I've thought about doing a national team save, what does that all entail? Like those long breaks between friendlies, what do you find yourself doing? Mainly scouting local players to try and find a diamond in the rough?University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Or go on Vacation until its time for the next selection.
Started a career save with FMScout's update and managed to get the job at Oxford in March with a chance to close out and win League 2.

Managed to win promotion to the Bundesliga with FSV Frankfurt. After all the loans and deadwood contracts expired I found out I only have 12 total players that are above 15 yrs old. Going to be a fun time building with $1.2M in the transfer budget and a super small wage budget.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I've spent more time tonight thinking about whether or not I should sell a star in the making youth player, than I did all day at work today. About anything. Also I really hate this game. But I also love this game. But **** this game.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Won the Vanarama North and National, 3rd in League 2, 2nd in League 1 and 5th in the Championship and won the playoff. Every year I'd sell literally 90% of the team, like 22 of 25 players I used that season. Also, I always loaned 5 players who were by far the best 5 players every year. In League 1 I managed to get Chelsea as the parent club which was huge, previously had Portsmouth.
I just spent over 100M to create a solid mid table team in the second season in the Prem, should be fun.Khalabeeb - Tony Henderson

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Strasbourg Year 4 update:
I just lost in the Coupe de France final 1-0 to Rennes, so no Europa for me. But the whole affair was bull$#!%, as my wonderkid striker Max Romero missed the match. Why? Because he was at training camp for the U-20 World Cup. Yes, that's right, SI still haven't fixed that bug.
In much better news, I beat the 2000-1 odds and didn't get relegated! Strasbourg finished 15, and the board rewarded me by increasing my wage budget by 1mil to 9mil p/a. Still paltry, but it's a step in the right direction.Attached FilesComment
