Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)

    Sorry about the dlc situation...sucks.

As for the US 3rd, we haven't added it, primarily because it's, well, the 3rd kit. In general, we haven't paid too much attention to NT jerseys recently...a couple could be updated.

(If you want to add the US 3rd on your own, there's a PNG here.)

Thanks Connell. Now the really stupid question. After downloading the picture, do I just replace it with the one I want to replace it with, or how does this work? Do I need to open it with winrar? Sorry for all the questions, but this is new territory for me. Thanks in advance.

No prob. Basically, you want to load the image on to the PS3 harddrive first and then go in and load it internally within the game. Try these instructions:

        1. D/L the kit image (PNG); then move the image from your PC to a USB stick
        2. Insert USB stick into PS3
        3. On the menu of your PS3 (before you start up PES) scroll to PHOTO and then scroll up to your USB. Press Triangle on it and go to 'Display all'. Find your kit image and press triangle on it and go to COPY.
        4. Load up PES
        5. Go to edit mode then "Edit team"
        6. Choose "uniform" then "markings", then click on "chest logo". Click on "import data" ,click "next" then choose the image on your PS3 harddrive that you copied from USB.
        7. Position it how you want then save it (either leave as is or 1 or 2 clicks up, usually).
        8. You'll be asked to save the PNG over an already existing kit. On our OF, it probably makes sense to replace the existing 2nd USA kit, which I think is kit #149.

After that, you should be good. You'll have to go into the 'uniform edit' and change the color combos on the kit, obviously. And if you d/l and use any of our future updates, you're going to have to go in and redo those color changes each time.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you run into any problems.

Hey man. Now that psn's back up, I was able to get the dlc and get your option file loaded. Excellent work, btw. I also got the US red jersey fixed. Thanks again for the instructions. The hardest part was matching the red on the png, but I think I've got it. Doing that makes me appreciate the work you guys put into the option file, and all I can say is THANKS.

'welcome. Glad you got things worked out.

The red color on the PNG you're using (the one I linked above, presumably) is 22/2/2. If you look back on the link I posted, the guy who created the PNG (charlie) listed the color above the image. A good number of PNG creators do this, so as not to make it as much of a mystery. Just an FYI...

That's awesome. I didn't know about the color above the image, but that's exactly the color I made it. Cool, huh.

Hey there...sorry, haven't been on for quite some time and haven't played the game in awhile. But there is a "Data Update" available. Do I need to download that BEFORE I use your latest MLS OF ?

                    Thanks.

I believe that is the case with his latest update

Yeah, you need to be updated to the latest DLC to use the recent versions of the file (1.0 or 1.1): Data Pack 7.00.

D/l the DLC before you try loading the file. The option file will not load unless you're on the compatible DLC.

FYI...I've decided to add the 8 NASL teams to the other blank league. That probably will be done for the next update.

I don't have direct familiarity with many of the NASL teams, players, etc., so the update will be heavily reliant on FM conversions. So this is an open call: if you've got any specialized knowledge of NASL and want to share it, I'm all ears...

Looking forward to this. Any thought of adding a USL Pro club or two?

                              LOL. Sooooooo demanding.

Short answer: not initially. I'm going to get through the NASL sides, post an update, and then take a little break. Then after a little respite maybe revisit the issue of USL-Pro. If I can muster energy, I'll go forward. If not...then not. It's a typical wait-and-see. My inclination at this point would probably be that I won't move on past NASL. It just takes a lot of energy to create teams & players from scratch, especially when there's not a lot of good info sitting around. Frankly, one of the reasons why I decided to create the NASL in the first place is that 8 teams is easier to handle than, say, 18.

Another thing: fcpappin over at PESGaming, who's been helping me with some NASL stuff, allegedly is in the process of creating his own file with NASL & USL-Pro teams. Presumably he'll post that at some point, if you're interested.

I hear ya on that. Totally time consuming. I'll try adding a team after your update, though it will take me like a week. Ha ha. What do you use to convert FM stats to pes?

I'll check out fcpappin's stuff too if he completes it.
