          MOTM Lukaku

Again we lose to Everton and again it was because of Lukaku. We kept it even for an hour before they finally scored. Baines played a brilliant ball over the top to Lukaku who reached it at the top of the box and he hit a first time volley past Butland who dove way too late. Lukaku scored again in the 76' when the ball was squared across the goal and he was the first one to it. We had some chances but no where near enough and we will need to play better in the future if we want to stay in the top half of the table come the end of season.

          FA Cup
          Hull City 0 - 0 Huddersfield

          MOTM Chester

A boring game that we should of won and I'm pretty mad that we have to play a replay. We almost lost and if not for a great save from Butland we would be out of the FA Cup. Hyndman made his debut for the club and had a pretty good game. He only misplaced one pass and besides that never lost the ball. He made several interceptions and tackles so that was one positive from that game.

          Butlands save.

          League
          West Ham 0 - 3 Hull City
          Brady 18'
          Benteke 21' (PEN) 87'

          MOTM Benteke

A good match to bounce back from the previous two performances. Brady opened the scoring with a header when he connected with a set piece that was swung in from Robertson. Right after the resulting kickoff Livermore got the and went down the line and crossed it into Benteke who hardly touched the ball but it was enough to redirect it past the keeper. Just before kickoff Benteke was brought down inside the box. He stepped up to take the penalty but hit the crossbar and it bounced out. We were pressuring them the entire game and should have scored more. We got our last chance near the end when Benteke was once again pulled down inside the box and we were given our second penalty of the game. This time he would bury it though and that's how the game finished.

          Brady's goal.

          FA Cup
          Huddersfield 1 - 2 Hull City
          Quinn 29'
          Wells 42'
          Hyndman 82'

          MOTM Butland

Im not sure that we deserve to go through based on this performance. If it wasn't for a great keeper this game may have been different. We were first to score just before half an hour into the game. Quinn was played over the top and took one touch before smashing the ball past the keeper, who didn't even move. Huddersfield would equalize a few minutes before half through Nahki Wells. They crossed the ball in and Wells was back post unmarked, he had enough time to settle the ball and then strike it. Butland had no chance because of how close Wells was. Luckily we were able to come away with the win with a goal from new signing Emerson Hyndman. He received the ball at the top of the box and proceeded to best his man and hit a hard shot past the keeper who, yet again, didn't move.

          Hyndman's goal.

          League Match
          West Brom 2 - 1 Hull City
          Gardner 13'
          Benteke 45'
          Ideye 70'

          MOTM Foster

If not for Foster we would have won this game. Craig Gardner open the scoring with a first time finish that I think Butland should have saved because it wasn't that hard and it was near post. We equalized right before halftime when Brady crossed into a wide open Benteke and he headed in with ease. West Brom won the game with a headed goal that should have been stopped but Ideye was left wide open.

          FA Cup
          Burnley 1 - 2 Hull City
          Ings (PEN) 71'
          Hernandez 85' 90'

          MOTM Hernandez

A close game and we almost got knocked out of the cup but we sneaked by yet again. Not much happened in the first hour but in the 70' Danny zings was brought down inside the box and a penalty was given. He smashed it straight down the middle but Butland dove to the left. Burnley proceed to park the bus and we switched to a 4-3-3 attacking to try and break them down. We finally got a goal in the 85'. Kingsley Coman who was subbed on to make his debut crossed it into the Box and Hernandez got to the end of it and sent a looooooping header over the keeper and barely under the bar. Moments before the final whistle Hernandez got on to the end of a cross again that was sent by newcomer Sadio Mane who also made his debut. Benteke had to be subbed off in the 18' because of injury and it turns out he sprained his ankle and will be out for 4 weeks.

          League Table:

          Starting Team:

          Bench: Hernandez (75), Coman (67), Hyndman (62), Huddlestone (76), Douglas (69), Chester (71), McGregor (73)

          B Team:

          Bench: Benteke (81), Coman (67), Meyer (70), Huddlestone, Elmohamady (72), McShane (66), McGregor (73)

          My Thoughts:

We have had better months but this month could have been worse as well. For the most part I am pretty happy with how we played just need to finish more chances. I think we made some good signings, some may not be instant starters but have time to grow and they are our future. Next month we have a big game against Manchester City, who are league leaders and Aston Villa who are behind us by just one point. We should beat Newcastle and Stoke easy enough has they are both threatened by relegation at the moment.

