This is a first for me. Knew it could happen, but had never experienced it before.

So here we are, halfway through our first season in the fourth division. Form has dipped a bit since my last update, but we're still sitting on top, but the gap has closed. We have a game in hand due to the waterlogged pitch, though. But I'm please at where we sit, to be honest I would be disappointed if we weren't top.

Moro has jumped atop the scorers' table, although Dieguito doesn't find himself among the top scorers or setup men, he's still playing at the top of his game.

Also pleased to find ourselves among the leaders in attendance, although we're still not selling out. But that's alright, because even Ancona cannot fill their stands. Hopefully a promotion or two more will allow us to build our own stadium with a larger capacity than our current 7,500.

Pretty much ends his season... At least he managed to score during the collision.

Safe to say that this is probably the best start to a season I've had yet. This Almeria team is too ****ing good.

Brought in a pair of players in the January transfer window, both were available on frees.

Redan is simply a replacement for Moro, who's out for almost the rest of the campaign. He's only in through the end of the season, due to his age. Jansen joins on loan until the end of the season from parent club Modena, purely to bolster the numbers in the center of midfield. Had a couple injuries stack up, and I thought it would be wise to bring someone else in.

After a short stint using Sunderland, decided to do a new save with Swansea City with updated roster since I deleted my old Swansea save on accident. Should be fun/hard.

Pretty awesome article on grantland about a guy and his Football Manager game. He was pretty much doing what Bruins is currently trying to do.

His Pro Vercelli story is what inspired me to try this with Venezia. I remember reading it as he was posting, and it always stuck. Never gave it a shot until recently, as I didn't want to tackle dealing with co-ownership. Turns out, it hasn't been an issue yet and I'm having a blast.

You got a link to that? I would be interesting to read what he wrote.

Are you even going to get to play a match? Next thing you know there will a gigantic hurricane that will cancel the season.

Ha, it's crazy. Obviously has to do a lot with standard of the pitches down here, but I've never had this many matches postponed before. Can't wait until we can build our own stadium in a hopefully a few years.

That's a pretty cool story. Reminds me of the Castel di Sangro book.

I haven't really gotten into a real low-league save this year.
