Hey Tomba, I think it was you that said you were playing in regular? I had tried it out in ML in regular and bumped up the pressing again. I still believe the game plays differently (difficulty) when its ML vs Exhibition. I actually had a very good game in this difficulty.
I need to get a bit better to bump it up, Sometimes I can't get my defense to get the ball back, even if I have 3 guys on top of the AI.
Ill keep trying in Regular for a few games and later bump it up again. Still trying to figure out how to protect the AI through pass....

Make sure you have auto clearance ON and slide tackle set to HARD. It makes all the difference. You'll notice an immediate improvement in your AI players defensive urgency.

Absolutely! I have it this way too. Probably out of habit of forcing to play FIFA 12 because you have to control all 11 players it seemed like. PES' through ball is a killer - but with all these settings, it's really not that easy at all. Good suggestions!

I haven't made any adjustments, but there has to be a way to make the CPU less direct.

I'm going to start messing with some settings to see if I can get them to build up a little more.

The settings I have inputted make them a lot less direct. The key is the ATTACK value, unfortunately for consoles that is the one thing they have to manually change for each player.

Game difficulty swings between regular and professional for me.

Ive been in contact with Matt10 and have him testing out some new stuff i found out hopefully it works for him as its working for me once i can solidify things ill let everyone know through a blog

Definitely try it. I know when I changed DEFENSIVE STYLE to 1, it was like the defenders were scared of the ball. So it seems that is pretty effective. Let me know what you find out.

Tomba, i replied to your PM - think you should share what you've found though, because this is for the betterment of the game. I never want to be the only one testing. Bout to test your suggestions right now.

Score Everton-0 Arsenal-4

Shots 7(3) 16(10)

Fouls 5 1

Possession 53 -47

Passes completed - 79%. 77%

Overal I liked the way the game felt even though I got thrashed. Should I be editing all 4 tactics for each team to this setting though or just the first one ?

PC right? Or console?

If console, yes you have to edit all the tactics per team.

Played another game with bigger clubs and must say my fears about this game are not going away. Played Man u vs city and once again the computer scored right away at ease to put me in a 1-0 hole. After controlling much of the game after that , city hits me on a counter attack as Aguerro puts it home on a through ball 2-0 city. I got one back off a beautiful Nani strike. I was feeling good going into halftime and then boom the scripting took place as I was not able to tackle Tevez no matter what. It's like he was a ghost just going right through my players and scored 2 quick goals. Add a nasiri free kick and I was down 5-1. Just 10 minutes into the second half. I want to like the game but the combo of the lack of calls on evident fouls and the CPU scoring at will is killing it for me

Try playing professional, man. If you play top player, utilize your auto tackle to hard as I mention in the most recent video. Remember, that I also have attack values for every player @ 1. That makes a huge difference.

Good video Matt. Changing the option of Auto-tackle and tackling to Hard really, really helped. This should be on default, no wonder my AI players won't do **** before. Thanks for the heads up!

What options did you change with Jenkey Tool? Also, have you played only exhibition? Or have you gone into ML?

(Again, sorry to ask this question again, how are you crossing and heading the ball? I havent hit a header in 1 week I think)
