Absolutely ridiculous!!! I can't believe we've dropped so many points in the league without having faced the big teams. It's time to focus on the Champions league and finishing 4th.

Better watch out for Rory Delap's long throw -ins on Saturday. Can't believe teams haven't defended against these very well so far. You know what they are going to do!

Match of the year so far last night.

Unbelievable effort from Spurs. This is a completely new club under uncle Harry.

        Juande who?

We do have the talent to win, but as a young side with poor defending and goalkeeping, it's going to be hard to win any trophies

Couldn't have said it better myself. This team is one top notch GK and serviceable CB or holding midfielder away from being a real top class side.

Another poor game today. We were beat again and to make things worse, RVP was sent off. The only reason Arsenal are not out of the title race yet is because Liverpool lost which still leaves us 6 points (2 games) out.

I hope Wenger has been doing some research for a keeper and another defender.

I will be buying a defender and keeper when the FM 2009 demo comes out tonight

Sell RVP and start ****ing Carlos Vela. At least then we would get consistent minutes from both our strikers.

Just watched the Arsenal game. Odd lineup choice for Arsene Wenger today. A midfield of Fabragas, Denilson, Song & Diaby. Nasri didn't even play.

If Arsene doesn't get off his high horse and spend some money in January. Then UEFA Cup here we come.

It is not fun watching them dropping points, but i'll suck it up and hope they will pull through in the end.

                      Sheesh...that was terrible.

I was watching the Tottenham game while in Portugal and it was absolutely sad, that last 10 minutes. I figured it had to be a fluke. I get back into London and they don't even notch a single point. What a rough week.

LOL, sorry about that. I thought this tactic might trouble you guys. You sure do lack height in central defence. I know Gallas didn't play, but he's only 5'11''. Toure and Silvestre are both 6 feet. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Wenger try to bring in a tall centre-back in January.

He better bring in somebody. Arsene's stubborn transfer policy is getting old will quick now that were not winning anything. If we were lacking funds it would be different, but were not. Wenger had 30 million pounds to throw around not counting the players we already had acquired, but chose not too.

And with clubs not spending big these days, this would be a nice chance for Wenger to get some good deals. I know we really need a nice tall CB as well as someone who can break up play in the midfield.

I love Denilson, but he's not the type of player Flamini is who can break up play and help Cesc on the defensive side. We're getting bullied when we play teams who can physically maul the team.

Gallas and Toure are great when on form, but not tall. Almunia is average at best and that's why Wenger needs to upgrade those areas. Spend the money Arsene - it's there.

I don't understand why more teams aren't going with the Stoke City and Hull City approach against Arsenal. Flooding the box with defenders and just focusing on beating them with set pieces. If more teams start going with those tactics against Arsenal this season, I have a hard time seeing this team making the top 4.

Yeah me and my friend were discussing this after the Stoke City loss (he is a Liverpool fan) and it is clear to see where Arsenal lacks at. These losses and draws are not wake up calls AW, Arsenal is being exposed. I do agree it is going to very difficult to crack top 4 this year, especially with Aston Villa right on their heels, who I think are going to be a very hard team for the other top teams to scrap wins against (look at their 0-0 game against Liverpool). I do think AW sent Senderos away too quickly. I was shock to see him go on loan when they already lacked depth at the CB position to begin with. I am not saying he was a vital piece for Arsenal but he was pretty good at defending set pieces and even scoring on some. I am pretty sure AW will shake things up in January.
