Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
If that is true, then no. Not only would I not want to pay it, no way Arsene pays it, which is something I love about the guy.Comment

The great thing about bringing back Sol is that there is no way Arsene even thinks about this move unless we are getting him for nothing.
He played pretty well for us last year. I have no arguments about bring him back if its for pennies."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

As for Cahill, while he'd be ideal, there's no way we pay a ridiculous amount for him. My hope is that Bolton will cave and sell him for less because they want Vela on loan and are in need of money, but I don't know how likely that is.Comment

I made this move in my Fifa season.
Love Samba. Just the toughness this team needs, IMO.
Funny, I turned off the FA game in disgust with about three minutes left...just found out today they drew, lol.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

I'd love Cahill, Samba, or Hangeland.
Too bad we'll get some 17 year old 5'5'' French center half who is expected to grow 3 feet in the next year.Blind to this impending fate

You would think so. But because he'd play for Arsenal, his spine would snap in half. And he'd go through hours of surgery to become a 5'10'' centerback.Blind to this impending fate

Rumours on Sky say Arsenal interested in getting Matthew Upson back. Should get him relatively cheap as he can move for free in the summer.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Still no word on team selection for today, other than Wenger saying he will field a strong side, possibly Bendtner at central striker. Also, Czczesny will continue in goal.
Edit: Here it is...
Szczesn, Eboué, Koscielny, Djourou, Gibbs; Denílson, Wilshere; Walcott, Fábregas, Arshavin; Bendtner.
Subs: Shea, Vela, Ramsey, Song, Chamakh, Eastmond, Miquel.
Wow, we're going for this cup and I love it.Last edited by Krebstar; 01-12-2011, 03:35 PM.Comment

Ahhhh. We just went down 1-0, but Briskin was clearly offside.
Also, the commentator said they deserve the lead. Really? Since when did putting ten men behind the ball deserve anything?
Finished 1-0. I had to turn the sound off near the end due to hearing this while Arsenal were in possession..."Now Arsenal, searching for an undeserved equalizer." You're kidding, right?
I gladly welcome Ipswich to the Emirates in twelve days where we shall win by three goals. Yes, calling it. So angry.Last edited by Krebstar; 01-12-2011, 05:42 PM.Comment