We were sad to see Gaston Ramirez go but we got a good price for him and I think Sadio Mane will be able replace him and his assist. Benteke was subject to lots of bids this window but nobody was willing to match the $90,000,000 that I was demanding and we are glad to keep hold of him.

          Fixtures:
          Manchester City (A) - League
          Aston Villa (H) - League
          Newcastle (H) - League
          Stoke (A) - League

Huddersfield would equalize a few minutes before half through Nahki Wells. They crossed the ball in and Wells was back post unmarked, he had enough time to settle the ball and then strike it. Butland had no chance because of how close Wells was. Luckily we were able to come away with the win with a goal from new signing Emerson Hyndman. He received the ball at the top of the box and proceeded to best his man and hit a hard shot past the keeper who, yet again, didn't move.

              Hyndman's goal.

              West Brom 2 - 1 Hull City

              Benteke 45'
              Ideye 70'

Hold on, did I just read 90 million for Benteke...???

Hey guys, I just made the switch to FIFA 15 from 13, and I am very confused with the GTN. Is there not a youth scouting system anymore? Can you only scout other teams players?

There is still a youth academy. On your career mode menu go to "office" and you'll see "youth staff" on the right hand side. GTN and youth scouting are two completely different things. The GTN is only for scouting players that you can buy from other teams. Back in 13 you could look at every players OVR and stats with a simple touch of a button. In 15 you can't see their OVR, stats, value, or wage until you scout them first. Depending on how good your GTN scout is it can take a week or almost a month to get a full report on a player you want to buy. Your GTN scouts and your youth academy scouts are completely separate.

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

                    July/August 2018 - Season 5
                    FIFA 15 (PS4)

                    Finances
                    Transfer Budget: $46.5m
                    Wage Fund: $220k

                    Season Objectives
                    • Qualify For Europa League
                    • Reach Copa Del Rey Round of 32
                    • Reach Champions League Group Stage

                    Transfer Window

                    Transfers Out

LM - Isma Lopez (Spain) (76 OVR 28yrs)
Sold to Getafe CF for $6.5m
Getafe seemed like the perfect club for him to go to. Upper mid table, and after scouting their team I noticed they are in need of wingers. He should be a starter for them and I look forward to playing against him. On behalf of Osasuna, I wish him the best and thank him for his contribution to a fantastic season last year.

                    CB - Miguel Flaño (Spain) (70 OVR 33yrs) (-1)
Sold to Eint. Frankfurt for $1.4m
This was a surprise. I really was not planning on selling him nor was I expecting to even receive an offer for him. I would have declined the offer and waited for him to retire with us, but since the beginning of this season his morale status has been unhappy with the statement "management is poor." The captain may not have been happy with being demoted to the B-Team last year and that may be where his unhappiness is coming from. His value is $925k and Frankfurt came with a big offer so they must plan on using him in their starting lineup. He was on a $45k salary with us and a 3 year contract but he actually accepted to take a pay cut to $20k and sign only a one year contract with Frankfurt. When I saw what they had offered him I thought he would decline, I was willing to keep him anyway, but he actually accepted their terms which again may have been because he was no longer happy here. I wish him the best. He was an Osasuna player for 14 years, and I will always consider him our captain.

LM - Julian Luque (Spain) (70 OVR 26yrs)
Sold to Real Betis for $2.0m
An important player for us in Liga Adelante but he was never able to keep up with the competition level in La Liga. The talent is there, because there were matches where he would be very dangerous with long shots from the middle of the field, but he wasn't consistent enough. He has a Champions League medal to show, and now his new challenge will be to help Real Betis fight for survival in La Liga after just being promoted.

CB - Unai Garcia (Spain) (65 OVR 25yrs)
Sold to RC Recreativo for $575k

                    Loaned Out

*GK - Eriq Lisch (United States) (74 OVR 18yrs)
                    Loaned to West Ham
I'm positive Moose will be able to help our youth goalkeeper develop and I have no doubt Lisch will repay him with solid performances in goal.

CB - Iñigo De Frutos (Spain) (68 OVR 23yrs)
                    Loaned to Racing Santander

*CDM - Eñaut Gabbiadini (Spain) (66 OVR 18yrs)
                    Loaned to Borussia Dortmund
A fantastic opportunity for our youth graduate who will be able to learn firsthand from some of Germany's top players. Excited to see in what shape he comes back.

