Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)
Don't think so. At least, I haven't seen anything yet.
Are there region restrictions with the 360 files? I'm ignorant on that front. The reason I ask is because I think someone in the UK is working on a 360 file with MLS included. I had some interaction with him a few weeks ago about MLS stuff, but haven't seen/heard anything since.Comment

Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)
Questions... Im considering buying this game and i definitely will be getting this MLS OF if i do. When your playing a career with an MLS team, can you also play in the Gold Cup during that MLS season? What about in 2012, would i play be able to play in WC qualifying games during the MLS season? Ive never played a PES game other than the demo so im just wondering. Thanks.Go Bearcats!Comment

You're referring to stuff that would be in the 'Be A Legend' (BAL) mode, presumably. Honestly, I don't really play BAL, so others would have to provide the details in this case, specifically about how it's orientated.
The Gold Cup is not in the game, though. There's an 'American Cup', but that throws together (unrealistically) both CONCACAF (North, Central, & Carribbean) and CONMEBOL (South America) nations into the tournament. Again, though, I'm not sure how BAL comes into play here.
Unless others chime in here, I'd ask specific questions about the BAL mode (basically, an individual, build-your-career mode) in some of the BAL-centric threads in the forum.
The other mode that might be of interest is the Master League (ML). That's basically a dynasty mode. The ML has default integration with the UEFA Champions League & Europa League, so if you were to play with MLS, it's not entirely realistic. But some people still find it fun and interesting to do so.Comment

Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)
Another update to the file has been posted (version 1.3). See here for download links:
Details on this version:
- 2011 Copa América: rosters for all CONMEBOL NTs updated for the tournament -- 100%. Kits updated 90% (missing a few of the new PNGs). Lineups & formations adjusted using some research and educated guesses. Changed a number of appearances, boots, & accessories, too.
- Overhauled classic NTs: added kits (ENG '66, FRA '98, GER '90, ITA '94, NLD '98, ARG '86, BRA '94) & adjusted a variety of appearances.
- MLS & NASL clubs updated, with ongoing alterations to formations, lineups, player stats, boots, & accessories. Updated a couple of MLS GK kits, as well.
Further notes:
- As mentioned, CONMEBOL NTs got full roster updates for Copa América, but the two guest invites (Mexico & Costa Rica) were left as is. I did not feel like adding mostly U-23 players to the file.
- FYI: you can emulate a reasonably accurate Copa América via the Cup option in 'Community' mode.
- If I run across adequate PNGs for the few missing CONMEBOL kits, I might release a mini-update in coming days with the kit adjustments. Otherwise, the next update will come around the opening of the MLS transfer window on July 15.
- If you're using fcpappin's stadium pack, you'll have to go into 'Edit' mode and re-link the appropriate 'Home Grounds' after you've loaded the update.
Beyond that: enjoy, as usual.Comment

Ahh, I missed this post. Thanks! And good call on not fiddling with the Mexican (and CR) squad. One thing I was gonna suggest is, seeing as your option file is mainly aimed at North American footy fans .. Why not delete the emblems of some of the euro teams and use them for the NASL clubs?Comment

If you want to add the badges on your own, here's a pack with the 8 NASL emblems:

Just load the PNGs to your PS3 under the Image menu. Then within the game, go to Edit mode --> Teams --> Emblem and import the relevant emblem into the file from the PS3 harddrive.Comment

Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)
Hey Connoll, I think someone has hacked the pesgaming/fileshare site. I just tried to download update 1.3, and it popped to a copy of a "my computer"" screen, pretending to scan, finding all these viruses, and asking me if I wanted to remove them. I, of course, just closed out, ran my own virus scan, and suprize, suprize, found it to be clean.
Damn, I hate hackers. I just want to drive to their basement and punch them in the nose.Comment

So...I dunno what's up. I'll treat this as a localized problem, for now.Comment

Well, I'm not sure what else to say. I'll keep an eye out for any weirdness with the files -- or if others report anything similar. But you're the only one I've heard of thus far with this sort of problem. I downloaded both of the files myself again and didn't run into anything fishy. There have been a number of d/ls by others since you mentioned the problem, too.

Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)
Yet another update to the file has been posted (version 1.4). See here for download links:
Details on this version:
- MLS & NASL rosters updated to correspond with the opening of the transfer window (on July 15), with ongoing alterations to formations, lineups, player stats, boots, & accessories. Updated a few MLS kits, too.
- Finished updating CONMEBOL kits for Copa América 2011 (squads & kits now 100%). Thanks to ¢Ħλ®₤ỉξ-[14] for his help.
- Added 2011 MLS All-Star team (due to editing constraints, the team is in a NASL league slot).
Again, if you're using fcpappin's stadium pack, you'll have to go into 'Edit' mode and re-link the appropriate 'Home Grounds' after you've loaded the update.
Enjoy.Comment
