Things are going well in Chicago so far. In my last game, Columbus scored to take a 1-0 lead in the 83rd, and McBride scored twice to win the game.

Nice, I got a Sounders save going, just in friendlies now: picked up two players: Jimmy Conrad(for defensive depth) and Jackson Martinez (Striker from Colombia to team up with Montero). Will see how it goes.

Standings update as we near the midpoint of the season.

          Still unbeaten.

Nyarko has cooled off, but I still use him effectively when we are playing a slow defense. McBride has caught fire (no pun intended ).

Look to the top right of your keyboard, you should see a button that says "print screen" or something along those lines. Press it, and go into an image editing program, paint works. Then just hit paste and the image should be there.

What facepacks are you guys using? I was using the E-style facepack last year, but wanted something different for this one.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

So, we've been playing far above expectations this year, board is quite pleased, etc. But I'm starting to fear a turn south. We've lost our last 2 MLS games, and our team is being run ragged by the US Cup and the Superliga.

We've Qualified for the semi-final of the Superliga (drew Indios) with a wins over Pueblo and New England, and a draw with Monterray. In the semi-final of the US cup against Real Salt Lake. Dropped one point out of place in the East behind New England, who have two games in hand.

EDIT: McBride has also announced he will retire at the end of the season. Hopefully he will reconsider, but I am not holding my breath. This striker I'm bring in from Russia had better be able to hold his own...

                    The very definition of resiliency.

Will be taking on Chivas USA in the final.

                      The season has ended.

We went to the US cup finals, and received a 3-0 drumming at the hands of Columbus. The regular season went great, we won the Supporters Shield (best overall record), and went to the finals of the MLS Cup. San Jose were our opponents, we lost 1-0 on a heartbreaking '90+3 goal. McBride, Rolfe, Blanco are all leaving.

I had a issue with laptop, had to reinstalled . Here we go, sounders FC again.

Congrats on Great first season, see what offers you get from overseas. In 2009 FM when I took Chicago to 2011 MLS CUP victory I got offers from Europe.

I'm not currently interested in Europe, I just inked a 3 year deal to stay in Chicago. I believe we're in the NACL this year, although I'm not sure about that.

On the look out for a national job, just got turned down in Ireland.

I don't really know how I'm supposed to replace McBride, Blanco, and Rolfe with a $0 transfer budget either.

EDIT: I have signed on with Ghana as my national team. They are currently ranked 26th in the world.

I signed on with Ghana as well in my game. Just ended the WC and got to the Quarters and lost to Russie 2-1.

Started up with my Revs. Brought in 31 y/o left back/midfielder Alexander Viveros as well as 31 y/o striker Henri Camara, both on frees. Also picked up Steven Lenhart from Columbus in the waiver draft, and waived Stephane Assengue.
