Starting XI for the official start of the 11-12 campaign.

Szczesny, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Vermaelen(C), Gibbs, Wilshere, Song, Ramsey, Walcott, Chamakh, Miyaichi.

Really excited to see Ryo on the wing. Supposedly this kid is a stud.

I thought I read somewhere he was going back to Holland on loan. Back to Feyenoord or Ajax or something.

I think he is. Just spending the preseason with us. He really impressed at Feyenoord last season. Haven't gotten a chance to see the kid so I'm pretty excited to watch him.

This Maylaisian team is truly awful there entire attack consist of shooting from midfield.

Aaron Ramsey scored our first goal after Jack drew a penalty. Currently 1-0.

A Cesc like pass from Ramsey leads to a first touch chip from Theo Walcott to make it 2-0. Really liking Ryo, seems to provide a lot of width.

I actually think he will stay at least for this season.

Wilshere, Ramsey, Walcott, Song, Vermaelen, and Ryo all played well in their 45. Jenkinson really looked bad, he was exposed way too much by a team like that and he looks really uncomfortable on the ball.

That is one advantage of being a sales rep. I'll just have to work an hour longer than normal.

Hopefully its nerves with Jenkinson because he looked pretty bad. I think Ryo goes back out. He looked good but he I don't think he is ready to play at the level we would need him at.

edit- Mannone, Rosick, Frimpong, Vela, Squilacci, Dijorou, and Denilson on to start the 2nd.

Mannone just got called for holding the ball too long. Haven't seen that one called in a while. Ramsey should have scored his second after a sweet one touch pass by Vela put him on goal, his shot sailed over the cross bar.

Vela makes it 3-0 as he chips the keeper after Rosicky plays him through. Good finish from the Mexican.

Apparently he can't get a work permit yet, so they seemed resigned to loaning him out for another year.

The quicker barca make a move for Sanchez the better. we need our core to stick around + some.
