The team always seems much more badass with Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink on it.Comment

Groups were drawn for the Champions League.
Edit: How many people here have gotten touchline bans? Earlier I received one (maybe my 5th one in FM)Last edited by jvalverde88; 09-09-2011, 12:35 AM.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
It was tough but I qualified. Last game is against the team I lost to, Spartak Moscow.
Hopefully I win or get a draw so I can get a high seeding in the Knockout draw.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Started a career game to learn how to really play the game before '12 comes out. Took the Derby job in October when they were in 20th and have proceeded to not drop a game yet. 5-0-5 with the key win being over Leeds when they were in 2nd. Alberto Bueno and Ben Davies have just been money in the 4-2-3-1. Once the January transfer window opens, I need to sell some people off to try and bring in two more pieces to make a push for promotion.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Stretched the unbeaten streak to 20 games (21 overall), the last one being a 2-1 win over leaders Burnley. I have to play Liverpool next in the FA Cup, so more than likely it was a nice run.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

Back to back Coupe De France winners. Now on to try to win Ligue 1 where I'm only 5 points from first.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Got a great result in the first leg of the UCL knockout stages against Porto. I was up 5-0 at one point, but their two goals were goal of the year material, including a chip of my keeper, which I had never seen work in FM.
Also, my quest for Five Serie A titles in a row is going quite well as of Feb. 18:
