I agree. He is slowly getting there. He had a great start to last season. He single handedly destroyed Blackpool getting a hat trick early on in the campaign. His ankle injury hampered the majority of the rest of the season. He is always asking to play up front with RVP but I guess Wenger prefers him on the wing. Maybe with Arteta in the lineup he'll get a chance up top. I recall Arteta played the majority of his games on the right hand side before the emergence of Seamus Coleman. Then he played alongside Fellaini in the middle. Plenty of options you have in midfield now.

If Theo could ever get a decent final ball he would be really good. That is his biggest flaw."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I think he'd be a big loss, unless AOC proves to be just as good, if not better. Either way, losing any pace would not be good and as much as Theo infuriates many of us at times, he's finally starting to finish. It's taken awhile, but I think he's slowly getting there. I think he's set to have a pretty good season.
actually, i am surprised AW hasnt put him at LW. look how often he darts to the middle like silva.
anyway, tuesday was a tremendous day for arsenal. never going to be able to replace the talent of Csec, but he never led us to silverware. i know he need more around, just saying. we bought experience and toughness. leadership... we are, i believe a better team than 4 months ago. maybe less star players, but i am excited to see these guys play.

Two of my other favorite teams do this regularly. It's bogus and infuriating.Comment

After this massive spending spree by Wenger standards. I put our chances of making signing in January at less than 1%."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

My thoughts now that I've had time to think about this.
Mertesacker - best signing by AW. Finally, we have a commanding CB presence along with TV5. I think he'll do great in the league and will help protect our keeper. Let's be honest though, he doesn't have to do too much to be better than Koscielny, Djourou, or Squllaci
Arteta - solid solid signing. He's a proven Premier League player who works his tail off and should fit in with RVP, Wilshere, and Ramsey. He's got injury issues and is 29, but good move for Wenger to get him before the end of the window
Santos - an experienced left-back who can't be any worse than Traore and will complement Gibbs in that he's more defensive. Like this signing too
The 8-2 loss will be a turning point for this club and Wenger because I think he finally realized that you cannot win with a squad of youngsters. I know he tried he tried it 4 years ago, but he also had a better team back then. There's only 1 Cesc who can be world class before the age of 20. If we start doing well, he won't buy in January lolComment
