Well, unsure of where else to turn, I’m going to ask this forum for some help. I play a mixture of the legendary and harder legendary sliders. I’ve found that 15min, slow is the best for this year as well to get realistic stats (mostly shots taken).
No matter what I do, the AI seems to score in absolute droves, other than that the game feels and plays great. Even into the 60th minute with shot error on 80, I was tied 1-1 and then BOOM… 3 straight goals and there was nothing I could do about it.
Does anyone have any advice? I’m a long time fifa player, using full manual controls. This game is either too easy or too impossible, I cannot seem to find the middle ground.

You may need to lower their acceleration and just see how it goes from there. 50/49 or even 50/48. Gauge from there.

Appreciate you, as always. Will give it a try. I’ve also seen as a FUMA user on legendary that marking at 65 seems to help a lot. When at 70 I just have no room to maneuver with manual controls.

The summer tournament is really just good for bringing the sharpness of the players. The cpu doesn’t put itself there properly in a summer tournament, but not really in reality

Yeah I now drop the difficulty for the summer tournaments. They should be a time to experiment, learn your players, get into sharpness but the CPU plays it like it's the world cup lol

Is it me or before the patch the ai would somewhat defend in the box they could get even like 7 to 8 players tracking back but now i feel they are back at defending at like 5-6 players at most in the box ??? I’m I crazy or those little Timmy got their win again probobly called crying about this game is to defensive please EA make this a volta Ronaldinho fest … nerf the defending back to those statue standing !! please tell me im mistaking

That doesn't make any sense because every team defend different. You can't match Liverpool defence with Aston Villa, f.i. Lpool defend making a high press letting only the CBs back while AV defend with a back line of 5 sitting deep. That's something that won't change tweaking sliders or with a gameplay patch.

Yes, sometimes. What I miss is why the cpu is playing its best and not the youngsters. That was the case in older fifak.

That doesn't make any sense because every team defend different. You can't match Liverpool defence with Aston Villa, f.i. Yes thanks for giving us footage yesterday i whas a lil fed up whit this game because before the latest patch i whas having some of my best experience whit fifa since like two years then i felt FIFA got back to this 21 feel but this morning before school i did a match on my PSG career vs Nantes and the feel wasn’t too bad for me i always put a 4-5 discrepancy in acceleration for the cpu to make the game more fun and challenging that’s just me personally but whit EA we never know sometime in a patch they say they change little stuff that makes a big difference and unfortunately very often it’s for the worst anyway I’ll play more game later on to see how i feel whit the game after the latest patch !!

There was an issue with squads last year which affected the tables as teams were starting weak players. in classic EA fashion they over fixed the issue and now teams start their best 11 regardless of the opponent. In the Carabao Cup you'll see teams like Man U, Liverpool, Barca, etc starting their strongest 11 against league 2 teams.

I tried to post this issue over on answers.EA but of course nothing.

I've played enough on V8 to say it's a solid set of sliders. I'm on PS4 harder world class.

9/10 games are solid. Every once in a while there's a match where the CPU destroys me early on, but I'm playing a unique system so match-ups with that can be part of the cause (3-2-2-1-2)

I've had to move my CONCACAF + CONMEBOL super league over to Europe to get more fixtures, get the other clubs in the league more active in the transfer window, and to make the objectives in CM align better. It's been fun starting over again.

Plus, V8 allowed me to uncork this wondergoal in a World Cup final...I will never score a nicer strike from outside the box in my Fifa career 😳

I played three games with the v8 sliders, slightly adjusted and I am very happy with the result. Instead of 32 for pass speed for the CPU, I used 35 and for shot error 62 instead of 68. I also used 50 for shot speed.
The game is very realistic and games are really interesting to play.

This game is something else haha. I have AI shot error on 75 and GK Ability on 65 and it’s still an absolute goal fest. Add in the constant crashing of the game, this may be the end of the line for me.