CAM - Jose Garcia (Spain) (63 OVR 21yrs)
                    Loaned to Deportivo Alaves

*ST - Roussillon Murnane (Spain) (61 OVR 19yrs)
                    Loaned to Brøndby IF

                    Preseason Friendlies

                    CA Osasuna (B-Team) 2 - 2 VfB Stuttgart
                    STU: Gruezo 3' Ibisevic 75'
                    OSA: Santana 71' 85'
A poor start to Osasuna's preseason with Stuttgart's Gruezo scoring just three minutes into the match. The captain, Miguel Flaño, had let go of his mark and allowed him to head the ball into the net past Riesgo. Nothing else happened during the first half other than Osasuna struggling to find space in a well organized Stuttgart. Los Rojillos are quite slow down the middle with Martinez and the youth graduate Mario Santana, but they had speed on the wings with Sisi and Ferreiro. Unfortunately, neither was able to produce much through the flanks. Finally in the 71st minute the home side were able to equalize as Oier, playing his last season, passed the ball to Santana at the edge of the box and the debuting youth striker powered the ball into the back of the net with his left foot.

The Germans took the lead just four minutes later though, with Miguel Flaño once again losing his mark and allowing Ibisevic to head the ball into the net. El Sadar is a difficult stadium to win at though, and five minutes before the end of the match Santana completed his brace to equalize the match again! Second half sub Jose David Ramirez crossed the ball in from the left wing and since nobody was able to head it the ball fell perfectly at Santana's feet. Santana controlled the ball and then took a shot with his weak foot and beat the goalkeeper.

Not the best of starts for the team, but an amazing start to the young 17 year old's career who scored two goals in his first appearance with the Osasuna senior team.

                    INJURY NEWS
Ivan will be out for 3 weeks with a Sprained Ankle suffered during the match against Stuttgart.

                    FC Lorient 1 - 2 CA Osasuna
                    FCL: Orozco 45'
                    OSA: Guillermo 68' Palacios 75'
We have been expecting Osasuna to announce a new signing to replace Isma Lopez on the left wing but unfortunately for the anxious fans no announcement has been made. Osasuna kept their 4-3-3 Holding formation with Paré Bulhões Romeu starting at LW instead of his usual RB role. Romeu has been waiting for an opportunity to play in his natural position and today he finally got it. Sisi reappeared with the First Team as RB. The Basque side struggled against the French with Romeu unable to impress on the wing. Mexican striker Javier Orozco scored the first goal of the match right before halftime, raising his hand to be considered for the Mexican national team by Chavez for the upcoming Friendlies. Unable to make any damage, Chavez changed formations to a 4-3-3 Attack with Torres at CAM. The formation immediately changed the course of the match as Roberto Torres passed the ball to Guillermo and the star striker scored an amazing goal to equalize the match.

Guillermo was taken out of the match not too long after the goal and Santana replaced him at ST. Federico Palacios also came on to the match replacing Sisi, but swapped to LW so that Romeu could play RB. These two substitutions were key for the winner. Santana, playing barely his second match in his senior career, drifted wide to the right wing and crossed the ball into the box where Palacios was actually able to beat his marker in the air and head the ball into the net!

Osasuna had taken the lead and held it 'til the end without any more complications.

                    CA Osasuna (B-Team) 3 - 1 Burnley
                    OSA: Santana 16' 45' 61'
                    BUR: Hiljemark 63'
Osasuna took the lead pretty early on against a Burnley side that's managed to keep their top names throughout the years. Sam Vokes and Danny Ings are still playing together up front, but there was little they could do against Osasuna's solid defense led by Pedro Bigas and youth graduate Alex Garcia. Pedro Ramirez, a RB from Spain, made his Osasuna senior debut today and played a fantastic match. The team was playing great overall, and 16 minutes in Mario Santana let it show on the scoreboard by controlling a lobbed pass from David Ferreiro and then striking it into the back of the net in between the keeper's legs!

Santana would complete a brace, his second brace in the last 3 matches (2 as starter), right before halftime by creating a play himself and then taking a low and powerful shot on goal.

