Well, it's not horrible. Apparently Vermaelen has encountered another setback with his injury, though.

So, this means we'll be going with Djourou and Squillaci at the back. Luckily, if one were to get injured in these next two games, Song can still fill in.

I think we really need a dominating win tomorrow at Wolves. Obviously a win will do just fine, but I think we need to once again make a statement of intent, in a way, to ourselves.

The ESPN3 feed has no sound. Ridiculous. I hope it's fixed soon.

However, Chamakh scores thirty seconds in!

2-0 it finishes. Three huge points.

I'm sure there will be attention to Fabgregas' yellow card at the end, but I think it was a yellow only. If Henry's tackle earlier in the game on Arshavin wasn't even a foul, then Fabregas only deserves a yellow.

      Well done, lads.

Absolutely magnificent play from Fabianski He made up for his mistake against Newcastle. Arshavin again looked very dangerous.

All in all a good match for Arsenal, although a bit heart-wrenching.

Magnificent, but it didn't make up for the mistake. Without his mistake, we could be sitting 2nd in the table. He showed again today that he is capable of making fantastic saves, though. Although, sometimes I feel as if he shouldn't have to, because we defensively make mistakes or do not close down.

          Either way, three points, hooray!

Cut him a break. I'm wondering why nobody picked up Carrol in the first place. Maybe if someone had put a body on him, Fabianski wouldn't have had to come out of his net like that.

That said, he still should have made the play. These few couple games in the league are going to be a real test.... Everton, Spurs, Villa.

Cut him a break! He is the last person on this team that deserves to be cut a break, he has cost us a ****load of points over the last couple of years.

Cheers to his performance yesterday, it was top class. But the man has a long way to go to gain my trust.

Exactly. I gave him the blame for the Newcastle game, which means I'll give him the credit for yesterday's game. He still has a long way to go before I cringe every single time there is a ball floated into the box. It's to the point now where I want to close my eyes when we give up a corner.

He is shaky when the ball is in the air. Yesterday may have just been a fluke for Fabianski. Wenger may still go after a keeper in January. We haven't had a decent, trustworthy keeper since David Seaman. Lehman was not consistent, though he had some great runs.

It's time to go out and land a good young keeper. I'm talking about guys like Lloris, Neuer, or Akinfeev. We might have to put up a lot but it would solve the keeper problem.

I want it to happen, but I don't think it will.

That would be a good signing and he's English which also helps....

With his lack of playing time and his constant complaining about it, I'm surprised Szczesny signed a new long term deal.

Just imagine, if we get him, he'll be allowed to pull off leg breaking challenges without anyone even caring!

This is why I don't see us signing a new keeper who is fairly young.

Bendtner may push for transfer due to lack of starts.

Nicklas Bendtner has aired his frustration at being on the fringes of Arsenal, and said he will push for a transfer if his prospects do not improve

I'm not surprised. I always sensed this coming from him once we signed Chamakh.

Honestly, I think he has been wanting a transfer for quite sometime and personally it wouldn't bother me one bit if he was sold. He has a ton of potential but I don't think he will ever reach it.

He should also fetch a pretty decent fee from a Juventus or somebody of that nature. Iirc there has always been a lot of interest in Nic from Italy.
