The training this year if completed correctly, gives the players you use in the training session a temporary play style for that match only.

Friends, a question, I am playing a career mode for the first time in EA FC 24.

I see that they removed the training? Doesn't one have to do them anymore? Manually? Is everything automatic?

Because I don't understand what it is that they make you play every time before every game.

Thanks for the answers to the previous question about training in career mode.

Now, in the training plan, do you recommend always leaving it balanced? Or when there is no game or preseason, demand them to the maximum so that the ease increases?

Still not sure on goalkeeping at 53, the flappy arm attempt saves are back, the ones where the ball travels close to the goalie & they just flap their arms when even a simpleton would save it.

Think I’m seeing it more when goalkeepers are rated under 70 like in MLS & Saudi Pro League etc.

Not sure what the other option is though as like Matt said on higher slider they do the backwards unrealistic saves instead.

Guess it's just another case of the pick your poison thing.
I feel like goalkeepers become useless on anything close to ~50. So I bumped it up to 60 again and they can actually save some 1v1 scenarios now and not just let the ball as always. I don't really mind the little "backwards saves", maybe cause I've never paid enough attention or never actually spotted them.
So yeah, I guess you either get rid of the backwards saves and make the goalkeepers let shots go in, or you buff them so they're not useless but they make some not so realistic saves.

Since i guess its not my sliders not working, I feel like this game right now is just playing too fast. Passing is too fast, running is too fast.

That is most likely good to go. Just sorting out Sprint/acc values once and for all. WC default needed more attention in particular because DAA was still very much alive.

After that we've dropped marking for legendary/ultimate to 48/48 to help reduce the perfect defending positions, and let there be some breathing room without having to increase length.

Will have a writeup and the update later today, just about done.

Hi everyone. I dont know how lot of you enjoy the game as I have not been able to enjoy this game at all n feel this is the worst Fifa made by them. Following are some of the issues I have been facing:

Firstly I play on PC with keyboard as I m not at all comfortable with the joystick. Fifa shld either stop releasing it on PC or be very specific that play with joystick only.

1. I have been using current sliders of Matt and playing on Legendary Level. My controls are manual as well as semi-assist in shots and lob passes. I have been noticing that CPu Pass Error is always at 0 even when I have kept it at 72. Dont know whats the issue but this is the one major issue I have been facing. Have to check my sliders when starting a new game. Once I set it back to 72 it stays till the time I shut down.

2. I think Sprint and Acc is broken coz when I get frustrate I put CPU Sprint and ACC all the way down to 0 but still they are able to move with ease and lot of times there wingers is able to kick the ball up ahead and quickly run on to it while my defenders struggle to keep pace with them. In earlier versions there never used to be such an issue. Obviously once I get the ball i am still able to move the ball ahead but still its not easy to just go through and score goals for fun when keeping Sprint and Acc at 0 for CPU.

If someone can provide me some tips it wld be useful otherwise this is a waste of money this season and I really will need to call it quits going forward.

So lately I m finding the game more manageable now. Only few issues I m facing if someone can help in that.

1. Whether in game tactics really help? I mean while defending I select Team Pressing but I hardly see my players step up in pressing and defend. Due to that a lot of times I m getting bypassed by the CPU players with their crisp passing even with Pass Error at 72. Only few times there passes will be error strewn.
2. While defending my box I have seen my CPU teammates just stand off and not defend at all. I have to keep on switching my players due to which CPU is able to shoot easily. Now unless their shot error actually works their shots will be wide otherwise they r towards the goalkeeper. Also since I am not good at all defending plus as I said using keyboard so majority of times lot of my players give away space to opposition to shoot. Thankfully right now m playing in championship and there r not much clinical players otherwise they wld just keep on scoring goals after goals.
3. Also dont know whether its the difference in sprint and acc between my full backs and opposition but majority of times opposition wingers are able to easily bypass my FB and get inside the box from wide space to either shoot themselves or cutback to their teammates to shoot.