Osasuna were up 2-0 and Chavez, like the rest of the stadium, was ecstatic to see the recent youth graduate get on the scoreboard with such ease. The second half was just as enjoyable for the home fans as the first half was, and Mario Santana gave them more reasons to cheer in the 61st as the young Mexican striker from Osasuna's youth academy completed a hat-trick! Luis Martinez passed the ball over to Santana inside the box and the striker put in another powerful left footed shot to beat the keeper and make it 3-0 for the Basques!

Any doubts left by the Stuttgart match were completely thrown out the window now as the B-Team walked over Burnley. Burnley got a goal back just two minutes after Santana's, but it was for nothing more than than consolation. Santana was taken off in the 75th minute to receive his first round of applause from the home crowd at El Sadar.

CA Osasuna Best Player of Preseason

                    *ST - Mario Santana (Mexico) (70 OVR 17yrs) (+1)
                    **An Exciting Prospect
He had already impressed the coaching staff when he was with the U-17s and that's why he was promoted, but in his first ever preseason with the senior team he really stood out as the main man. 5 goals and 1 assist in 2 starts and 1 substitute appearance. Those are some good numbers for a player that has just made the jump to professional football. We are now expecting great things from the striker, but we hope the press doesn't inflate him too much. Too much attention can make a 17 year old crack very easily.

                    Preseason Headlines

                    The B-Team Have A Striker!
Santana, Santana, Santana. That's all the fans in Pamplona are talking about as they were hoping Chavez would sign a striker for the B-Team but it turns out they've had one all along in the youth academy. The B-Team hasn't looked this confident since Ulises Davila was playing with them and fans are anxious to see them on the pitch again. After last season's failed title run being blamed on the B-Team by most fans, they are now saying that this will be their year not only for the league title but also for the Copa Del Rey. We hate to be the naysayers, but we have to keep in mind that Mario Santana has never played in La Liga before. Yes he had an extraordinary preseason, but the preseason isn't the same as official matches at all. He may be talented, but will he be able to deal with the pressure of being the only striker without a more experienced partner?

Chavez, Where did All The Money Go?
The board is so happy with Chavez that they have practically gave Chavez a blank check and told him "Write down whatever you need." Despite having an open wallet Chavez has yet to make any signings this transfer window and seems to be betting on the youth academy. Isma Lopez hasn't been replaced yet and we're not so sure Romeu has what it takes to be the danger man on the wing. Not only that, but who will play RB now that Romeu has moved up to LW? The only choices Chavez has are Sisi who is a natural winger, Ivan, and the recent youth graduate Ramirez. The money is there, but it's just not be being used.

                    Conclusion
That's our preseason! Overall I'm very happy with the work that has been done and I'm looking forward to this season. As you can see, we've had a lot of players leave in the transfer window which was our goal. We still have two players on the loan list (Gavan and Nono) so we will be listening to any offers that come in. Since the end of last season I had been looking at LM's to bring in and I had already made my choice, but I have decided to give Romeu a chance. I've been playing him out of position ever since I promoted him so I want to see what he can do on the wing. If Romeu does not impress me there I will bring in a LM/LW and take Romeu back to RB. I was going to transfer list Maikel Mesa but he actually really impressed me in the preseason. Great control, dribbling, and great at getting attacks started. I will keep him with the reserves to battle Olavide for a spot in the B-Team.

The youth scout's vacations are over and it's time to get back to work since I had a lot of players leave the academy. A 4 star scout has been sent to Spain to search for technically gifted players.

So that's pretty much all I have. Our season starts with RCD Espanyol and I really want us to hit the ground running. We NEED a domestic title already! The board aren't expecting much given the objectives they gave me, but they gave me more than enough funds to finally step up this season and win our first title in Spain.
                    Thanks For Reading!

                        April

                        Match 29

                        Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool
                        Lallana 51
Unfortunately, I lost my notes so I will try to remember what happened. I know that Lallana got the only goal with an incredible strike from about 30 yards, into the top corner.

Champions League Quarter Final Leg 2

                        Borussia Dortmund 0-0 Liverpool
Dortmund were all over us in this match but Butland made some excellent saves to deny the likes of Aubameyang and Reus. Our defence was incredibly strong, Otamendi winning man of the match as we stood firm against their pacey attack. We came close to scoring late on, a shot gliding just past the post.

