What's going to be interesting is what sort of dive is going to be reprimanded? Eduardo got banned for winning a penalty by diving? What about if a player dives just to try and get a player a second yellow card?

What I'm getting is, Emmanuel Eboue clearly dived last week about 25 yards from goal. He was quickly shown a yellow card. Now why wasn't he banned for that then? He dived.

I'm not picking on Arsenal BTW, just making a point.

It definitely sets a scary precedent. UEFA even came out and said if Eduardo had received a yellow card he wouldn't have faced a ban.

Thats some messed up logic imo. Basically Eduardo is being banned because the referee blew a decision.

Did anything happen to the referee? Did he get punished for the blown call?

Not sure, but I doubt it.

Wenger announced during his pre-match press conference that Arshavin will miss at least the next three games (one week, Sat/Wed/Sat) due to the groin injury he had going into the international break. Super...

I assume Theo won't be ready yet either since I've heard zilch about him, so we'll be a bit short up front. Could we possibly see Vela's name on the subs list for the first time?

Plus no Fabregas or Rosicky either. Thats a lot of firepower missing for a big game against Man City tomorrow.

So tired of hearing about Eduardo and the dive. He dove Arsene, quit bitching about it. EPL teams and English players are notorious for it, get over it.

It's the fact the UEFA singled him out for a two game ban for something that receives a yellow card in the match. Yes he did dive, but you said yourself, "EPL teams and English players are notorious for it, get over it." If that's the case, why the hell would one player be banned for two games? Anyways, there's no point in going on about it, I agree.

What I came in here to say is what a disgusting end to today's game. I guess that was Adebayor when he cares. Real classy to taunt the Arsenal supporters section after his goal. Hmmm, perhaps he'll get a two game ban, as I'm sure there's a rule about that...

It's a shame to see them skinned when pushing for the equalizer, but the rest of the performance wasn't anything to write home about. I know they were short up front without Arshavin, but the squad didn't look right today. Diaby & Bendtner as your wide players is, oh I don't know, less than inspiring. The big Dane has done a decent enough job out there, but without a true threat on the other side, the attack had no threat from wide positions. Any crosses that came in had no Gunners around to get them, aside from RVP who isn't going to win many, if any, aerial battles.

Good to see Rosicky on the pitch, but I hope he can play a few in a row for once. He can make a difference and as much as Diaby has impressed -- forgiving the OG and he looks downright dangerous at times -- I'd much rather see Diaby alongside Cesc and Rosicky playing to the left of RVP. Or RVP in the left hole with Bendtner in the middle and Rosicky in the right hole. Can you even say left & right hole? I guess there's really only one hole, now isn't there?

Before Arsenal's match against ManCity, I enjoyed Adebayor's play as a footballer. But after his stamp on VP's face and disrespect by running the entire length of the pitch to celebrate in front of Arsenal fans makes me sick to my stomach. Can't wait to see the next Arsenal/ManCity fixture at the Emirates, can't wait to her the "Boos!" for every Adebayor touch.

Yeah, it looked like the blow to to Van Persie was intentional, but we'll never know.

I wonder if yesterday would be enough to get the Arsenal supporters singing the "other" Adebayor song.

You know what kind of feeling the Club has for Adebayor and their reaction to his dispicable behavior. When they release RVP's response on the clubs official website.

This is the first time I have seen an article condemning a player on the Arsenal website.

As it should've been all along. To bad his image is already destroyed. The Croatia/England game showed you that. He will have to literally be mutilated to get a PK awarded from now until the end of his career.
