Should be getting news about FM19 soon. Probably next week. They said a while back that at the end of September we would be getting all the new feature updates. I haven't played FM in about three weeks now. Nothing like news of the next game to bring me right back in.

Excuse me, what skin are you using and what size font?

It's the Milla skin from the official forums. Font size is default I think, running at 2560 x 1600.

Just saw that Ulreich has a 4.6 rating as a goalkeeper. What did he do? Not come back from the dressing room at half time? Punched all the goals in by himself?

We're in for a fun one, boys. Bayern and us close the season with four out of five games against the same opponents. I need them to drop points somewhere, as I doubt I can catch up on goal differential.

Ended up matching results with Bayern: four wins and a loss. Title just wasn't meant to be our this season, but still thrilled to get Leverkusen back in the Champions League.

New Features coming out (I'll link to SI Blogs with a small overview, a single picture in spoilers):

New Look - Get the boring out of the way first. New skin to match Touch and Classic stuff, just a new look. Nothing special announced here yet.

Training Overhaul - Training gets upgraded again! Too much to type here, but your offense practices against your defensive groups and you have a much higher control over schedules and type of training.

VAR and Match Improvements - VAR (both screen and earpiece versions) making their way to the game in the competitions that actually use them. Also will be noted in pressers and stuff. 500+ changed/replaced animations. Higher variety of small-type stadiums.

New Manager Inductions (AKA: Tutorials) - Not much to see here for most of us probably? I'll try it but it'll probably get turned off quick for most of us that have played previous FMs.

Bundesliga License - Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fully licensed. 4 year deal. Fully translated into German on release.

Tactics Revamp - A nice looking overhaul that hopefully both it and the match engine live up to the screenshots. Styles (tiki-taka, gegenpressing, Catenaccio) built in (you can still tweak from here, it just gives a good base.) Specific team instructions for 3 phases of play (Possession, transition between attack/defense and when opposing team has possession.) Lots of new instructions. Lots of new toys to play around with.

If you read one of those, I highly suggest it be the tactics one. Too much there for me to try to sum up other than "If it works out, it will be fantastic."

I was planning to skip 19 but the revamped tactics looks quite intriguing.