                        Match 30

                        Liverpool 2-0 Manchester United
                        Balotelli 31
                        Borini 78

Balotelli gave us the lead after half an hour, despite United's complete control and 67% possession. Keita ran down the wing to the byline and floated a ball in for Balotelli to head in with power. Falcao missed a wonderful chance, a low ball in to him but he somehow managed to put it over from 6 yards. Leno made a brilliant save to deny the Colombian's header. He fired over another great chance after a wonderful set piece routine, tearing apart our defence with some good passing from the free kick. Rooney put a diving header just wide as United pushed for what would be a deserved goal. However, we attacked again, Sterling going on an incredible run beating multiple defenders before firing goalwards. Valdes made a great save but Borini followed in to fire home.

                        Match 31

                        Swansea 2-2 Liverpool
                        Lambert 36
                        Sigurdsson 40
                        Sturridge 42
                        Oliveira 90

The first chance of the game was a powerful Sturridge header that was brilliantly saved by Fabianski, the Pole leaping well to get a hand to it. Lambert gave us the lead with a powerful effort into the corner after dispossessing Fernandez on the edge of his box. Gylfi equalised soon after with a powerful header after both N'Koulou and Otamendi left the ball thinking the other would get it. Sturridge quickly regained our lead, his deflected effort finding the corner. The second half was quite dull but Oliveira was able to grab a point for the Welsh side, firing in after initially hitting the post.

Champions League Semi Final Leg 1

                        Liverpool 1-1 FC Bayern
                        Alonso 6
                        Balotelli 86 (PEN)

Bayern took an early lead in this game through Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso, playing at Anfield for the first time since leaving. The ball was pinballing around the goal before being half-cleared, only for the ball to be fired back into the box for Xabi to smash into the bottom corner. A Coutinho header forced Neuer into a decent save before Butland made an incredible stop to deny an acrobatic effort by Lewandowski. Alonso came close to a second, taking a touch to beat the defender before placing the ball just wide. Sterling proved a nightmare for Alaba, and the youngster continually was able to cut inside and fire a shot that would usually be stopped by Boateng or Neuer. We got a deserved equaliser late on from the penalty spot, Sturridge being brought down with a shirt tug. Needless to say, it was a soft penalty, but I'll take it!

                        Match 33

                        West Brom 1-2 Liverpool
                        Mulumbu 21
                        Lambert 23
                        Lambert 76

Champions League Semi Final Leg 2

                        FC Bayern 0-1 Liverpool
                        Balotelli 73
The first chance was a Lewandowski header that flew over the bar. Ribery then had an amazing chance after a great run, but he fired it well wide. Coutinho forced an incredible save by Neuer, his curling effort from distance being tipped wide by the German keepers fingertips. Robben began to give us trouble, but Moreno was able to deal with him by keeping him pushed onto his right foot, essentially ending all threat from him. We took the lead with a Balotelli strike into the corner after Lallana played the ball into the box for the unmarked Italian to smash in. Soon after, Butland failed to control a pass back and lunged in to give away a penalty. Robben stepped up, but Butland got fingers to it to tip it onto the post and it was cleared away. We are in the final!

                        20. Southampton 21

                        Thoughts

So we go into May with a very close top of the table, just 3 points between 1st and 5th. We play Chelsea and a win there could be enough for the title, but Crystal Palace and Stoke are no pushovers. I expect to win comfortably against QPR and Newcastle, but I need to win more than just those to be comfortable. It would be disappointing to lose out on the title, but as long as I get top 3 I am happy.

The Champions League final will be against Real Madrid, a tough match against the reigning champions. It will be the most difficult match of the season, with a strike force of Ronaldo, Aguero and Bale being fed chances by a midfield including Kroos, Modric and James, Butland will have a tough time keeping them out.

Tubbs dribbled to the left side of the box and faked a shot in order to cut it back to the inside and place the ball inside the far post. Falcao found Berbatov in the box and he sent the defender the wrong way and then beat the keeper on the left side of the goal.

Duffey sent a cross in from the right wing and Gnaduillet was able to rise above Robinson and head it back across into the top right corner.

Injury Struggles - Injuries hit hard this month and our training room has been crowded. Adam Webster, George Francomb, Marlon Pack, Manuel Hahn, Danny Hollands, Jed Wallace, and Matt Rhead have all been forced out due to injuries. We will have to be more careful moving forward and rotate the line up more to keep the players from getting over-worked.

Capital One Cup - We pulled out a dominating win over Crystal Palace to move on to the quarter final. This is the same stage where we got knocked out last year by Chelsea. This time we go against another Premier League giant in Manchester United. The Red Devil's are no joke, and we will have to be at our best to give ourselves a chance.

