Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Sergey Krivets was "judged to have dived" in the box on a play where he was injured and had to have the physio come on and then leave the game. He then received a yellow for simulation. What the ****? He hurt himself diving? Tsk, tsk referee.YNWA

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Anyways my stats are
11 not 12 PL titles(all in a row)
5 Champions League Titles
2 Carling Cups
0 FA Cups(I couldn't believe it).
And my International career is 1 World Cup title with England, and fired from Brazil and USA with nothing to show for.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I think this is the most dominant league game I've ever had. They're probably going down, but still. Damn.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
And old save of mine. What the **** was going on with that team? I remember Cardozo scoring 60 in the league
By the way, it's FM 2008
And another one
Holy crap! Seriously, I remember the tactic I used, and it doesn't work now...Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So I'm managing England, and after a trip to the semifinals in both the World Cup and the Euros, I get fired. Luckily Spain, the #1 team in the world, offered a job the week I got fired.
So I actually traded up.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
In my final season at Lech Poznan, I won the treble (Super Cup, League, and FA Cup). I also won Manager of the Year for the second year running. Sergey Krivets won POY for the third year running. I accepted an offer to coach Internacional in Brazil. They still have Marquinhos and Sandro, and have somehow brought in Fredy Montero from Seattle. I'm looking to bring Krivets and Eliandro with me from Lech, but I don't know if I will be able to (I do have a $36,000,000 transfer budget).YNWA

EDIT:
Thiago Neves just scored a 30+ yarder on his debut. Haha. Pablo Aimar isn't coming for another month, but I can only imagine a midfield with Aimar, Sandro, and Neves. Yessssssss.Last edited by Tomasperez9; 06-16-2010, 05:26 PM.YNWA

Alexandr Bucharov from Rubin Kazan is the truth. He's got 22 goals in 24 league matches. I took the job after getting eliminated in the WC managing the States.
I am unbeaten in 14 games since I've taken over."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

This game is the ****ttttt. I love it. I come home like 5 minutes ago and open it up. Puyfect game for a Saturday night post game. I don't know how SI can improve on it haha. Internacional is a ridiculous club to play a save with. Marquinhos? Sandro? Please, Aimar and Neves are only icing on the cake. This team is absurd.YNWA

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well, after a bit of a hiatus, I've decided to start up a save in Scotland, hopefully rising to the top and defeating the SPL giants before moving on to bigger and better things.
Started at Brechin City F.C., currently in the Second Division (Third Tier) of the Scottish football system.
Pre-season friendlies didn't go so well, with us being outclassed by far superior competition for the most part (A few championship sides, they were scheduled when I got there). We also lost a late lead to an inferior (Division 3) team. I'm beginning to fear the worst, especially since the board wants promotion.
The domestic cups didn't take too kindly to us, and we are ejected fairly early in 2 out of 3. The Scottish Cup has yet to schedule us for a match.
League play starts off as disappointing as friendlies and cups do. I'm expecting more out of a promotion contending squad. So, after two draws and a home loss to an inferior team, I decided to shake things up a bit. Brought in a few young guys that can compete on this level, and hopefully on the next as well (Really not sure how big the talent gap is), and a striker on loan fro Hearts' U19 squad.
Next thing you know we're 10 games into the 36 game season, and tied for second place (3rd on goals scored). 1st is within a point.
It's been a while since I've had that majestic feeling of not being able to tear yourself away from the game, I think it's returned.Comment
