Even with our recent win streak and subsequent push to Second place in League One, I went ahead and applied at Leeds after Sean O'Driscoll was sacked. Leeds are said to be "flattered by my interest" but it remains to be seen if I'll get that job. Most of my staff love me, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the mass exodus from Port Vale, if it goes down between Leeds and I.Support Local Sports

My God man, what did you do? Did you pull a John Terry and sleep with their wives?

6 matches to go, hanging on barely to Champions League, just caught a break in the last round of fixtures with Spurs and Liverpool both losing giving me a 7 point cushion from 5thComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
The final 6 matches
Blackpool(H)- Completely **** the bed. Lost 6-1. 4 point cushion
Chelsea(A)- Another Heavy Defeat. 1 point edge on 5th. And there went the Goal Differential edge I had(10-2 in last two)
Reading(A)- Come back to win 2-1. Spurs and Scouser both lose. Cushion back up to 4
Arsenal(A)-Spirited 1-0 loss. 3 point edge over Spurs and Villa who have won 8 matches in 9 to get into contention
Blackburn(H)-WILFRIED ZAHA TO THE RESCUE! 2 goals in the final 10 minutes to win 2-1! Villa loses, Scousers win, Spurs win. Can finish no worse than 4th!
Everton(A)-3-0 defeat at Goodison. Lose out on 3rd place to Spurs on Goal Differential
Lewandowski signed on Free(Yay!)
Side story to the season that I kind of like, in December, Chelsea(9th at the time) sack Ancelotti, the media make me the betting favorite. I decide to play it coy and not comment on it. Coy wasnt the strategy of City coach, Roberto Mancini who declare his interest for the job(City were 2nd at the time)
Chelsea hire Mancini, and City hire Ancelotti. They finish the season 9th and 10th respectively.
That's what you get, you bumsComment

Ended up getting fired from Hull for requesting a higher wage budget in the offseason. Probably going to start a Villa save soon...sick of playing with teams that have $0 available for transfers.Comment

I kind of hate you for being really good at this game, Mo.

I've log so many hours in this edition that at this point it's probably cheating.
Also havent won anything at Palace yet., I'm in leveraging the future at moment with the high money moves I'm making.
Also if it makes you feel better, I tried the '13 demo, and sucked major balls at it. It kicked my ***Comment

So, in a nutshell, my original West Ham save got messed up when i upgraded to Win 8 (which is pretty good btw). Luckily i had a back up of a save from a few weeks before i left. Decided to try and finish out the season, ended up getting fired anyway for finishing below expectations (top half) lol.
Applied and got the job at Reading who were in the NP Championship at the time (2019/2020 season). Dominated the league and finished 1st a comfy 10 pts ahead of Fulham. My first ever outright league title.
2020/2021 season we played well above expectations in the EPL and finished 9th. Had good solid wins against City, United, Liverpool, West Ham and Chelsea who rounded out the top 5 in that order. After all that, board still only gave me a transfer budget of $12 mil, basically forcing me to build for the future with medium talent, high potential players.
Current season 2021/2022, lost our top striker with a broken leg in a friendly. Out for 8 months smh. Needless to say we have struggled to score through the first 13 games but we have been incredibly solid at the back allowing less than a goal per game. Currently in 15th place but playing betterComment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Good start to the season. Picked up a few guys, nothing too big though. Hopefully we can keep it up and maybe even contend for promotion. My goal is to finish in the upper half of the league.
Next Transfer window I'm going to target a striker that did well in my Doncaster save, he's currently 16 years old. I'm attached to him for some reason lol
I'll probably have to get a few loaners instead. Any particular type of player i should get? Probably somebody older than 25 right? so that they're as good as their potential says?
I used to put important things hereComment

Trying something different, will take over Farnborough F.C. in the Conference South. That's the lowest league in England, trying to get them to Premier League. They were reformed in 07 so they're fairly new. I'll probably go crazy before I even get to the EPL, it'll be worth if I actually make it all the way.Comment