A little help in these situations can just maybe lighten my mood and make it more enjoyable. Right now since m playing first season the summer window has been kept disabled so just waiting for winter window to open and try to strengthen my team and then check out whether there is any improvement or not.

Took about 2 weeks off with all the chaos and plugged these bad boys in on FUMA Harder Leg. I enjoyed the heck out of my first match. The tactics were apparent. It flowed smoothly. I loved it. My only gripe were 2 and especially 1 ridiculous save my their GK.

I think I found a way to make the game more challenging and even. Use custom tactical vision and your players won’t receive too much attribute boost. I found the game more challenging since doing this. Felt more sim like. I don’t believe the cpu teams receive player attribute boosts, so this would make sense. Sound stupid?

I'm really interested on everyone's feedback to this. I find the game more difficult using Custom. I assume it's due to the boosts being almost non existent. Unsure if the CPU even receives attribute boosts

Yes you are right. Career mode becomes more challenging and fun not using Trainers and using Custom Tactical.

Another thing is.. I am playing Career mode with Newcastle Utd. And I have some Rules:
1. I Cannot buy players from the teams in the list (until I win the Premier League or Champions League):
2. If one of the teams with an (X) wants to buy a player from my team, I have to sell it no matter what.
3. Don't negotiate. Let your assistant do the negotiations with teams and players, you will spend more money buying and get less income from the players you sell and also negotiations will take more time.

I don't go as in depth but I do pretty much the same. If a team like Real Madrid comes in for Saka, I'll let him go unless his salary and Arsenals performance fits with Arsenal

Guys, I want to start a career mode with Betis, but I'm afraid that in a month or two months, EA will release an update with new faces for La Liga.

Does anyone know if a massive face update is likely to come soon in La Liga? Or are they only waiting for the 3 promoted clubs from the Premier, Celtic and Rangers?

Betis has scanned 22 faces of 33 players on the squad, the ones that are not scanned, the majority are from the club's youth players.

Real Betis Balompié is an excellent choice for starting a career mode save; mid-table club with generally realistic manager objectives, and good quality. Many of the face scans for La Liga have already been instituted in the game over the past three months. The majority of low potential under twenty youths will never get scanned, as they generally get released from the squad by the real club, or 'relegated' to their youth league. I just started a career mode save with this team earlier in the week. One factor to watch out for is the three oldest players in the squad; Bravo (GK, 40), Guardado (CDM, 36), and Sokratis (CB, 35). At random, any or all of these players can be designated for retirement at the start of the career. When this occurs, there is a bug, in which retiring players will demand a contract extension within four months, and your manager rating will be reduced by twenty to twenty-five points when you do not resign them (impossible action to execute, due to retirement). Retiring players cannot be sold, traded, or released. This issue was supposed to be resolved in Title Update 4, however, still occurs frequently. For my save, I had to terminate and restart the career mode seventeen times, before all three players were available (not retiring). I immediately placed them for sale in the transfer market; sold two, and released the third at the end of the first transfer window to avoid the retirement clause.

In addition, my personal tactics when starting any career mode is to recall all loaned players in the squad, then under the 'Financial' tab, sort by player value, and release any player in the squad with a value of less than one million Pounds/Dollars/Euros. This practice will not only remove most players from the squad without a face scan, but also force you to rotate the squad in matches, hopefully keeping players from submitting transfer requests for minimal playing time. In my experience, few of them actually sell, in part due to Top Flight club wage structures, and also a new bug in EA FC 24, where faceless (devoid of face scan) players rarely sell. I have started career mode saves with Sheffield United and Real Sociedad this year, and faceless players like Zakharyan (LW, Real Sociedad, 20 years old, 94 potential), Souza (CDM, Sheffield United, 24 years old, 82 potential), and Davies (CM, Sheffield United, 25 years old, 77 potential), have never sold or traded, even into the second season of the career.

In the past maybe , but things have changed in the last 5 years or so . They are a top 5-6 club usually year in n year out now , always competing for European competition. Great fun team to start a CM with , and they probably have the nicest 3 kits in the game in my opinion. They are beautiful so that's a plus . Can't go wrong with Real Betis
