How do you clean the cache ?

Normally I shut down and unplug for a few to clear the short term memory, but I occasionally go a full cache clear - below stolen from the good old internet for ps5:

Follow these steps to clear the cache on a PlayStation 5:
Press and hold the PS button on your controller.
Select Turn Off PS5.
Wait until the PlayStation 5 power indicator light shuts off.
Press and hold the power button on your PlayStaion 5 untill you hear a second beep.
This should take about 7 seconds.
Connect your controller using the USB cable, then press the PS button on your controller.
Select Clear Cache and Rebuild Database, then select Clear System Software Cache.
Select OK.
Your PlayStation 5 will restart when cache is cleared.


*Edit - I should note that I have no guarantee that any process will work. It seems somewhat random, but this has worked for me when the game got"stuck" with weird physics and settings etc.

For these sliders, do you turn on Player Based Difficulty? And what camera settings do you all prefer?

As mentioned it's up to u . If ur on World class n maybe want a slightly more better CPU, then go ahead n turn it on . It's all personal preference really . But most I believe play with it off , as do I . And camera most use Broadcast. Again height n zoom is personal preference. I use 0 height with max 20 zoom

I used to play with PBD in FIFA 23 to make it slightly harder but not much. It might help if you find WC a bit too easy but it might break the game/make the CPU too OP in random cases. Personally, I haven't tried it yet but might give it a shot.


As for the camera, I like the EA Sports Game Cam with the default settings. I've never seen that setting until I played 23. I think it's good cause it's a good mix between the CO-OP and the Broadcast view.

Have any of u tried making a super League of types ?? I've just been looking into what some people do , and what caught my eye is making a all Scandinavian League , or what im more interested in is a Belgium/Dutch league.

Moving over the bigger clubs from Holland to the Belgium Pro League. And as I recall this nearly did happen irl as well . That has me really excited to try it out , just wish EA finally put in a stadium Creator or at the very least more generic stadiums .
It's such a extremely easy thing for them to do/add , n the fact that thru out all these years they haven't bothered really speaks volumes...

With 6 minutes Legendary + FUMA 78 shot error is really crazy. I`ll try it out

On FUMA use what's comfortable for you in terms of shot error, imo.

It might just be me but I feel like the speed differential update has changed the game quite a bit. Feel like it's impossible to break away with any of my wingers, is there maybe a middle ground if there's a big change from 10 to 55 for the CPU?

I am also finding the game still really fast for selecting slow-paced. I did also the necessary changes by deleting dlc and not connecting to EA servers etc I really cannot find the sweet spot at the moment. really considering switching to default speed since sprint is at 5? any recommendations please?

you can go back to V6 values for speed and acc if you enjoy them.

Player Based Difficulty off. No need to OP top players. Imagine Mbappe with speed discrepancy and PBD on.

If you aim for realism you can only play with two cameras: broadcast or EAGameCam. Zoom and height are personal, but every single stadiums has his own zoom and height. You only need to play on Broadcast in the Bournemouth stadium to see what I'm saying.

Really enjoying version 7 harder legendary but with cpu sprint at 30. Played 5 games of my palace career mode won 2 lost 2 drawn 1 finding it a lot more challenging which is what I wanted!

Yeah you're absolutely right. Version 6 with a few tweaks and player based difficulty is where it's at for me.
