player form
I am currently in fixture week 15 with Villarreal and have a question on player form. As this seems to fluctuate from match to match, even if a player never sees time on the pitch, I am curious how much this adds / subtracts from a players overall rating. For instance, your starting striker is 85 with a down arrow while your substitute striker is an 80 with an up arrow. Does this make them level?Tags: None -
Re: player form
That's a good question.
From what I've read, If a player has the red arrow, get them on the pitch and if it's the purple arrow leave them home.'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'-Bill Shankly -
Re: player form
Somewhere out there this is an explanation of what the arrows mean.I think each level represented 15% But, that info didnt come from Konami so I don't know how much stock to put in it.
If its a superstar, I would play him with a blue arrow but never with purple.Comment

Re: player form
Since that chart says Pro Evolution 5, do the %'s still ring true?Last edited by jesmith29; 01-28-2011, 08:42 PM.'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'-Bill ShanklyComment

Re: player form
All of this is true. But keep in mind it is not an absolute rule. I have played hundreds of games with players with blue arrows and sometimes even grey/white, and they have performed better than players with green/yellow arrows.
It depends a lot on the player stats of course, but also in paying smart with these players who are "not in form"...that is if you choose to play with them.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment
