Having past 9 weeks in La Liga, VALENCIA CF is sitting at 3rd place behind usual suspects- Real and Barca.

The team is getting together, team spirit is getting higher every game.

I have agreed to sign Lacazaette in winter transfer window which will be a HUGE, HUGE addition to our team. Right now I'm playing L.Adriano as lone striker and Zaza as his back-up. I don't have enough money to spend more but I'd certainly upgrade the midfield and buy 1 more central defender to play with Garay and Mangala on defense.

The high point of the season was the win over Barcelona at Week 8 at home, 2-0.

Barcelona was undefeated, having won 7 of their 7 came to Mestalla and tasted the defeat.

Got through the 1st round in Copa Del Rey and won 3 out of 3 in Europa League.

Everything is going well result-wise, however I'm still not content on the quality of the team as we can not dominate the matches as I'd like to. We need more dynamic midfielders and faster players on the wings. (I'd probably sell Nani in the off-season)

I don't know if I can play this game anymore...

Got promoted to the Prem...have a nice squad...high 70s to mid 80s mostly...and those that aren't excellent have skill sets that fit their position.

I increased the difficulty...which seems to have brought the following changes:

1) all of my players do everything way more slowly...almost like lag.

2) The cpu gives me the CONCACAF treatment in terms of awful no-calls on fouls in and out of the box. My striker got bowled over in the most remarkable way, from behind, by two defenders, while trying to shoot from 8 yards away...no call

3) My defenders are nowhere to be found on through balls and crosses, regardless of marking settings.



I love PES2017...but this is not enjoyable.

I love PES2017...but this is not enjoyable.

YES. All of those happen at the highest level of difficulty mate. It's like a cheat so I believe there's NO REASON at all to play it at the highest difficulty. Pointless. But you are right at 4/5 difficulty level at some point the game becomes too easy and you want to switch it on to hardest difficulty level for more challenge. But then the problems that you describe happen. The game suddenly turns into something else other than football simulation.

Say i take watford in master league. ..am i going to coach watford only the entire master league or will there be job offers so i fan switch teams as head coach ?

There will be a lot of job offers, it will be up to you to stay with your team or move to another team. Also you'll get national team coaching job offers too and you can both coach a club and a national team in Master League ! You can play World Cups and Euro / S.American / African cups

Qualified for Champions League Group Stage with Preston!.....

....Barcelona and Juve in the same group

I'll have to try and squeeze out four points from them with 0-0 draws and then beat Besiktas in both games to try to finish with 10 pts and make it.

Cubas is sneaky good. He's like a an Argentinian Kante. The only negative is he's small so he can't win those headers when he's matched up with a FWD.

I'm a little late to the party with PES 2017, but I picked up the Steam version for $20 a little over a week ago and then downloaded the Smoke patch. Best football game I've played in years. No tools necessary. There are YouTube videos on how to implement the patch. Download 9.4 and then the update, 9.4.2. Enjoy!

I'm using the PTE patch myself over smoke, but still had qs regarding the dplfilegenerator and why it isn't working with adding some face mods. Ive watched a lot of videos and tutorials, all my files are in the right sorted order, but the brahim Diaz is still his default

Haven't tried that one. The only issue I'm having is trying to use Bayern Munich in gameplay. I think the id codes are messed up because when I view the teams in edit mode everything is in order. Also noticed that version 9.4.3 dropped yesterday. Most of the 2017-18 kits and summer transfers through 7/25 are in the latest update.

A couple underrated regens imo:

Pascal Wernbloom (Swedish CM) and B. Cesar (Slovenian CB). Both at a 77 during the summer after finishing season 3 at the age of 18 and good in the right stats (Wernbloom is better defensively than offensively).

If i download and test out the Smoke version will it ruin my already existing Master League I'm running that started on the PTE patch?

Edit - Switched to Smoke, but still can't get faces for Hoden and Diaz of Manchester City to work. Others work fine, but not them. I'm so frustrated

Edit 2 - This pops up when I try to edit him. "because this player was added by live update, edit data excluding face cannot be reset". Can this be a reason why the face isn't working?

Edit 3 - FINALLY got it working!! Had to decrypt the Edit file, and open it with a program and had to uncheck the 'edit' box under the 2 guys, encrypt it and throw it back in.

I'm on a long 7 match no win streak. Nothing I'm doing is working. I'm 0-6-1. I'm still stagnant in 3rd but Arsenal is really starting to pull away and is now 10 points ahead of me with 36 (I have 26). Everton has overtaken me for second and has 30 points.

Just can't seem to finish. I'm using Manchester City. There are now 3 teams who are 1 point behind me now (Leicester City, Stoke City, and Newcastle United).

I've had opportunities, but can't finish right now.

Next up is a match vs Liverpool and Otamendi got hurt last game is out for the next 2 weeks. Great, I don't see my streak snapping this game either.
