At least I was able to get a job to get out of that league, and ended up skipping the Blue Square entirely.

I started a new save with Everton, 2009-2010 season, so far so good, 2nd in Barclay's after 6 matches, and made it to 4th round of carling.

Two superb comebacks in the WCQs have moved the boys in blue to first in the world rankings and have brought them to 15 matches unbeaten. Also, the Brazil manager was fired for the 6th time in 6 years (the last victim? Lucio) .

Took over South Africa starting in January 2010. The team didn't do well in the African Cup of Nations but did make it to the knockout stages (I was not the manager then).
          Untitled-1.png

First game was against Egypt which we dominated early on and held out to the favored squad. Then we again dominated a Cameroon squad that was once again favored. Finally we took down Ivory Coast in penalties to win the Cup of Nations!
          Untitled-4.png

In between CoN and the WC we played a friendly against the US in Pasadena.
          Untitled-5.png

The World Cup was wild, Bosnia beat Italy to take their group, Netherlands lost by 2 points to Slovakia and Mexico, France lost by 3 points to South Korea, Portugal/Ghana/Brazil/US death group led to the US getting 1 point and losing to Portugal 6-0 to give them the GD to get in over Brazil. First game we beat Bosnia 1-0 to advance to the quarters where we lost to Mexico 3-0

Can't wait to get qualifiers underway now, also took up a job at Deportivo Cali in Colombia's top division, things aren't looking to good but the season is over and we can look to rebuild now.

What is it with FM and international tournaments. First Bulgaria vs. Scotland in the World Cup Final, and now Belgium makes the Euro final. At least this time I didn't lose to the weak opponent.

Anyone score higher than 11? In a league/cup match that's not a friendly? The game didn't even have a pun for eleven goals like they do with smaller numbers, so the game simply said I "strolled to success." I had previously scored ten goals against Dartford, but this was a cup game against a squad one league down, so I was shocked.

Mine was in a friendly but I put 12 past Barnet. Eduardo and Bendtner both had 4 each.

Unrealistic. Eduardo wouldn't even score one, and Bendtner would miss 12 clear-cut chances and maybe, if he's lucky, manage to net one.
