Another home loss against a side we should beat. The only good thing about today was that Chelsea lost so while we didn't gain any ground, we didn't lose any either

    Hopefully, we'll rebound this week
I can't recall the last time the team at the top dropped points and we picked up points.

Cesc was definitely off. He hasn't got a good run of games in, though.

Also, how about RVP coming on. Did not expect that at all.

Cesc couldn't help but give the ball away in that game for some reason. Chamakh wasn't able to do a thing. Walcott was quiet. Arshavin looked dangerous.... too bad he didn't start

Wilshere was all over the pitch, but it wasn't enough. v.Persie wasn't really involved much, but it's good to see him back.

Bottom line: Very disappointing. To be serious title contenders, we have to win games like this. Newcastle look decent this year, but that's no excuse. Arsenal need beat Newcastle at home.

Agreed, but to be fair, no one's running away. Chelsea has a 5 point lead primarily because they had an easy easy schedule to open the season. They're coming back to earth a bit now with their injuries and tougher games.

We're starting to get healthy and match fit so there are positives coming.

Surprised Rosicky didn't get on at all. He seems a much better option then Arshavin this season in my opinion. At least he looks like he's putting in an effort. Walcott was very unlucky with that shot off the crossbar. It was a great strike.

Does anyone else think the goal was a Fabianski error? I certainly do. I think he made the right decision in coming for it, but to get beaten for it was pretty sad. I still think we need to purchase a world class keeper.

Arsenal are appealing Koscielny's red card. Not sure why since he was the last man.

He should have punched it away. I think a world class keeper would definitely have made that play, but a lot of keepers would have done the same thing as Fabianski.

Szczesny looked good in the league cup against Newcastle but he said he wants Wenger to sell him or put him out on loan. He wants playing time. Fabianski is not the answer. Almunia is not the answer. Maybe Szczesny is. He's young and could develop into a solid keeper.

He was the last man, but I honestly didn't see much contact at all. I know they said he pulled, but it looked like equal contact.

Were not serious title contenders. Serious title contenders don't lose home games to 2 newly promoted sides. Serious title contenders have competent goal keepers. Serious title contenders have a little fight about them.

Like I said, we aren't serious title contenders (wasn't a shot at you, I'm just sick of getting my hopes up when this team just isn't good enough to win the premiership).

Exactly. Man U was able to at least tie Wolves on Saturday. Wenger has said money is available for January. Hopefully he means that.

There has supposedly been money the last upteen transfer windows. The big question is will the guy actually spend it.

Wenger's pride has been one of this clubs biggest enemies the last few years.

When I read that, I had to think to myself about the result of the game. Something wasn't making sense there.

Yeah I made a mistake. Wolves equalized but then Park scored that late winner.

Wenger thinks that he can put out the youngsters and beat anyone. So. from his point of view, there is no money reason to spend big money

FA have turned down the appeal. He'll serve a 2 match ban since it is his second red card of the season.
