I can sum up the reason why Arsenal won in one word: Mannone!

Can you elaborate on the attitude? On FSC he looked annoyed a few times that the ball wasn't passed to him, but in those instances he looked wide open and he looked no more annoyed than any other player would who should have received the pass. But you probably got to see things that we at home watching in TV did not.

Arshavin's annoyance does seem to be more than the usual annoyance players show when not passed the ball. He almost seems annoyed by his teams attacking as a whole sometimes.

Is it just me, or does anyone else want Bendtner to get rid of the ball as soon as he gets it? He won me over at the start of the season, now it seems that he squanders more opportunities than anyone else on the pitch.

^^two things... first, arshavin has issues with chemistry, putting the ball in the right spot. continually missed the guys on the corner. also he does not flow with the rest of the team. just stays on the wing. he gets moving and super talented during the attack with great runs etc... his attitude on the field seems weak.

bendtner... dribble dribble dribble, turnover. don't get me wrong, for a 6-4 guy, he has amazing quality. but both he and diaby hold on to the ball too long. inexperience and lack of confidence.

That's why I don't understand why Wenger plays him on the right wing. He's 6-4. He should be the one getting on the end of the crosses NOT the one crossing it in.

Well, Arsenal drew Liverpool in the Carling Cup. Wenger probably won't just play the young guys this time, but we'll see.

i don't think he has shown the ability to be a holding CF yet... still too quick to dribble. its just youth really... he will get better. but, he does have the quality to play the wing. and can cross extremely well (or better than most rate). he does dominate the wing... with his height... almost like a holding winger (does that exist???)... i see potential. he nearly had a score yesterday.

but remember, against fulham he will always play 90min for one reason... hangeland. he is huge in person, i was right behind the goal...

I agree that Bendtner should be playing predominately CF. He tries to get a little to cute w/ his dribbling and passing when he is on the wing. When he only has to make one move and then strike, that is when he really shines.

Denilson out for two months. And Bendtner gets himself in a car wreck.

I don't think we will miss Bendtner. The team had a lot better movement without him on the wing. He is more of a central target player. At the wing he is just not a dangerous enough crosser of the ball or dribbler. I though initially he would cut in and try to catch some headers, but he has stayed wide. I would rather see Walcott or Rosicky out on that side.

Captain Fab is back!! What a performance.A goal and 4 assists. Fab, Rosicky and Arshavin were a handful. Also nice to Walcott and Bendtner score.

Wow Arsenal destroyed Blackburn, I am very impressed. They went down twice early on and was able to muster up 5 unanswered goals. Thomas Vermaelen is a very impressive player, not only can he defend he can score. Wenger has made another impressive signing. And Cesc had an excellent game with a goal and 4 assist he looked really great also.