Europa League - A loss and a win this month moved us from last to second in the table. That win still took two goals in the final two minutes, including a 90th minute penalty. This competition is harder than anything we have faced in some time. It will be a struggle to move past these group stages, but we are currently in position to do it if we can hold our place.

How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

This is it guys the final recap for my Real Betis CM as well as the Final squad update

Year 1 had us in the Liga Adelante where we dominated on rout to a league title.

Year 2 our first season in La Liga had us finishing sixth allowing us to qualify for the Euro League.

Year 3 had us finishing 3rd in La Liga and getting to the Quarterfinals of the Euro League as well as getting to the CDR Semifinals(losing to Real Madrid 5-4 on aggregate)

Year 4 had us finishing 3rd in La liga for the 2nd year in a row. We reached the Champions League final on rout to a terrible loss to Bayern Munich. We also made it to the CDR semis before losing to Barcelona.

Year 5 was a "bad" year for Betis. So many injuries plagued us this year. The one good thing that happened was us winning the La Liga title. We lost in the Quarterfinals in both the CDR and Champions League

Year 6 was a great year for the Club almost winning a Treble. We won La Liga for the 2nd year in a row. We also won the CDR. We faltered in the Champions League final as Real Madrid avenges their CDR final loss to us on rout to a 2-1 win.

Year 7 ended as a year 6 repeat. We won La Liga for the 3rd year in a row and the CDR for the 2nd year in a row. Once again we lose in the CL final but this time we lose to my favorite English team Crystal Palace who managed a Quadruble(4 titles in a year) they had a year to remember as they won the BPL by a massive 20 points , beat City in the League cup, Beat Spurs in the FA cup as well as us in the Champions League.

Ok guys, I have reached the start of the January window, so am gonna do a big update both before and after the transfer dealings, seeing as you no longer have any idea who's in my squad.

To sum up its been a varied first half of the season, with a dodgy start juxtaposed by champions league qualification and then a rise to 3rd in the league. We sit 5 points off leaders Dortmund.

                              This is our A team

                              And this our B Team

There is a nice blend of experience and youth, although Bellarabi and Bender are starting to decline in stats which is really frustrating as neither are 30 yet and play regularly.

As you may have noticed the likes of Felipe Anderson and Cahlanoglu have gone due to the squad regulations, and we now have a squad full primarily of German guys, but also of central European origin.

The whole A team B Team thing is working well, and it's nice to be able to use my younger players regularly and see their development first hand.

The arrival of Robin Van persie up front has not been as impactful as I hoped, and I will be looking for another striker to compete not only for the B Team spot with Kiessling (who signed a new 1 year deal in December) but potentially for the a team as van persie may well leave already, and if not in the summer.

Maximillian Beister, our 88 rated left winger has started to show his class, whilst Eric Durm has won the battle with Fabio Pavlovic for the a team left back spot.

Here is a full list of our squad

Hope you guys enjoy the update, and I apologise in advance about the presentation as it's my first update using the Tapatalk app! Please leave some improvements as well!! [emoji12] [emoji2]

Agreed. It was a really exciting, and stressful, tournament for me and it sucked to have it end that way. When it was all over I was just thinking that I couldn't wait for the next World Cup to start and then I went "oh yeah, that's in another four years." Lol. I think we have a Copa America in this current season though so really looking forward to that one!

Needless to say, my midfield is pretty much decimated right now.

My God! At least there isn't any long term injuries with the longest being 5 weeks. Better than 2 or 6 months. I don't mind having the injuries that you do since the players will miss a few games but I've always hated when you have a player miss the entire season because of an injury especially when that player is over 30. Hope Francomb recovers quick and gets his form back up right away!

Thanks man! Little spoiler here one of the LM/LW that I have my eye on is one of your own: Dani Pacheco. You've said great things about him and although he's not the fastest he's got incredible ball skills. And by the way I couldn't see him in your last Betis update. Is he no longer with your squad? It's great to see you went that far with Betis and it's been your all time favorite career on FIFA but it's a shame you were never able to win the Champions League. And how did Crystal Palace reach the final?!!! Isn't this the second career of yours in which Palace becomes a top club? They must have some high potential players or they just always get a takeover. Any chance you'll get the career back up for season 9 and make one last push for the Champions League?
