Quick question for basically anyone: are these really tuned properly for 10 *or* 15 minutes per half? It says both but having a hard time understanding how it could be; the difference between the two is an entire half of play. Shouldn’t it most definitely be one or the other? Thank you.

As with any set you're free to make adjustments if you feel the need.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
So what are ppl's thoughts on the latest Patch ? Did u guys enjoy the Gameplay better before last week's Patch came out ? Or is the Gameplay better now ? Cus I have not updated , I'm just loving LOVING the Gameplay I got . I honestly don't think I'll be updating for the rest of the year . I could care less about Sqaud Updates or noodle arm fixes for youth players . Unless they come out with a patch that fixes the Worst of the Worst such as the CBs shuffling , than I'm in no rush to update anything .

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
Is there a way to somehow set the game (game play therefore) back to update 1 somewhere in the files or is that not possible after an update?
I played with the sliders V8 and played about 6-7 games and the game play seemed so much like online. I couldn't get into the game. I might have to tinker with the sliders a bit myself but currently the responsiveness, like sprinting (and I like to play on slow and not have sprint high like pace noobs) is just counterintuitive and it feels like playing on bad servers and with delay. I cannot get a grip on the game nor do I therefore get into the game. It reminds me so much of the game play from Fifa 16, with the scripted back heel fancy pass outside of the box some close to indefensible tiki-taka passing and then a goal from outside the box right into the top corner, mind you also the GKs corner. 1-to-1 Fifa 16. I found really good sliders for Fifa 16, which made me play CM on 16 for 5 years with mods etc. But currently even with the sliders I find it unplayable. So I am hoping to somehow get the game play to patch 1 and I would be the happiest and play 22 for another 5 years. Any suggestions?Comment

Spoony pizzas made a video about it too, because his sliders are ****ed up too.
I managed to get the same feeling I had lowering the acceleration a couple of points. I assume Matts last update was after that patch, so surely he has already taken it into account for V8.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders

Gameplay is different depending on half length. For instance on 4 minutes it’s quite rapid and hectic compared to 10 minute halves. Essentially the AI is trying to cram 90 minutes worth of action into 8 minutes total. So, for me I’m trying to find a good balance to play on 15 min halves, takes some work but the base to the OS sliders is a great place to be.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
I'm sure EA has speed up the game after the last patch. I was using a set of sliders that made me feel the weight of the players before turning or sprinting and that is all gone after the last update.

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
So is there a possibility to delete update 2 and 3 and then have game play be reverted to update 1? I thought I had seen something called "update" in the files somewhere, so that's where I got the idea. I do have the suspicion, it isn't possible, except with maybe some mod manager.
I have the digital version. Could I copy the current folder and have the current game and play that online and also reinstall the original game and thus have 2 versions, 1 with the original patch and one with the current 3rd patch? Is there maybe a way with repairing the game? I read in some threads that the game when reinstalling will install update 3 right away. Is that circumventable by installing the game and then having the game play offline?Last edited by 2cu3be1; 11-20-2021, 06:35 AM.Comment

Re: FIFA 22 OS Community Sliders
If the defensive line integrity issue only happened on counter-attacks, then I could somewhat live with it. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Allowing it to happen essentially breaks the whole concept of being a defender in the first place, or working as a unit. Seeing the jockey is one thing, but it doesn't mean instantly we're able to even connect the pass that quickly. The pressure on the wings is enough that getting the cross in is just as difficult - giving more time for the jockeying defenders to wake up.
Space is limited - so why would I be okay with voluntarily giving up space and allowing defenders to run away? You pointed out one time the jockey happened, and even then I tried to take advantage and couldn't. The defensive line integrity would happen much more often, and the space would be gigantic.
I liked 55/48 Sprint/Acc a lot, which made it incredibly upsetting to have to bring back the chance of the CB jockey. However, the CB jockey isn't 100% convertible - as I showed in that video. I played 3 matches total (mainly for OS slider explanation video) and I saw a total of two CB jockeys, the one you mentioned and another one that I will show as Derby County vs Bournemouth.
This is FIFA, you have to make sacrifices because the game isn't designed for what we're trying to do. I'd love if 1 of the 2 issues be fixed in whatever update comes out next.Last edited by sergiomu; 11-20-2021, 06:03 AM.Comment
