1st year: Finished 5th with 53 points, scored the most goals with 63 and was worst in goals allowed with 55.
2nd year: Finished 4th with 52 points, scored the most goals with 64, and was 2nd worst in goals allowed with 50.

    Improvement I guess.

So i finally get to do something very minor that i've wanted to do for awhile, the in-game editor for fm 16 allows you to change kits, so I can finally customise the kits for my team and not have to wear the same ones year in and year out. it's not a huge deal, but it was one of those little annoyances.

On that note, we're never wearing this uniform design again:

At the pace you were on with Paris FC, you were going to reach the year Futurama is set. Which means you'll probably have won Serie A 10 consecutive times by tomorrow.

Got a new, lightning quick laptop and decided to pick up FM16 to break it in. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so hello FM marathon...good bye, society.

I've spent the last two days at work trying to figure out who I want to start with. Leaning towards Celtic or Valencia to start, both look pretty interesting. If nothing else, I'll go back to the challenge of starting unemployed, which is always a blast. Can't wait until Monday!

You could always join the club and start in the French lower leagues. That is, if you can stand all the missed shots, inaccurate passes, and draws.

Add Liverpool to the list of teams my mighty (and mostly fit) Arsenal side have demolished. Note that Allen was sent off after we were up 3-0. Alexis, Walcott, and Ozil ran roughshod over them

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Well, season #1 of my Real Madrid save is in the books. It was a successful season with a comfortable win in La Liga and a Copa Del Rey title.

However, on a sour note, FC Barcelona got hot late in the season after a really bad start (they were mid-table for a lot of the season before recovering to 2nd by season's end) and bounced me out of the Champions League semifinal. The first leg was the away leg and Raphaël Varane got himself red-carded 20 minutes in. I lost the game 2-0. The home leg was better, but we still only managed a 2-2 draw and we got sent home packing in the semifinals.

Still, the board expectations was for us to make the semifinal, which we did, and the board was very pleased with the way the year went overall, so I got a five-year extension.

The board provided over $200 million in transfer budget for this offseason, so I decided to upgrade at goalkeeper and snagged David De Gea from Manchester United for over $100 million. We should be set at goalkeeper for the next decade, and that's a position it seemed we were a bit weak in this past year. Our defense in general wasn't great, though our fast-paced attacking stance probably made it seem a bit worse than it really was.

As you can see in the league table below, we scored more than twice as many goals as anyone else in the league. It was pretty wild at times. Ronaldo in particular was amazing with 35 goals and 14 assists in 37 appearances (I sat him out one game). Add in 9 goals in 12 appearances in Champions League and 10 goals in 9 appearances in Copa Del Rey and it was a phenomenal year for him.

I have provided a few screenshots below, including the league table, the schedule/results, and Ronaldo's stats.

I can NOT beat Chelsea. Good Lord, it's frustrating.

Started the season away at Stamford Bridge. With Eriksen, Lamela, and Dier out.

Got smoked 5-0. Great way to start the new campaign....

If you want to just pull your hair out while watching the match, lower French leagues are the perfect place!

My team is amazing at blowing 2-0 leads.

You want to see some truly bizarre stuff, load a mod that goes down to tier 10 in England. Hilarity ensues.

                            The game engine goes crazy?

I think I saw a mod that goes down to tier 24 in England or something, LOL. I guess that's the tier where a bunch of out of shape middle-aged drunks from the pub go play some football on a Sunday afternoon.

It doesn't go haywire or anything. They actually play a game. It's just...not exactly filled with ideal decisions.
