Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Planned on ending my night by watching this Monterry v Ulsan match to see who Chelsea would be playing on Thursday while getting some much needed time in my Heerenveen save, what happens though? Crash dumps every time I try to process past 10/9/16. Don't even want to watch the game now just gonna dvr it and go to bed, probably even shed a few tears for my lost save.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I managed to go from Russia to Spain, signing a one year deal to manage Real Union, currently sitting 20th in the Second Division B2. They want a top half finish out of the year, I'm hoping the guys I picked up on free transfers will help me achieve that goal.
In the most controversial move in my FM playing career, the Team Captain asked to be transfer listed, he wasn't worth much, and since we're outside of a transfer window, i just released him on a free. Morale dropped, but recovered after a team meeting.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I'm having a trouble choosing a team and sticking with them in 13. In 12, I had a lot of fun using AZ, Millwall, etc and played about 5+ years in that save, can't say the same with 13.
I'm done with Huesca as the board is literally giving me nothing to work with.Comment

Yeah I've had the same problem so far. Save with Chivas USA, Juan Pablo Angel got injured, my team was dreadful, sacked in the middle of the season. Tried an international game with the United States, got destroyed by injuries and Dempsey's attitude. Now I'm going with Wigan.Comment

Fulham is interested in hiring me but Harry Red looks to be their number one guy. I'm sticking it out in Italy though.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So every time I play Citeh I'm almost always up front early and usually up big. Last game I'm up 3-0 against them within 12 minutes! The score of death for me... within 10 minutes an OG and a Lescott header from a corner and 3-2. Fortunately I manage to net another and hold them down to win 4-2.
Last two meetings were also 3-0 and one I lost and drew the other.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Wanted to try something. I am top of the league with the best goal difference. I had a home match vs a mid table team. I led a passionate pregame speech and fired some people up so it got me feely saucy. I tried to catch my opponents off guard and went attacking and pushing forward right out the gate. The first mins was an absolute nightmare and I never got it going losing 0-2.
I guess I learned my lesson and will start off with a more familiar approach.Comment

All is not well in my Karlsruhe save. After losing in the promotion playoffs in year 1, I started year two way below the wage budget (after selling some players and bringing in cheaper free transfers) and am once again in contention for promotion. The problem is, I managed to break even in year 1 by getting TV revenue from some friendlies and a Pokal match vs. Bundesliga teams. No network has wanted to televise a Karlsruhe match this season, and the board is losing money like crazy. The board may force me to start selling players soon, and they're threatening to slash the wage budget. But I'm so far below the current wage budget (with no plans to increase it) that this would have no effect.
I feel like I'm working for Hicks and Gillette.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
It happens is all my versions of the save. I did a total uninstall and I'm hoping that will help it, but if it doesn't I'll be devestated. I've built this team up exactly how I've wanted and just starting over sounds like the worst possible thing in the world.Comment

It really does, I think that's why I left Ural so quickly, it wasn't easy to get free transfers, and the team just didn't fit my style of football. Made me feel even worse for losing my Viborg save.Support Local Sports

Everything I've tried didn't work so it looks like I'll be taking an extended leave from the wonderful game cause starting a new save just doesn't seem enjoyable right now.Comment

Deleting your settings files as shown here - http://www.sigames.com/faq/fm13.php?id=69
Then re-verify your cache as shown here - http://www.sigames.com/faq/fm13.php?id=83
Then try changing from GPU rendering as explained here - http://www.sigames.com/faq/fm13.php?id=86
If the above don't work, try moving all custom installed graphics (like skins/facepacks) to a different folder so you can run FM without them. If this works, move them back one-by-one so you can find out by elimination what was the problem.
And finally, try holidaying past the day in question.Comment
