While the team itself is talented, SI has never quite nailed down programming the internal dysfunction that can sometimes happen at clubs. Team chemistry could potentially be tuned so that contrasting personalities have more of an effect, but I don't think many players would find that fun.

Edit: to be clear, I understand it's a joke, but it is one of my long minor requests to add dysfunction to team chemistry, there's just not enough of it.

Looking forward to a new FM. Only my third version, I'm far from an expert. What's the difference between the Beta and the Nov 9 release? Should I wait before starting my longterm save? What're the benefits? I'm itching to get started but don't really want to have to start over.

Absolutely agree. For as deep as this game is, it can always be even deeper!

Glad you understand it was a joke lol. I’m actually pretty happy to see a surprise like that in my first season. They’re active as hell in the transfer market right now trying to defend their title. I love it.

A couple posts up will have more details, but the number one reason is that they fix a lot of database errors for the full release, and the beta release database generally isn't all that current. If you're doing a journeyman, it won't affect you all that much, but if you're looking at starting with a top flight or second division team, it might be worth waiting to make sure you have the most up-to-date databases.

Also - there are often rule fixes for competitions like one year during the beta, the Danish Superliga did not pay out television money, which caused every team to go bankrupt. This was fixed after release, but just an example of the type of thing they normally wait for the full release to fix.

Yeah, it's one of my main gripes. I'd love to rebuild Arsenal myself, but it almost never needs rebuilding because the team does have a lot of individual talent and that wins more games in FM these days than it does in real life lol

Another thing the game needs to go along with this (in part creating what you mean), is backroom staff morale/personalities. They need to play a part in it as well. Along with the board/owners, etc. It all needs to be one big system with multiple different working parts playing a role to effect it. Like real life. That way you get fans being angry at owners. Managers being upset with owners/the board. Backroom staff upsetting players, etc. Players speaking out about issues in the media, on social media, etc. And all this effecting teams in a more dynamic way, which effects how they perform during matches.

But I doubt we ever see that. Because they would have to make assumptions about real life people, and they would be afraid of being sued for slander/defamation of character. Same reason we don't see more issues with real life players in the game. Which is sad.

I also have a feeling that a number of their players would also not enjoy it as much as we potentially would. There are people who just want to set up, win, and never worry about if a player sleeping with another players wife is going to destroy team chemistry. Not to get to close to the TOS, but look at some of the reaction to the "Regens coming out" feature. That sort of thing has a specific audience, and FM will rightfully continue to put forth their efforts to a more general audience. It's the same reason they tone down injuries.

Any advice on the best 2 striker formations to use? I've got Mbappe + Ronaldo and want them on the pitch at the same time, while still able to play Sancho and Rashford on the wings.

I've got some serious good midfielders who I'd like to play as well. Valverde, McTominay, Fernandes, Pogba.

Any good ideas on how to utilize all these guys to the best of their abilities in the same formation?

I am not sure who will I play as when the full version comes out. I want to play in the second division of one of the top 5 leagues. I am considering likes of Malaga, Werder, Eibar, Catania (3rd division), Auxerre.

Wasn’t there a skin 2 years ago called TAD? Or TED or something?

I used TCS last year and really liked it.

Yeah, Tad Twenty. It was a great theme. I used it for a good while on FM20. The maker didn't continue it for FM21 though. So I'm not sure it will be back this year either. I also really miss the Wanachup skins from FM16 and FM17.

Just completed a season in Latvia in FM22 beta, since its the new league this year. Not a fan of leagues with odd teams. They have 7. And you play the other 6 teams 4 times. Its also a league that runs odd dates, April to October. One season is good for me.

Getting impatient for the full release. I want to do a save in Portugal and try and to make Portugal one of the top four leagues in Europe.

Where do y'all get your updated databases, graphics, etc. from? I currently use FMSlovakia (graphics) and Sortitoutsi (database). Looking to branch out a little more and see what other databases, etc. are out there, so wondering what y'all use.

FM Slovakia for kits, Sortitoutsi for faces and logos, fmscout for skins and have dabbled there with the 10 tier English DB.

I subscribed back to Gamepass this month due to having a free month and decided to just download FM 22 this morning just out of curiosity and noticed the below:

                                <a href="https://ibb.co/ySX8jMw"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/ySX8jMw/Screenshot-35.png" alt="Screenshot-35" border="0"></a>

Does this mean that it's now fully moddable because I don't remember FM 21 having this option or notice.
