Re: MLS OF - PES 2010 for PS3 (US version)
As for ML, I'd say go with Scandinavian teams if you're looking to fill out divisions with MLS sides. The stats and level of play between these leagues are relatively close, both in the game and in real life.
Also: not sure on the exact timeline, but expect another update out within a few days to catch up with further MLS roster movement (Nery Castillo, Bravo?, Marquez?, Zizzo, Coudet?, etc.)Comment

Connoll, is Football Manager the best program to use for naming players? I had found a picture pack for the Greek teams.......but had no clue how to add those to the demo..........I'm guessing they would only be good for the full version.
Once I create this for PES2010, is there anyway to convert these files for PES2011? I know on the PS2 that was possible, but I hear with next gen it has not been.Comment

Sidenote: I personally don't really like to use FM converted stats for PES, but often rely on them when other avenues to research stats have dried up.
As for face packs, that's probably for the PC version, no? I'm not terribly familiar with PC editing, unfortunately.
You can assign face scans to players in the console versions, but I've never really dabbled in that.
Having said that, again, I'm not really fluent in PC editing. You should probably ask someone who is, if that's the route you're pursuing.Comment

First, sorry for not catching your questions earlier in the thread, but it seems like others (here & on PESGaming) have pitched in with answers. I've been a little lax with message board stuff recently b/c of preoccupation with life elsewhere.

thanks for the reply. Sounds like a good idea. Also, thanks for the news on the update. Although I would be shocked if Marquez actually comes but you never knowComment

Naming players? Do you mean creating players and assigning them stats? It is common for people to use Football Manager-to-PES stats conversions for players, especially when stats aren't readily at hand (ie, when creating, say, a whole league). Your other option for finding stats is to research other PES forums, go back to past versions of PES, or consult places like PSD (for example, for Greece: http://www.pesstatsdatabase.com/super-league-greece/).

Some of the PC editing for this game is wicked from vids and screenshots that I have seen. I am mainly a console gamer, but if I can find the PC version this has me intrigued. FIFA 11 will be great with the creation center that we can use on the PC, but the problem again is will we be able to use any of those teams in MM or even create a league with them which knowing EA I highly doubt.
Convert which files? If, say, the PNG parameters are the same for 2011 as 2010, I'd guess it'd be possible to use them. However, Konami has tended not to make stuff easily convertible/port-able in previous versions of the game, so I'd doubt they'd do that in the future.
