Yes, that was what I figured but I cant figure out what the other "A" is. Still none the wiser and it's bugging me

I think it stands for "Defensive Angle Animation", if i'm not mistaken.

Definitely not that . Now it's driving me crazy cus I can't remember exactly lol
But I'm certain it's not Angle Animation

Edit : I swear it wasn't even called ' DAA ' but ' ADD ' Attentive Defensive Disorder ?? LOL
This is driving me nuts, someone please just answer this . Im remembering it as ADD , not DAA

So this must have been a new thing that first got mentioned in Fifa 23? Cus I've been around since Fifa 17 on here and never heard it be called ' Defensive Angle Animation '
I skipped Fifa 23 , so I missed out on that new DAA . I always remembered ' ADD '

That might be true, but DAA is the problem when a "defending player takes a sharp and illogical angle towards the ball carrier" as stated on that page.
It might have been called something else, or was a different type of problem in previous fifa's.

Been messing with sliders a lot today & I think long balls & crosses are linked not only to the team’s tactics but also run frequency.

I read a few pages back people dropping RF to 25 & below. Now what I’ve seen today with V4 as per OP & then altering RF I saw teams not crossing at all & more importantly not hitting long balls down field like they did at 35. This could be the reason Matt & the team have it set for this high. I know people want to slow down the game by dropping RF but there’s a reason it’s high.


Also @matt10 what are the issues with upping marking slider, I know they mark tighter so I could be easier to turn & beat the defender if your quicker but what are the other problems by doing this?

Yeah I was one of those testing lower RF , and I really think it doesn't matter if it's at 50 or 1 when it comes to crossing the ball . I kept replaying against Union Berlin and the would constantly whip in crosses on both RF 35 and 5 . It made no difference to them what RF it was on. I think it's all team tactics+ player instructions based

I just noticed something when doing a few kick of match training exercise, and I was wondering if anyone else noticed the same in game. I was struggling to get reasonable power on free kicks, which was similar in the training session, but then I did the"timed finishing" that was displayed and the power was back to normal(strong kicks) when green timing or close to green timing. When clicking too late there was no power - like what I had been experiencing when just clicking one and ignoring timed finishing What surprised me is I have turned finishing turned off so I didn't expect any impact - but there was in training. I haven't tried in game, but I will. I believe timed finishing comes up on free kicks even if you have it turned off but I'm not 100% sure. Has anyone else noticed this? It might be a helpful tip if it's true.

Finally had an opportunity to DL the update, reset my profile and just set the sliders to V4 harder legendary. I'm done trying to re-invent the wheel. I played a really enjoyable and challenging match that ended up the way it should've. To the person who "posts up" and turns easily... raise FT error to 100, if that's exhausted then idk.

Hey guys! Alex from Sweden here. Been a big fan of this forum for years and finally decided to register.

Having a blast with the game so far! Almost magically entertaining. Big thanks to Matt and everyone, you’re true heroes!

My game often resets so I’m forced to apply the sliders and all other settings almost every time I boot the game. Very annoying. I bought the game from Gamekeys (cheaper), maybe it has something to do with that? I don’t connect to the EA servers (almost thought for a seconds it may be related to that?!)

I also can’t have the game in Swedish, so for example having trouble knowing how tall the players are because it doesn’t say in centimeters ��

Hello! I also play on PS5, it also happens that the game resets the settings, so this is normal) In general, the game supports the Swedish language, perhaps the account you are playing on belongs to a region where it does not exist. But I would try to download the required language manually.

What do we have to erase ? DLC FILE or personnal setting file ? Or both ?

Still, you need to delete both files. I was doing a test, the game works fine until it downloads the update file. As I understand it, this file is responsible for those updates that they can make online. Once it happened that even without connecting to the servers the game became faster, I restarted it and the file was already downloaded. You need to periodically go into your profile and see whether it’s worth it or not) Although you can understand the difference by changing the speed of the game. By the way, I play on PS5 and I don’t have any problems with brightness. Immediately after the update, the players moved in jerks, after deleting personal settings and the online update file, everything became fine. So it may be that not all PS 5 owners have a brightness error.

I'm on PS5 and have never had this issue. I have 2 thoughts. #1 Disc or NO #2 Do you save, close game, then enter rest or power off? I wouldn't leave the app suspended then go into rest mode
