Chelsea has been added to the spreadsheet, and I've also started to map out generic tactics.

I'm having a hard time getting a Liverpool tactic to work. The Gegenpress works best if you have three forwards set to attacking roles while out of possession, but the issue is they then will not track back to continue to press.

They also just won't press sometimes and absorb pressure—I think what I got earlier will have to be as good as it gets. Press once the ball is lost, but if the opposition advances with possession they retreat a bit and defend.

But I have a big question—if you have two controllers, can you set your opponents gameplan in ML?

This question is so crucial you should start a thread on it to get the info ASAP....

Doesn't look like this works. Tried a couple different things with a second controller and it would only let me go to whichever controller 1s team was. So co-op. Unless I'm missing something there was no way to change tactics for opponent with 2nd controller. Looks like that will all have to be done in editing.

That's definitely a bummer, as it means I'll have to actually put in all the tactics I want before I start a ML...but I'm crazy enough to do it.

OR, people start including custom tactics that work well into option files, but first I'm just going to focus on getting some more working.

If we don't want to lose our team formations and edited stats we will have to export the data in case you download another persons OF.

Just nerding out as much as I can! My wife already pointed out I'm having too much fun not actually "playing" the game, ha.

Should be able to finish out the Premier League in the next few days for sure.

Great stuff!!

Quick question, what are your thoughts on the 5-second change? Obviously you have fluid formation on where the team shifts depending on whether they are on the ball or not.

So far I've found that as long as player positions aren't too drastically different when in possession and when out of possessions, the end-to-end play can be negated. It also reduces the need for the CPU to get back into their correct positions when transitioning from attack to defense. However, if the players need to travel too far the CPU will and should take advantage of that open space by attacking much more quickly. Are you seeing that as well?

Also the auto-switching tactics feature is turned on for the CPU, will they use their defensive tactics when necessary or mainly just adjust their attacking/defensive attitude instead?
