There is so much for them to fix in this game right now. Like, an insane amount of stuff that is bugged or broken. There is no way they can get it all done by the 4th.

Also I just read they do have lots of this stuff ready to go in a patch coming up (but who knows if that is true or not). So that is promising. Don't decide to not buy the game because of my single post.

Got the Beta, seems to crash and boot me out of the game alot for the moment!
Think i might go for the ultimate challenge of running with a team from the Vanarama National league!...I played around with a league one team on FM16 that was challenging enough!Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Got my Spurs team running along pretty good. Had a problem giving up a lot of goals earlier in the season, but now over my last 5 EPL games, I've only allowed 1 goal, so that seems to have been resolved.
Just before January 1, exactly halfway through the league season, we are sitting 2nd, a point behind Arsenal. United is really struggling in mid-table, and Watford seem to be punching way above their weight.
We have somewhat of an injury crisis on our hands. Our top 3 choices at striker (Kane, Janssen, and Son) are all out with long term injuries. The worst being Kane, out 2-3 months with a broken ankle.
So the choice was either play one of our Academy strikers WAY over his head, or go without a striker. I read up on strikerless tactics, and settled on this.
It seems to be working well so far. This was the first match where we debuted the tactic. What's a guy gotta do to get a 10.0 rating?!
Approaching the January window, I was thinking I'd have to panic buy a striker, but with how well that strikerless tactic is going, I think I'll be ok for a few weeks until I get Janssen/Son back. Gonna try to convince Pulisic to come to London.Last edited by gopher_guy; 11-01-2016, 04:28 PM.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Scumming around with Chelsea in the beta and messing with different tactics before I dive into a lower league save. Started out a bit rough, but have managed to go unbeaten in the last 12 matches.
Also Costa wants to leave due to not playing in the UCL. He's in great goal-scoring form and Man City are hot on my heels for his signature. No thanks. As long as his whining continues to go unnoticed by his teammates, I'm keeping him here.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
You know what I love. Having a player score two goals, get an assist, and have a 9.6 rating. Which brings their last 5 to a 8.45. So I go to tell him I'm happy with his performance, and he tells me he doesn't think so. So I say, "well I'm glad you think you can do better, I just wanted to say you impressed me out there." To which he replies "Just let me get on with my game". How about get bent lad. How about that. How does the B team sound for next week?
