Well, with 6 matches left we're 4 points clear of Everton at the top of the league and 9 points clear of Derby in 3rd. We've clinched a spot in the playoffs. We can't blow this, right? RIGHT?!

Gonna get back into this now. Starting with Monaco. (Hold it. I picked a Sunday League Rep and didn't put France as a 2nd nationality)

Final 10 matches were brutal as **** to sit through.

Forest were 2nd in the table, still fighting it out for that automatic promotion.

Bristol had to go to Loftus Road, and Coventry were hosting Pompey.

I started playing FM 2012 again and holy **** is this game overwhelming. I'm playing with Liverpool so I don't have too big of a challenge, but I struggle with even choosing my starting 11. I'm like two years into my soccer fandom so I'm still learning a lot. I love the game but I feel like I'm blindly doing things. Any suggestions to get me on my feet?

Holy ****, Forest can **** off.

For the first leg, Zaha was off on International Duty, so I'm left with only James Vaughan and Will Keane as striking options.

1st minute, Forest defender destroys Vaughan's leg. Red Card. 20 minutes later they break the ribs of my best defender. And right before the half they knock off my best MF. All 3 subs used before the half. And not only that, those ****ers scored an away goal.

2nd half, they injure another one of MFers, and then proceed to score another away goal. 3-2 final.

              ****.

After two more wins, we're going up with 4 matches to spare. 7 points ahead of Everton and 12 ahead of Derby, who I have beat in GD by 22.

I love you Wilfried Zaha. Scores 67 seconds in. And then after I thought Forest were going to get away with FM BS after scoring in the 78th and 79th minute to lead on Away goals, Zaha answers with a brilliant goal in the 82nd to send us to Wembley to face Sheffield United.

As mentioned on Twitter, that was a lot of angst over nothing. No away goals rule. But it probably made you push for that winner, so it worked out, eh?

And it's official. EPL clubs scramble to assess their security as Millwall supporters plan their assault. West Ham is fighting against relegation again. I hope they stay up again.

It did. Oh and we beat Sheffield 3-0. To the Premier league we go. Probably will have to deal with no money there too. I'll be back down

Started a new save with Port Vale, drew Tranmere in the first round of the COC. Lost 4-1, I just... sighed heavily. The board are said to be considering my position after one game.

                          Holy crap I have money.

I'm raiding Southampton, The Ox, and Schneiderlin for under 2M combined.

Honestly, I think that's the way to do it. Just blindly do things until you get a feel for the game. I've been messing with formations, tactics, all sorts of crap seeing what works and what doesn't and now I've got a pretty good feel for it.

You just kind of have to take your lumps early.

Yep. Early on I made some hilarious mistakes like losing a star player on a free transfer because I didn't know how contracts worked. You file a lot of things under "don't EVER do that again".

I'm so afraid to make mistakes I'm not allowing myself to actually do anything. I bought this random Brazilian center back just because other people were bidding on him. Will he fit into my "system"? WHO THE **** KNOWS!
